We had an amazing experience with this company from start to finish! We hired them to install carpet in two of our kids' bedrooms, and the entire process was seamless. Vicky was absolutely wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even giving our kids snacks while we looked through carpet samples. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and somehow knew exactly what we were looking for after just a few minutes of talking with us. She helped us choose the perfect carpet, and we couldn't be happier with the result. The installation was scheduled just one week later, and the installers did an excellent job. The new carpet looks absolutely perfect and has looks great in our home. If you're looking for new carpet, I can't recommend this company enough. Their customer service, professionalism, and quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely use them again! read more

We were years overdue for new carpet. Finally decided to venture out and seek out a company to replace it. Started with J and B which was local and close to my house, and knew they had been in business for a long time. They've actually been in business for 47 years! Well, after meeting with Vicki, I didn't go anywhere else. She is a doll! She made everything so easy for us and the carpet was ordered, delivered, and installed within a couple of weeks. It looks incredible! J & B's prices are extremely fair and they have so many different options to choose from. I'm thankful to have met Vicki and to have worked with such a wonderful small, local business. If you're looking for flooring, make this your first stop. You probably won't go anywhere else. read more

We needed to re-carpet our home we've been in for 12 years when we moved in, but never did so finally getting to get new carpet was such a blessing. But my suggestion for any person needing flooring do it before you've moved in because it was a lot of work even with paying for movers through J&B. Vicki was incredibly personable and easy to talk to because our house is small and we only had a couple rooms to carpet. We chose the wool carpet and now I'm in love and don't know what to do about ever moving into another home than not having wool carpet! Worth every penny! One room we did in a different cheaper carpet because we have parrots that use the room... our feathered kids so we opted for a piece from a commercial job they had left over and when we move we will redo the room in the wool. We had the best experience with J & B carpets. We needed new carpet in both of our kids rooms and they did such an amazing job! We were so impressed with how personable they were. They really took the time to help us figure out what the best option was for us, they were quick, had great communication, and their installers did a great job. They even followed up after to make sure we were happy and to give good carpet care tips. Would definitely recommend and we will use them again for future flooring needs. read more

I was looking to replace my carpet thanks to a guest who stayed at my Airbnb and stained it beyond repair. Reached out to this wonderful store based on the stellar reviews and the hype is real! She was a joy to speak with and very honest and genuine. Highly recommended! read more

My nephew recently moved out of my mother's house after living there with her for 10 years. He moved in at age 17 and unsurprisingly the carpet in his room was ruined. Mom is 87 and she asked me to find her someone to replace the carpet. She lives in Phoenix but I live in Virginia so I had to rely on online reviews. I chose J & B Carpets as my first choice based on their location and reviews. The first thing I did though was check to see if they could accommodate a quick turnaround time. Mom had already mostly emptied the room and wanted to move things back into the room for us to come visit. Again she is 87. I did not want her to have to do this twice and it was obvious she was stressed. I spoke with Vikki from J & B Carpets and she assured me that they could do the job within a couple days of placing an order. My mother visited J & B Carpets on a Friday afternoon and selected an in stock carpet. The room was measured on Saturday morning. They installed the carpet on Monday!!!! Mom is thrilled with the carpet! Her granddaughter who is now staying there assures me the carpet is soft, well-padded and beautiful. The price was very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I am so happy I sent my mom there and not to some big box store where she would be just another number. Mom says that she will return there for any more carpeting needs. I am very very happy with this store. Highly recommend! read more

Every aspect of our interactions with J&B was superb from start to finish. Highly recommend.

J&B is highly rated and after working with them it is clear why. They came out on Saturday and had our carpets installed Monday. Very reasonable price and so easy to work with. Highly recommend. read more

So happy to find this great company on Yelp. Excellent service from Vikki the owner. She knows carpet very well, treated me great, and stayed true to estimated pricing. Even though they are located in Phoenix, she came all the way out to Queen Creek -- on a Sunday! -- to measure and get me squared away. True professional and very communicative. I knew exactly what was happening when and felt well-informed and appreciated as a customer. Thank you, Vikki! read more

We recently had our old carpets replaced, and we couldn't be more happy with the results as well as the process. We chose J & B Carpets because of the positive Yelp reviews. Vikki helped us pick the perfect carpet and brought lots of samples to our home. Talk about customer service!! The entire process took one day. Professional movers moved out our large furniture, the installers then came, and when they were done, the movers brought all of our things back in. It was seamless, and Vikki checked in often throughout the day. Oh, and the price was reasonable!! We couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!! read more

J & B Carpets - Beautiful carpet in the bedroom. - Carpeting Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I couldn't be more thrilled with the cream colored Berber carpet we had installed 2 years ago. We had it installed in all of our bedrooms and it's all held up incredibly well (still looks brand new) but I'm most shocked and surprised in how well it's held up in our busy toddler's room. From the moment it was installed, it has seen a lot of activity, from lots of playtime to the inevitable spills and messes. I followed Vicky's cleaning recommendations and this carpet still looks as pristine as the day it was installed! As soon as we contacted this company, their professionalism and attention to detail was evident. We felt very confident moving forward. Vicky was very knowledgeable and really listened to what we were looking for. She took the time to educate us on proper care of the carpet (which is super easy and quick) and was available for any questions that popped up along the way. We ultimately choose the cream colored Berber carpet (against our friends and family's advice because, come on...a toddler and light colored carpets is generally not a good combo) but here we are, 2 years later with brand new looking carpets. Even with the high foot traffic in our toddler's room, the carpet has maintained its color AND texture. It has absolutely no stains on it!! The install followed pretty quickly after the purchase and the installers did an excellent job. I recommend J&B Carpets to everyone looking for carpet. Not only was their service excellent, but their product has really stood the test of time. We will definitely be using them again in the future, although with how well this carpet is holding up....its probably going to be a while! Thank you J&B! read more

Great job replacing my smelly old dog potty carpet. Vikki helped me a lot and saved me some money on how to cover up the dog urine smell after the carpet was pulled up & before the new carpet was laid down. No more smell!! She also gave me great pointers on how to care for the carpet so it will last a long time. The installation only took a day. I am very happy with my new carpet & the service I received. They also did a great job on my staircase. Prior to their work, I had no kickboards (?) on the stairs, now they look great w the extra feature. read more

This review is long overdue. Over the last several years, we have had such noteworthy experiences with using J&B Carpets. We came across J&B Carpets after a miserable experience using Home Depot. We often need carpets for several of our rental properties and ever since stumbling upon J&B, we have never considered going anywhere else. They have an incredible selection of carpets and remnants to choose from. In addition to the selection of carpet, it is always really nice to interact with the owner, Vikki. She is both very delightful and incredibly charming. I would never consider going to another carpet supplier as long as J&B is in business. I recommend them to everyone looking for carpets. (On a side note, while they also do other kinds of flooring, up until now, my experience has been solely with carpets and carpet installation... of which they are superb!) read more

I was on an incredibly tight timeline to get carpet replaced in a rental condo with new tenants coming in 2 weeks. I saw all of the positive J&B Carpet reviews and texted Vikki on a Monday night ask if she could help me. She said she could and I met her the next day at 10am. By noon that day, she had come to the condo and measured my space and helped me select a good carpet for the area. But there was a problem- my cleaning team wasn't scheduled to come until just before the new tenants were moving in and we needed the condo cleaned before she could install. Vikki had a solution to that too and put me into contact with a cleaning person she uses. She got that condo clean on the same day that I first met with Vikki! Vikki had installation done in less than 48 hours and on the 4th of July no less! The carpets are gorgeous, the process was seamless and the price was very fair. I cannot overstate how thankful I am for Vikki and her team coming to my rescue! She really went the extra mile to help me and make it work even though it she had to move some things around and go the extra mile to make it happen. You don't see customer service like this very often. Definitely go see Vikki for your flooring needs. She's my "go to" from here on out! TL;DR: Go to J&B Carpet. They helped me out of a huge jam and make it happen in just a few days for a great price. Vikki is amazing. read more

What's not to love? I didn't even shop around because of a couple of important factors...wanted a local, and if possible, woman owned business, BBB A+ rating and because of the YELP reviews. They were all spot on! Vicki & Nola run such a professional and honest flooring company. Went to their business, unannounced, and they welcomed me warmly, reviewed all the details and options with me. Walked out with a contract! 2 weeks later, as scheduled, a team of gentlemen came (exactly on time) and wrapped/moved all my furniture. Then the carpet installation started and as promised by Vicki, I was back in my bed that evening! And the carpet looks so beautiful...I'm delighted! I can't express how strongly I feel about Vicki and her team. I am so happy to have to have found J&B Carpets ... and a friend! read more

I cannot recommend J&B Carpets enough! This was a great experience start to finish. We were walk-in customers and greeted by extremely friendly staff. We had our rambunctious 18 month old son with who they treated so sweetly and offered snacks and drinks to. Vikki was knowledgeable and friendly. She provided us with the guidance we needed on options and pricing to make our final decision. She was able to schedule installation around our needs and when the day came, they showed up on time and did a great job. Our home has been completely transformed and we could not be more pleased with the process! Pro tip - they only take cash or check, so be sure to bring that with you for deposits or amounts due. read more

My experience in buying new carpet from Vickie at J&B was fantastic. She is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, and she works with skilled and friendly installers. We loved working with Taylor. He knows his stuff. He was able to meet all our needs.

Recently bought a new home and the carpets were....undescribably nasty. I initially did a Home Depot quote and was told it'd be at least three weeks until they could do the job. I wasn't going to keep the old carpet in the house a minute longer than necessary. My wife mentioned a coworker and her went to a carpet place on 7th street and we could see what their timeline was. Well...we never found where my wife went with her coworker (I'm assuming it was 7th avenue as she has directional issues). Google / Yelp showed we were close to J&B Carpets so we decided to swing in and see if they could assist. Immediately we were greeted by a crazy Greek lady who gave my daughter chocolates and static water (flavored carbonated water). We discussed carpet, I found one in the "in stock" bowl that I liked and was told that they could come on Tuesday (it was a Friday or Saturday we stopped in). Tuesday, I was at work, the installer did his thing and the carpet was replaced. It looked great, was installed quickly and professionally, and has been wonderful. I would highly recommend J&B Carpets, if for no other reason than to meet the owners. Honestly it felt like working with family...dysfunctional and everyone is insane, but totally worth it. My daughter loved Vicky and her mother and out of all the things we had to do to get the house ready to move into, this was by far the easiest and most enjoyable. read more

Let me start by saying the hype is real with J & B Carpets. We were expecting our first child and wanted to make some much needed updates to the home - the biggest of which was carpet. I'd made a couple of inquiries here based on reviews and felt like I'd narrowed it down to two - another place that I won't name and J&B Carpet. Long story short the other place set an appointment with me and never even showed up or bothered to call me again so that was a big red flag. However, that was not the case with J&B - I got a super fast response from Vikki and was invited to drop by the showroom to take a look around. When we arrived we received the warmest greeting and after we laid out our situation she was able to quickly make some recommendations based on color and our budget. They have a great selection and their prices were very fair so after we got our other projects done it was a no brainer. The install crew that came knew what they were doing and immediately got to work once they arrived. I work from home so it was good to get the heads up on when they were coming and honestly it was as quiet as you'd expect something like this to be. As you can see communication is key for me so trust me when I tell you they are on it. Vikki was always a text or call away and made the whole process painless. If I had more flooring to do this is where I would go. I know this is a super long review but I hope I'm addressing what people are looking for when they hit the review section. 10/10 read more

I found J & B Carpets here on Yelp and was very impressed that they had 54 five star reviews! I got three quotes and Vikki's beat the other two by far. We were very impressed with Vikki's warmth and no-nonsense, transparent approach. Many times, business owners will give you a quote and then start doing add ons. Vikki's quote never changed and her crew had our entire home flooring project completed in three and a half days! It looks beautiful! I can't speak on rhe durability yet since it was just put in, however, we believe it is high quality. With prices on most everything out the roof, (thanks, Brandon!), we feel that we got a great value with the all-inclusive pricing of the flooring, moving furniture, labor and the hauling of our old carpet and laminate! Honesty, integrity and old fashioned caring are still in style at J & B Carpets! read more

J & B Carpets - Great room. - Carpeting Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

After numerous attempts to find a provider to install replacement carpet in our architectural offices, I decided to stop into a small local Sunnyslope carpet shop near my office. The owner was immediately helpful and took time to come by and measure everything. Installation was conveniently scheduled over a weekend when our office was closed. The crew arrived and quickly realized the previous installation had used the incorrect glue (i.e. removal turned into a slow moving nightmare). Vikki's answer was to hit the phones and mobilize a huge crew to get the job done. Her team worked many hours longer than they'd anticipated, but turned over a beautiful job. You really can't tell where they seamed in the old vs. new. Such a joy to have everything feel new again! Her mom even brought some amazing (still warm) home baked Greek cookies. This shop a multi-generational enterprise. They sincerely care about their work. We'll never go anywhere else. read more

Vikki & her mom are a-maaazing! Customer service like the good old days. My son and I came in on a Saturday afternoon with no idea what I wanted. I knew I hated what we had (gross carpet) and what we had to work around-- saltillo everywhere else. Vikki listened to our needs (neutral, durable, pet/family-proof) and general budget and then showed us a handful of samples. Maybe other people love to look through all 300 choices, and I'm sure she would have been happy to oblige, but I loved the way she was able to grab a few things that sounded right and start there. We did some like it-don't like it and then got a written quote to take home. It ended up being less than the local big box and there was less-than-zero pressure. When I tried to schedule with one of the 1-800 places they wouldn't even come out to talk to me if my husband wasn't home (i.e. both "decision-makers"). She brought the sample finalists to our house for the final measurements and official choices. Scheduling was easy, laminate was installed within a week and the carpet just after that. In both cases, the installers were on-time, professional, wore masks while working, and finished within a day. Vikki came out herself for the final inspection on both jobs to ensure we were satisfied. She also threw in a custom rug that I got to choose from their big remnants stack. But the real reason I'll recommend them forever is when I texted Vikki on a Sunday morning ONE week after our final carpet installation. Above-mentioned son had a bad run in with drive-in movies, Red Vines, and Strawberry Fanta. Despite not being a business day, she called me back right away and talked me off the ledge. And through the process of painstakingly hand-cleaning our brand new carpet. And it worked! Vikki will forever be our carpet doula. This local, women-owned business wins the day. Thanks, Vikki!! read more

Vikki is going to do a couple things for anyone that walks in the door at J & B Carpets. 1) She is going to listen to you and your needs and offer her expert opinion to make sure you get the right product and install for your living space. 2) Vikki will make you feel like a family friend. We were in a frenzy to find just the right option for our new purchase and needed it installed within a week. Vikki took the time to review all our options and in the end we selected a less expensive alternative. Other flooring companies would force you to their highest priced option, not J & B Carpets. We made a stop here while carpet shopping and found them to be rude and unprofessional. You might be in business for a long time but you don't know how to conduct yourself. We worked with Vikki after we moved into our new home and decided we wanted to replace all our carpeting with vinyl, tile or laminate. We didn't know the pros or cons of each option, nor did we know what color might go well with our existing walkway tile. Vikki was genuinely interested in our best interests, asking for photos of our home, and she helped us find the right product for our needs. She saved us from making a bad decision we almost made where we were about to mix two clashing styles of tile with one another. In the end, we wound up going with wood laminate, and her team of installers got the job done in about 4 days for about 1500 sq. ft. of flooring. We had one room that was particularly tricky because it has a Murphy bed/desk combo and they had to work around it and cut the laminate so it would be flush around it. The important thing is what happens after the installation is done. We found that Vikki stands by her work. Some of the wood laminate had more bounce to it than we expected in the office and the living room. Some of this is just the nature of a "floating floor" like wood laminate, some if it is due to imperfections in the foundation, but Vikki stands by her work and she had her team come back to our place very quickly to address our concerns to our satisfaction. We are happy to recommend Vikki at J&B Carpets! read more

In a nutshell, big job or small job J&B carpet values you and your business. Below is my longer story if you care to see more details: I was looking for a remnant and had been to several other carpet stores. One store, after being there for 30 min and selecting the remnant, literally told me when I got to the register because it was after 3:00pm they couldn't sell it to me. He wanted me to come back the next day. Pretty confusing since the store closed at 5:00pm and even when I explained to him I live 40 miles from the store - have you seen the price of gas? His answer was, "I live just as far and I drive to work everyday" No thank you, I think I'll find a different carpet store to take my business. I stumbled on J&B Carpets after a random internet search. I cannot speak highly enough about this store, even though I only needed an inexpensive remnant the service and help they gave me was above and beyond and I found the perfect remnant for my project. I would highly recommend using J&B -- if this is how they helped me with a very small job, I think it speaks highly for how they treat all their customers. Big or small they value you and your business. read more

When I called about a specific carpet the lady owner, I can't remember her name (Vicki?) said, "no we don't carry that, we can't order it, and good luck finding it, but come down to the store and look, etc." When she realized I was actually serious about this particular carpet after visiting her store, listening to her and her brother try to sell me the other stuff they had on hand- that surely would smell like the god-awful incense they were burning throughout the shop - miraculously I got a call back later that day with, "Oh, good news, we can get that carpet you wanted!" Uh-huh. Right. And the price? Twice as much as another place quoted me (including installation). We could not be happier than our experience with J & B Carpets! We met Vikki the minute we walked into the store. It was clear from the start that she LOVES what she does and she really knows carpet and people!!! She felt like a family friend almost immediately. We wanted to replace our old carpet and Vikki directed us to the perfect choice for our house and us. The spiral staircase and entire upstairs was a good size job. She and Nola came over to our house twice with samples and were so patient and helpful! Once we chose the carpet, setting up the installation was easy. Vikki told us it would be a two day deal and it was. The movers came first thing in the morning and were very efficient. The carpet guys worked all day over the two days. Vikki had the movers back at the end of that second day to finish the job and put all the furniture back. Done--two weeks after walking into the store!
