I just got flooring with Floor Daddy and from start to finish they were there to inform me and help me with my decisions. The workers were polite and on time everyday. I had some issues with my floors and they worked right through the problem and even worked on Sunday to get the job done. Balthazar and his crew were excellent and answered all my questions. Very disappointing experience with Floor Daddy, especially when it comes to customer service and honoring their warranties. Initially, the company was very communicative and responsive throughout the sales and installation process. Unfortunately, that changed significantly once problems developed with the flooring. I found myself constantly following up, asking for updates, and trying to get answers. Looking through other reviews, it appears I'm not the only customer who's experienced this. I began experiencing buckling issues. Floor Daddy sent out a field manager who identified a potential installation issue, and I was initially told the flooring would be repaired under warranty. Months later, after repeated follow-ups, the company reversed its decision the day before work was supposed to start and denied coverage. The contract includes a lifetime installation guarantee, yet the company has failed to adequately explain why it doesn't apply. I've also repeatedly requested the inspection report without receiving a response. Problems can happen with any company, but how they handle those problems speaks volumes. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Floor Daddy. read more

From start to finish, this was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had with a flooring contractor. Corey came to our home to discuss our needs, took careful measurements and worked with my budget to find the best options for us. Their sales guys don't work on commissions so it made for a very easy sales experience. From there, we moved on to Alyssa who was our contact to confirm our date/time/and the carpet we purchased. She was very thorough with her explanations and easy to communicate. She was quick to respond to texts and super helpful throughout the process. Then came our installers, Pedro & Jr. Wow. I couldn't have asked for more thorough, professional, kind, and competent installers. They worked for 1.5 days to get our install done and it was a lot of carpet, including stairs. They did a beautiful job, were incredibly friendly, and honestly, I was kinda sad to see them go as they would have been great neighbors to have on my street. Anyway, throughout the process from the time we signed the contract with Corey to completion with Pedro & Jr, Floor Daddy would send updates and reminders via text that made me feel very confident that I definitely picked the right company to refresh our home. OH--and including in the price is air duct cleaning too because after all this carpet got ripped up, it's 10 years worth of whatever my vacuums didn't pick up that went into the air. Do not Recommend one bit. The company was very responsive during the initial quote and sales process, and scheduling the install was quick, which gave us confidence going in. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. They sent a two-person crew to install carpet in five rooms in one day, and the workmanship reflects that pace. I raised concerns during the install about the transitions and how the carpet was "tucked," but those concerns were not properly addressed. After the crew left, I moved a couch back into place and discovered areas where the carpet had been snagged. It actually made sense in hindsight why they kept asking if I wanted extra carpet pieces. The following day, a QA supervisor, David, showed up unannounced while our home was being painted. I showed him what I could, and he agreed that the work was not up to standard and shouldn't look the way it does. Since then, communication has been extremely disappointing. I was told someone would reach out to get us scheduled for repairs, but as of 3/25, I've received no follow-up. I've called and texted multiple times with no response and still have not been scheduled. At this point, the biggest issue isn't just the poor workmanship, it's the lack of accountability and follow-through. It shouldn't take this much effort to have a job done correctly the first time, or to have issues resolved afterward. read more

It is now 1028, and I have not heard from them. I called the manager and received no phone call back. And was unable to reach and had to leave a message if you're looking for a flooring project , I suggest you look somewhere else other than floor daddy. great sales pitch , but it doesn't match the follow through. even the salesperson that I texted to reach back out to me , never responded. read more

The representative I spoke with quickly scheduled a home visit to discuss what I was looking for, go over pricing, and assess the scope of work. When Jed arrived, he was friendly, professional, and best of all, he didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics. The quality and price were exactly what I wanted, so I signed the contract. My carpet arrived quickly, and scheduling installation was effortless. Jed provided all the information I needed to prepare and then passed me over me to Javier, who handled the installation process. I was blown away by how easy they made everything. All I had to do was move my electronics and small items. Floor Daddy's team took care of all the heavy lifting, including tables, chairs, couches, beds, and more. This was a godsend, especially since I had the carpet replaced throughout my entire home and I live alone. On installation day, the team arrived on time and were both friendly and professional. I hung out in the backyard just in case they needed anything, but they handled everything seamlessly. They completed all five rooms (and closets) in about six hours, put all my furniture back exactly where it belonged, vacuumed, and left the area spotless. We love the end result but there were a few hiccups. We got carpet in most of the house which requires a huge amount of work and inconvenience to move so much stuff out of the way. There was only a two person crew which guaranteed it was a two day job instead of a one day install. The crew was great and they worked really hard. Communication is next to nonexistent. My husband had to call 4 times to report our problems. The first time someone was supposed to come, no one showed up, and we were not contacted. A person came, unannounced, to fix the issues. He did not fix all the issues. We had to call again. No one called us back. The floor in the bedroom is uneven. Are they ever going to fix it? I found out from my brother-in-law (who has done flooring for over 40 years) that there is a 30mil weight that they recommend for people with wheelchairs. That option wasn't even presented to us. Now the financing has become a problem. It's supposed to be no payments for 3 years. They are requesting a payment of over $600 a month. read more

I just don't get it. Floor Daddy gets great reviews on Yelp and Google. But for whatever reason my job just went sideways from bad to worse. I guess it really boils down to the worker that actually shows up. I saw a lot of poor workmanship and shortcuts that floor Daddy had to come back later to fix. And floor daddy had to hire an outside contractor to come repair the damage done to linoleum I was keeping because that one guy pushed furniture back and forth across the floor that was not being torn up. The only floors being replaced were the living room, a small front room, and a small bathroom. It took the guy over a week and a half. The job could have easily be done in 4 days tops with a work crew of two to even three people. Instead with only one guy showing up. Occasionally a second would 1 or 2 of those days. One day he didn't show up till after 2:00 in the afternoon. After all that Floor Daddy had to come back to finish sloppy work. And they had to hire an outside contractor to repair the damage to the linoleum floors that I kept. It was close to a month before I had a completed job. The floors look great now, but with a bitter taste in my mouth about it. I still think they're a good company. They were not happy seeing that workers shortcuts and mistakes. And they did their best to fix those repairs to make sure I was happy. But to be honest when people ask me about my floors I'm not going to recommend them. read more

I give an A+ to the flooring installers. They did a great job and were very polite and friendly. I give a C- for customer service. Sergio told me I could buy new toilets and they would install them. Friday at 1:00pm Cheryl called and said they would only install the same exact toilets. I had to pay $300 for a plumber. I didn't appreciate her telling me to have my husband put the toilets in for me. Very condescending! I had my flooring scheduled for over a month only to be told they couldn't do it and wanted to push it back further. That wasn't possible for me so they did get the guys here a few days later. In closing I would recommend Floor Daddy because my flooring is beautiful but buyer beware when they make promises they may not keep. read more

I'm sorry but our experience was pretty bad. Floor Daddy was recommended to us by the owner of a local mattess store, so we scheduled an appointment. When I spoke to the lady who scheduled the appointment I told her we wanted nylon or Triesta carpets, and that we don't want polyester. She told me that was 'no problem' and that they have a lot of nylon carpets to choose from. We received multiple reminders about our appointment. The day of our appointment we got a call that we would have to reschedule our appointment, due to illness. It was moved back by 3 hours that day, with a different salesperson. Our sales guy, Rob Personale, arrived at noon and he was great! Friendly and knowledgeable, but when we mentioned we wanted to see nylon carpet he looked really disappointed and said Floor Daddy doesn't carry nylon carpet. So, we wasted several days waiting for Floor Daddy, and waited several hours that day. I would hope that the person scheduling the appointments would know what type of carpets they actually carry. I'd give the salesperson a 5, but I'd give the business a 1 for wasting our time. read more

He came on Tuesday and we got contract signed. Installers did an awesome job and came Friday morning and stayed and finished the job working well into the evening. Since the start of my job, communication, attention to detail and workmanship have continued to be issues. Timelines given were not adhered to, wrong materials were ordered and we had to point out the errors. Project manager did not oversee daily work. After 3 days work when he did arrive only 100 sq ft of tile was laid. PM did say it was unacceptable and said if they could work Saturday he would have additional men and make up time. PM stated master bedroom and closet would be completed in three days. It is now 9 days and its still not completed. Now baseboards can't be installed because according to installer the gap is too large and inconsistent. Now with latest issue installer said work is pending. Our closet guide hardware isn't installed tilers told us they don't do that baseboard installer said he doesn't. Who does? There are many issues that we have encountered. We also moved all furniture initially so work would not be delayed. The communication and workmanship is subpar. This truly is the worst experience. I am a disabled retired veteran and I always try to support veteran owned companies due to military instilled integrity this is not at all the experience I expected to have. read more

Our new non-slip flooring is both safe and beautiful. The experience overall was very good. However, problems occurred when small things were noticed and needing addressing following the main project. It was very difficult at that point to communicate with anyone at FloorDaddy. Messages weren't answered, no-one answered the phone, etc. At the moment, we've been waiting 5 or 6 weeks for a technician to return to our house to replace two damaged planks that we didn't initially notice. When you pay thousands of dollars for luxury flooring, you expect better customer service. read more
