Zona Floors just replaced the flooring in my whole house. Tom and Dally first came out to measure and bring samples. Both were great and answered all of my questions. They even allowed me to keep the sample for about a week so I could make sure that was the color that I really liked. Pablo, Jose and the rest of the install crew were awesome as well. They were careful when moving my furniture, and did a great job with the demo and install of the flooring and install of the new baseboards. Communication was excellent from start to finish with both sales and install. I would definitely recommend Zona Floors to anyone looking at a flooring remodel. I love my new floors. read more

I had a bad experience with Zona Floors. In May 2024, this company installed compressed cardboard as premium laminate flooring. The only care instruction was to avoid using steam. When I use a damp cloth or mop, the coloring rubs off. That made wearing white socks a laundry-day nightmare. I tried to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer suggested that I file a claim. When I contacted Zona Floors about a claim, they never returned my calls. read more

I wish I could leave a better review for this company. At first, I wasn't planning to write a negative one because they seemed to be trying to fix their mistakes. It even felt like Tom and Abraham genuinely cared about making things right for us as customers. However, once the crew who installed our tile realized how much needed to be repaired, they suddenly stopped and started pushing back on coming back to finish the job. We're now expected to live in our home with concrete floors again, with plastic everywhere, after just moving in and trying to settle into our new house. If you are going to come back and fix your mistakes, at least make sure your company has enough people and time set aside before getting started. We would have been more than happy to wait a couple of weeks instead of having work start, stop for a week at a time, and then being left to live in a home that's torn apart. The crew told us their supervisor said there were only "a couple" of cracked tiles. Abraham and his son both came out and counted them, and there were at least 50 cracked tiles from the metal spacers that had been used. They should have been more transparent with the crew they sent out. The crew that installed our tiles tried to hide cracked tiles caused by the metal spacers they used, even though we provided plastic spacers. We even saw Antonio pull out a metal spacer with pliers, which cracked a tile. He said he would replace it, so we assumed they were fixing damaged tiles as they went. Later, we discovered silicone patches covering cracked tiles, which felt very deceptive. When we reported this to Zona Floors, they sent the same crew back, even though our trust in them was already gone. Now we feel like we have to inspect every tile they install just to make sure the work is being done honestly. Another issue is the mess they leave behind, especially during the demo a couple of weeks before Christmas. It honestly felt dehumanizing. They even left exposed carpet tack strips in my 13-year-old and 4-year-old sons' bedrooms leading into their bathrooms. We had just moved here from another state and were trying to settle into our new home, and instead I was left sweeping dust and debris throughout the entire house. Dust was everywhere, and I even had to wipe down the walls myself. I was crying while trying to clean it all up. It felt like we were completely overlooked as people, with no empathy or consideration for being left to live with concrete subfloors. We even provided plastic and our own shop vacuum to help control the grout dust. They knew they wouldn't be coming back for a couple of weeks because our tile couldn't be delivered in time, but they still couldn't take the extra time to make sure their job site was cleaned up before leaving. Given the amount of money we paid, and the great reviews we saw from others, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I truly hope Zona floors takes this feedback seriously and works with us to make this situation right. It's not acceptable to leave a family living in a home mid-construction, to stop work halfway, and leave the job unfinished. read more

Update: After my review, the owner Tom reached out and met with me in person. He listened carefully, acknowledged the problems, and worked with me to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. He also explained that they are using this as a company‑wide teaching moment so the same mistakes do not happen on future jobs. Because of how the issues were ultimately handled, I'm updating this review to 4 stars. I hired this company through Angi for a marble backsplash installation and was very disappointed with the workmanship and oversight. The tile installer used oversized drywall screws to mount my outlets instead of proper #6‑32 machine screws, stripping the threads in multiple electrical boxes and even cracking some of them (see photos). They also grouted the joint between the countertop and backsplash instead of using the color‑matched silicone caulk I provided, contrary to industry guidelines for movement joints. I repeatedly had to point out these issues and even show NEC references on my phone before they acknowledged the problems. I would have preferred to let this go, but the combination of unsafe electrical practices and resistance to basic standards is troubling. Future customers should be aware and consider using a contractor who follows electrical code and tile best practices. read more

I'd have given Zona 5 stars for the incredible flooring job, and then 10 stars after tonight's disaster. Tom was quick to respond, reasonably priced, and his crew was extremely professional and fast. The floors are stunning. 2 days after they finished, my bathroom floods. I call in a panic just asking for advice, letting them know that a valve broke off. Abraham and Yineli drove over an hour to get here at 9PM to help out with the floors. Or so I thought, they also brought plumbing tools and valves in hand. Abraham changed out 3 corroded valves for me and made sure the water was under control until the plumber could come tomorrow without asking for anything. I wasn't planning on getting a shower today after a hard day's work, and an exhausting and emotional night of thinking my new floors were ruined. Instead, I just took a hot shower and I feel confident that even if there is a small moisture issue, that I have the right team behind me to make sure these floors last. ZONA FLOORS were RE-DOING my neighbor's flooring that some in-experienced Handyman did! Not only did they do an amazing job, but they had to go in and level the whole place before they could lay the flooring! At the end of the day everything is super neat, no garbage anywhere and they completed the 1100 entire sq. ft. condo in only ONE DAY! The carpet in my daughter's bedroom had gotten quite worn, so I decided to replace it with LVP flooring. I read reviews of flooring companies online, and picked 3 to come out and give me an estimate. The estimate from Zona was the lowest, so I decided to go with them. Zona was very professional and easy to deal with, from scheduling the estimate to scheduling the installation to taking care of payment. Zona Floors just completed our large library room using large 10" x 60" porcelain tile. We supplied all the materials and they cut and installed all the tile. Our installer was Nicolas and he was excellent and followed our pattern requirements and installed some travertine pieces also!
