First the good: The installers were great. Very polite, hard working and excellent quality workmanship. Also, the job was easy to schedule and completed on time. What could have been better: I wish Dave would have educated us on which flooring product to pick. We picked a wood laminate flooring just based on the color samples he showed us. I later learned from the installers that almost no one uses this type of flooring anymore and everyone is going with vinyl plank flooring. The laminate is loud to walk on. You hear our dogs walk across the room in the middle of the night. Also, you can feel some give in the floor, which makes the floors feel cheap (not high end). At the end of the day, the service was good, but overall we are not the happy with our new floors. If I had gotten more than one estimate, I probably would have learned about the different types of flooring. Unfortunately, I went with the only bid I got because Becks had such good reviews on Yelp. One more thing...Dave was not here for the install, which was fine, but I would have thought that he or Misty would call after the job to see if we were happy. Misty and her talented and skillful professionals were just awesome to work with. Misty was so expeditious and helpful when it came to telling us how much material to buy for our 2 bathroom showers which we had her team completely revamp in their entirety. We had minimal leftover materials to speak of. From day one when "Guy" and "Micheal" first showed up, my wife and I could immediately tell these two guys were quite experienced. In fact, we all became good friends during the 2 weeks they had spent on our projects. One bathroom had 2' x 4" tiles and the other bathroom had 12" x 24" tiles installed. I wanted a family owned flooring company to replace our flooring. Dave and Misty's were wonderful to work with. Santiago replaced our flooring with a SPC vinyl plank and he left daily cleaning up, laying the planks very well, and took his time to do it right. Julian and George replaced our carpet with new carpet in bedrooms and also did a very good job. I would highly recommend Beck's Floor Installations out of Mesa to anyone. Highly recommend this company - they were cheaper than a flooring retail store that I visited, and super reliable and communicative. I had carpets replaced in a new home and timing was tricky between the close and the furniture arrival, and they were able to install the carpets within the narrow window I had. We had a situation in that we needed an installer quickly. The person we had originally hired did not show up. We called Misty on Friday and she gave us a detailed bid of every thing they would have to do. We had already purchased our laminate and and new baseboard. Dave and Troy showed up the next day and got our great room, kitchen, and entry done. The came back on Labor day and Tuesday to finish the floor. We still had to stain and put polyurethane on the baseboards. Dave and Troy returned on Monday as planned and finished the job. They worked quickly and were very professional and friendly. We would hire them in a flash the next time we need flooring. Since we have rentals that may be sooner rather than later. The flooring looks great. Wow! This company did a great job! They installed 1500SF of luxury vinyl plank (entire house) and new base boards. The crew was great to work with and very professional. They were very particular about the quality of installation! They used Paradigm flooring which is great quality compared to some other brands that we looked at. Most impressive was that the interlocking parts of Paradigm flooring are durable and won't break off. Some other brands we looked at could be broken off with a small amount of pressure. This has to be one of the best experiences!! I was looking to have some laminate put down and I found Beck's on Yelp. They had great reviews so I gave them a call. Misty came right out with samples and gave me a very detailed quote. I was putting laminate down in my kitchen and bathrooms. I later decided to have my stairs done also. Misty came right over and we updated the quote and scheduled the date. The original plan was to tear up the tile and put the flooring down but Dave found that it was taking up the fire wall. He called me to discuss and he was able to put down over the tile. Dave and Troy worked very hard and the results show. My floors and stairs look amazing!!!! Thank you all for this great experience.
