The appointment time came and I did think it odd that I didn't get a reminder text/call but I started waiting for the tech to show up and about 20 mins after their scheduled arrival I called and they didn't have record of my appointment. They said they would look into it and contact me back. They called about 30 minutes later to say they never had an appointment listed but their tech could come out in the afternoon. Luckily I work from home so I said that would work. When the tech showed up he said he was new and forgot to put my name on the appointment book but confirmed it was him that I originally talked to. He did his measurements and said he would get right back to me with the quotes. That was on Friday -- I did finally hear back from him on Monday afternoon. The quote is pretty competitive but since I didn't hear right back from him I am getting a couple of more quotes now. I will update my review if I decided to go with Roadrunner but so far not that impressed.

Not only were they able to duplicate the irregular shape, but they did it in a matter of minutes while I waited. They even polished a chip in the edge of my sample shelf. We had significant water damage throughout our home, and R&M Construction handled the entire…read morerebuild from start to finish. The scope covered walls, ceilings, insulation, electrical, plumbing, AC, flooring installation, carpet, and paint, essentially half of our house. We got five bids for the job, and R&M came in lower than the other four. They did an excellent job on all of it. Ramiro was great to work with. On a job this large, things change and new issues come up along the way, and he was flexible with us every single time. There was also an insurance claim involved, which meant a lot of extra detail and documentation on top of the actual construction work. He gladly provided everything we needed, every time we asked, and never treated it as an inconvenience. That made a genuinely stressful process much easier to manage. Rafa, our project manager, was our day-to-day on site and was outstanding. He was attentive, there consistently, and always responsive when we had questions or added something to the punch list. He never made us feel like we were bothering him and stayed on top of the details all the way through closeout. We were displaced to an Airbnb during the rebuild, which means we trusted this crew in our home while we weren't there. Everyone was friendly, courteous, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. More than one crew member told us they just wanted to make sure it was done the right way, and you could see that in the finished work. They went above and beyond on everything we needed. We'll be using them again for our next project without hesitation. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Christy Windows back in February, some five months ago, to have three windows…read morereplaced in my townhome in Tempe. The proprietor, Matt, and I agreed upon a price, and was told he'd take measurements before installation. Since then, I've received texts about unexpected delays, both professional and personal, with assurances that the windows will indeed be installed once all these events subside. From March through June, I followed up and followed up, only to receive excuses/explanations about this or that unforeseen event that hasn't allowed him to complete installation, but not to worry, it will get done. After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. After all this time, I get neither an installation nor even the courtesy of a phone call to explain why. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is the few times I actually spoke to Matt, he was polite. So, I give him a star for that. But he sure didn't fulfill his promise, and there's no reason to treat customers this way.

I needed a day/time pinned down so I asked for more specifics. We settled on the day and time. When the day arrived he wrote early saying he had car trouble and other work to do and had to cancel. He said he would follow up with us the following week . The week goes by and no contact. This is not a good way to conduct business. By then I decided to contact another contractor who was available and interested. The work has been completed by another contractor.
