Jesse was super responsive to our request and messaged with questions to help determine the scope of the work. He sent a quote and came in person to assess. They were able to start the project quickly. Kept us informed. Trustworthy guys, on some days we were away from our house and we felt comfortable not being home while they were here. The fireplace remodel looks great! It was a tricky project with re-sizing the hearth. Patching floor tiles with what we had available since original tile was no longer available. Bonus points for loving on our two elderly dogs who kept them company for the week+ of work. Our daughter actually used him first for work at her house and when we needed a handy man she told us about her great experience with these guys. To be honest, our daughter is pretty persnickety so since she referred them was a ringing endorsement. Made an appointment nearly a month in advance day one asked for my address set on a date time price everything sounded great 2 hours before my appointment after I've rescheduled my whole day around it calls me and says I just noticed your 2 hours away I can't go to you . Three stars since they ghosted us - twice. The first time I followed up when they left us hanging, told them it looked like they were too busy to take on our multi part job. That prompted them to come out to get measurements and scope of work. Really nice guys, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They took notes and said they would email us the bid. Nothing. Crickets. So after a week I contacted them. More apologies, and said they'd follow up - they are just super slammed. Ok... Never heard from them again. I'm ok with people not wanting to bid a job (cabinet install. 3 rooms, replace door jamb, replace window, shelving, create an AC cover, and possibly add a wall to separate a room) , I'm ok if you are too busy to do the job - but let me know so I can find someone to do the work needed. WOW!!!! What can I even begin to say about Jesse and ND Construction???? Let's start with his quote. He had my drywall repair quoted in less than 5 minutes after I sent the initial message. Now the work. He came out the same day I called him, removed the damaged drywall, replaced the drywall and insulation, textured, got the paint matched, and then painted the whole thing!! He was VERY competitive and blew the competition quotes out of the water. He is VERY fair and honest, and communication is top notch.
