Kurt responded quickly to my inquiry and has very reasonable prices! Originally, he wasn't able to squeeze me in last minute, but he promised to keep me posted in case his current jobs changed at all. Luckily for me, they did, so he was able to help me out the following week. In just 6 hours Kurt: hung a decorative mirror, hung two pieces of artwork, trimmed 4 bar stools, hung a bathroom shelf, robe hook, toilet paper holder, a towel rack, a set of curtains in master, fixed my laundry room door, and replaced a light fixture in my master closet. After visiting 3 different hardware stores trying to find a special piece to a fluorescent light in the closet, he suggested replacing the whole fixture, as replacing it was $30 whereas the special piece was $50 online. When I asked him if he could install it that day or would have to come back, he replied, "I can't leave you with a dark closet!" He went back to the store one last time to purchase a new fixture and installed it within the hour! I can actually see now when I'm getting dressed! It was so convenient to have someone with all the right tools who could make all the Home Depot runs to get what I needed. What would have taken me multiple weekends and several hours, took Kurt less than a full day. I will definitely be using him again. The price is worth well worth it! read more

Kurt built and installed a hallway shoe/coat storage bench and a few light fixtures for me. I have to say, his patience legendary. The storage bench came damaged, but be recommended a MacGuiver level solution this was beautiful. Then one of the light fixture had a broken string of beads and while I diy'ed a fix, he was right there to assist. Definitely my go-to handyman! Oh, and when I hired him to hang shelves in my kids (4 and 8 yo) rooms, and they wanted to help him, he patiently explained what he was doing, why and let them help with a few of the easier steps. read more

I've used Kurt for 2 different projects: 1) Hang a new chandelier in our dining room which has 12 foot ceilings. 2) Install a water line for a 2nd refrigerator. In both cases, he provided accurate quotes for the work beforehand, arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up when done. I greatly appreciated that Kurt offered 2 options for the water line, and the more affordable option worked well. The creative problem solving and honesty was much appreciated and saved us money. I'm sure we'll be using Kurt for more home projects! read more

Kurt is super polite, responsive, and does a great job! I hired him to mount a tv, fix a closet rack, install a new electrical outlet, and partially paint my bathroom. Everything was completed neatly and efficiently, with minimal disruption. I found his pricing to be fair and affordable. From the first time I contacted Kurt, I felt like he really wanted to earn my trust. He patiently answered my questions and asked me questions that others didn't - which showed me he cared about getting it right. I've already asked him to come back for additional work, so I think that says it all. Kurt was the 3rd handyman I contacted but I highly recommend you call him first! read more

We highly recommend Xtreme Home Services for any project you need completed. Kurt has been to our house for two separate jobs to finish up installing new items in our bathroom. Kurt is 'Xtremely' professional and returned every call in a very timely manner. He is 'Xtremely' knowledgeable and every thing he does is done 'Xtremely' well and with great care to detail. We called Kurt after reading all the great reviews and are 'Xtremely' happy to find someone we can trust, is so professional and affordable. We are adding to our 'Needs to Get Fix' list for our house that is 20+ years old. The list is quite long but now we know who to call to finally get it all done! read more

Let me first state that I rarely give anyone/anything 5 stars. However, Xtreme Home Services warrants such a review. I initially had him come to give a quote for an issue for my 77 year old mom. I liked him so much, I had him come to our home that we just purchased in northeast Mesa. He's on time, does excellent work and works efficiently. Kurt is excellent at diagnosing and repairing or upgrading what you want or need. Now, that being said, don't steal him away from us. read more

Kurt can do everything, and if he doesn't have time to do it himself, he can refer out to top-notch people that he has vetted over many years. We first called him to look at a simple project- one of many we were planning on for a total home renovation. His knowledge and communication skills were so impressive that we ended up using him and his contacts for every project in the house- flooring (we tore out the old rug and tile and put in wood-like porcelain), new rugs, new paint, cabinet upgrades, and countless smaller projects. He fixed our gate, hung up a heavy art piece, and cleaned our pool. Before, Jeff and I were always complaining about everything that was broken or ugly in the house. Now, we walk around admiring every detail. We highly recommend using Xtreme Home Services. Thank you Kurt!! read more

Kurt was very easy to work with. Very honest and professional! He kept me updated during the quote process and during the installation. (I had him install an electric car charger that required the installation of a sub panel on the breaker box as well.) He even finished a day earlier than he originally quoted which was great! I will call him for future projects recommend him to anyone who asks. read more

Kurt is one of the good ones. I needed help getting some chores done around my parents' home, and called Xtreme. Kurt, the owner, responded quickly to my query, and was professional and friendly. He explained that he does most all of the work requests himself, and for larger jobs, has a cadre of professional, licensed plumbers, contractors, and others that he can bring in if necessary. Kurt was able to handle the work I requested plus was able to take care of more things at my parents' request on the the same day I called. My parents said he was "totally awesome" and were so happy they asked him for business cards to hand out to their friends AND sent him home with homemade biscotti. Big smiles all around. Kurt is now our "go-to" handyman, and he should be yours, too. read more

I am extremely happy that I hired this company. I found them here on Yelp as I needed to get a variety of jobs done on my rental property right before the tenants moved in now in mid-September. The owner Kurt was always straightforward, puntual, with good communication and offered me fair prices for each job. Each job was done right including plumbing work, electrical, drywall, installation of light fixtures and ceiling fans. This built my trust in this company so I am looking forward to do more work with them. Kurt was able to finalize everything before the tenants moved in as planned. He has been a real estate investor himself so he understood my concerns and always provided great recommendations. This company can do a great variety of jobs so it feels great to have a company like this available as soon as I need them. Highly recommended. read more

I recently had an issue with a GFCI outlet and an irrigation electrical problem. I reached out to Xtreme Home Services and received a prompt response from Kurt. He was able to get me on his schedule quickly. 1. He was on time (always a good sign) 2. He spent the time to explain to me what he was doing and why 3. I paid far less than I had anticipated I would for the two jobs I needed done. I have thought of quite a few more items I would like to knock off my list this year and know exactly who I will be calling to get them done. I highly recommend Kurt and Xtreme Home Services! Thanks Kurt! read more

Kurt was awesome! We had been wanting to replace our kitchen sink and faucet but multiple plumbing companies declined to do the tough job as they were concerned about the difficulty in removing the cast iron unit which was built in to the cabinetry under a Corian countertop. Kurt wanted a day or two think it over and conceptualize how to do the job. Sure enough, a few days later he gave us a quote that was within our budget and we schedule the job for the next week. He was super professional and did an exceptional job with the removal and installation of the new unit. Thanks for all your help, Kurt, and we look forward to working with you in the future on some other projects around the house. read more

The positive reviews are legit- Kurt installed our kitchen sink and faucet and did a great job. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable and a heck of alot cheaper than a plumber. We won't hesitate to use Kurt again! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things, Kurt first responded to my quote request within minutes asking for a picture of the leak from my water heater hose. He was very upfront about the cost which was a lower quote then the other 8 company's that responded to my request. Also let me know what complications that could occur and what would then have to be done. The hose was replaced and all was right within 3 hours of my initial quote request. I will definitely give him repeat buisness in the future as well as recommending him to everyone else! read more
