Dror is awesome! Prior to calling Dror, I purchased a used 48" hood/vent combo and did not really know much about what I purchased. I had a few people quote the installation of my 48" vent hood and 'chimney'. Dror had competitive pricing. On top of pricing - he was the ONLY person to bring up certain pieces of the project I did not consider. Specifically the 'chimney' and hood I purchased was too tall/long for my 8' ceilings. Dror called this out during the quoting process and mentioned he would be able to cut the chimney I provided to fit the height I requested (see the left over metal chimney on my counter). During the install, Dror also noticed the commercial motor I provided was meant for a top of roof vent, and would not work for the side of house vent I needed - as it would have been a fire hazard due to what is behind my wall and the original motor would drawn wayy too much power from the kitchen. Dror was able to customize and use a different motor to ensure the vent would work safely and draw a standard amount of power. I am very happy i went with Dror, as he: -centered the vent above the oven -ensured the vent is level -Ran electric through the wall to hide the power cables -Installed the vent 3' above the oven -custom cut the 'chimney' -patched the drywall afterwards -Reconfigured the motor -ensured/tested the motor/lights/vent after installation Thanks Dror! read more

He came out fast and was nice when I met him. He quoted me on three things. I also asked him for prices that excluded painting because I can paint pretty well myself and I have paint. He gave me the prices and then he completely ignored me. I was able to get someone from taskrabbit to replace the light fixture for about 30 bucks less than his quote. I got a drywall contractor to do the work for 200 less than he quoted. The door replacement is about 300 bucks less than he quoted directly from home depot via the licensed company they work with... and taskrabbit quoted me 500 less than he did. So I guess it worked out for the both of us. Seems like a nice guy and I wish him well. Minus a star for ignoring me and minus a star for prices being pricier than contracted companies. read more

My outside yard gate had warped over time so became almost impossible to open and shut. No one else seemed to know how to fix it, but Dror came out the very next day and worked until the job was completed. He changed out the metal jamb, fixed the broken lock, then painted the new material to match the old. Dror came by within hours of me calling to look at a non-functioning bathroom exhaust fan. He took the unit apart and diagnosed the problem, determining the fan itself was functioning and it was a power issue that he was able to fix. I happened to be on the internet looking at metal gate contractors for an outside metal gate that was rubbing against the frame and difficult to close, and I asked him about that as well. He had the equipment and the parts on his truck to add a new hinge (including welding) to prop up the gate where it was sagging. Overall a great experience. I needed to have the exhaust fan in my upstairs bathroom replaced/repaired and screening added to where it vents to the roof. Another repairman I've used before took a look at it and was stumped on what to do, because the fan box was round instead of square. The other guy couldn't figure out what to do, so my fan was out of service for about 8 months. After my first call to Dror, I sent him a few pictures of the fan by text message so he knew what he was dealing with. Dror stopped by the day after my initial phone call to look at the fan and called me the next morning when he had the replacement motor. He was there that same afternoon to repair the fan and install the screening. He was fast and friendly and his fee was extremely reasonable.
