We were still undecided when we received a call from Jake, the owner of Modern Resolution. He answered some questions we had from his sales rep's presentation and decided it would be best for him to see our house to respond to a couple of concerns we had. We did research and found that the Anlin windows he proposed were highly rated. Jake gave us a good price and we signed a contract. We had a very short delay in getting our windows installed due to the end of the year holidays. The install went well. It was very impressive how hard the installers worked. They were on time every day and were very careful of not damaging anything in our home, including the floor. Per Jake's recommendation, we had a combination of retrofit and new windows installed. The new windows required chopping out some stucco. After those windows were installed, new stucco was put on immediately. Modern Resolution had a great employee named Luis paint all of the new stucco. That was one of the reasons we went with Modern Resolution as most other window companies we spoke with said we were responsible for any painting required after the install. We had a couple of small issues, such as a bathroom screen missing. (it was found in the warehouse behind a box) but Jake always took care of those in a timely fashion. We were shocked how much outside noise was reduced by our new windows and sliders along with the utility savings! Also, it was surprising how nice the windows looked from the inside. If we would have known what a great job we would get from Modern Resolution, we would have replaced our windows much sooner! Thank you, Jake!

I learned my HOA required one additional window to be replaced (entire sides of the house had to be done at a time). I asked them to come out and measure that additional window and collect payment. I called and emailed for weeks and the sales person finally got back asking if the owner got in touch with me. I am nearly 5 months in and I cannot get them to respond to email or phone calls and now have to chase them down through the credit card company. The framing was sloppy, out of plumb, and required a ton of rework to finish the work on the interior. The attitude from the second crew was poor. However, the first crew did marvelous work and cleaned up after themselves. So, it really depends on who is sent out. Hit or miss.

We got great vibes from him then and knew we would want them to do the job when we had the funds. Very chill, not at all pushy. We called him back up a few months ago and he came back out to double check measurements and while understandably prices had rose somewhat, we felt he did everything he could to try and stay as close as possible to the original quote total. Seth and his crew came out and did the job over 2 days. They were on time, pleasant, clean, and did great work. Seth pointed out a flaw in a couple of the window panes and said he was submitting a claim to get replacement parts so they would be perfect (and honestly, we would have never even noticed the issue). They respected our property by taking great care to protect anything that might have got damaged during install, they ensured all their work space was spotless upon leaving and they didn't try to rush through the job to get it done it one day. On top of that they adjusted my patio door to swing more freely without me asking them and did it free of charge. Their work was meticulous, every joint and corner of the window trim inside and out was perfectly sealed and trimmed and they cleaned the windows leaving them spotless. Through the finish walkthrough they pointed out a very discrete scratch on a window pane that I wouldn't have ever seen and they insisted to take care of it through the Milgard warranty. Just another huge plus. To say the least I'm very thankful I hired Tracer Window and Door to take care of this big project. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows.
