We originally got a quote from Chris at Tracer a couple years back, but weren't ready to move forward on the project budget wise. We got great vibes from him then and knew we would want them to do the job when we had the funds. Very chill, not at all pushy. We called him back up a few months ago and he came back out to double check measurements and while understandably prices had rose somewhat, we felt he did everything he could to try and stay as close as possible to the original quote total. Seth and his crew came out and did the job over 2 days. They were on time, pleasant, clean, and did great work. Seth pointed out a flaw in a couple of the window panes and said he was submitting a claim to get replacement parts so they would be perfect (and honestly, we would have never even noticed the issue). I've been in the market for new windows to replace the windows my house was built with (very thin late 80s single panes) and got three different quotes before I contacted Tracer Window. When Chris from Tracer came over I knew immediately he wasn't a typical sales guy telling me what I wanted to hear. I can smell b/s from a mile away and it does nothing but drive me to find someone else. Chris was objective and honest and gave me a good list of pros and cons and enough information to decided not to install a $10,000 three pane sliding glass door that I thought I was set on. That alone sold me that I could trust Tracer to do the job. The quote came out very fair and Chris gave me the confidence that they would be installed professionally and meticulously. I just had the windows installed and completed this week and couldn't be happier with the job. The team of window installers blew us away with their customer service and professionalism. They respected our property by taking great care to protect anything that might have got damaged during install, they ensured all their work space was spotless upon leaving and they didn't try to rush through the job to get it done it one day. On top of that they adjusted my patio door to swing more freely without me asking them and did it free of charge. Their work was meticulous, every joint and corner of the window trim inside and out was perfectly sealed and trimmed and they cleaned the windows leaving them spotless. Through the finish walkthrough they pointed out a very discrete scratch on a window pane that I wouldn't have ever seen and they insisted to take care of it through the Milgard warranty. Just another huge plus. To say the least I'm very thankful I hired Tracer Window and Door to take care of this big project. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows. Just had 6 windows replaced by this company and the experience was great! Chris came out to talk over prices with me and was great about not trying to sell me on anything I didn't want. After that they sent out another person to double check their measurements and the windows took about a month to be made & delivered. The installation team led by Seth was great about letting me know when they would arrive and worked very quickly. No cussing, no smoking, and no mess left. Seth was great about showing me any flaws they had to work around (my window openings weren't all level) and explaining the features of the windows. After they were done Chris came by a few hours later to inspect the job and to see if I was happy. All in all I would recommend this company to anyone to at least check out. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRACER WINDOW & DOOR!! FANTASTIC Window Company!! Honest, Reliable, Knowledgeable, Conscientious, Superior Workmanship, Extremely Clean, Competitive Pricing... I could go on and on. Chris and his crew did a fantastic job installing 13 large New Milgard Ultra Nail Fin Windows and Converted two Large Milgard Ultra Arcadia Doors from Flush Fin to Nail Fin. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience with another Window Company we hired to install 14 Windows and two Arcadia doors two years ago (Milgard Ultra windows and doors). That company measured ALL the windows wrong and destroyed our home installing them improperly. They refused to correct their mistake and make it right. We recovered some of the money from the ROC although the final awarded amount was short many thousands of dollars needed for a proper fix. We interviewed over a dozen window companies to do the job right. No one was comfortable taking on our job because of the damage that was done from the previous company. Chris was concerned too but, he was willing to take on the challenge. He went above and beyond to research what was needed to do the job right which required properly sized windows, removing all the retro fit windows, cutting out the old damaged window frames, repairing the damaged/missing moisture barrier as well as cutting out two Large Arcadia Doors and convert them from Flush Fin Doors to Nail Fin. This all required cutting out Stucco and Drywall. Although his company did not do the Stucco and Drywall repair, he helped us find someone that did a good job. Chris sized all the windows correctly and his Crew took great care with the new windows. They were very careful removing the old windows so not to cause a lot of damage, very carefully installed the new windows, making sure EVERY window and DOOR was installed level and square. They cleaned up each day before leaving so they did not leave a mess behind. They were very kind and respectful. And the price was very reasonable. Fantastic Window Company !!! We loved our Milgard Replacement Windows we had installed in our previous home and knew we had to replace the existing ones in the new home we purchased a year ago. It seemed like fate when we received a flyer from Tracer Windows inside that huge envelope of business offers you get in the mail every so often. Tracer was having a Sale/Promotion at a substantial discount. I thought I would get an estimate from Tracer and from K & J Windows who did our old house and see who could give us the best deal. Tracer obviously won the biding contest. Now the question was could they match the craftsmanship of K & J Windows. The answer is "Yes". Tracers installers were equally gifted. We are absolutely pleased with the quality and performance of these Windows. These Fiberglass ones are a step up from the vinyl ones we had in our old house and we immediately noticed a marked decrease in how often our air conditioning comes on and the duration it runs. Super impressed with the noticeable reduction in felt heat coming in through the Windows. Once again very pleased with our Milgard Windows and we didn't have to have a second Mortgage to get them like the other company that everyone knows is 5-10 times more expensive.
