JM Custom Iron Work was the only gate manufacturer that said they could provide the cast-iron ornamentation (standard 5-pointed stars) I wanted, or they would MAKE them if they weren't available. Jaun and his staff were flexible when the gates needed modification due to my requested changes and delivered the gates when promised, not a day later! Without a doubt - high quality materials and workmanship! Fit-and-finish is perfect, alignment is perfect. Welding was solid, dense, clean and slag-free. We chose not to paint the metal so it would allow the surface to naturally rust... and then coat it with a protective low-sheen finish. A great company to work with, focused on aesthetic AND function. Business-like approach to the project, communicative and responsive. Pricing was reasonable, above the 'middle' as compared to other firms bidding the project, but the attention to detail, professionality, communication, can-do spirit and final results for both gates, was well worth the above average price. But when I hire a company/person that knocks my socks off and goes above and beyond, I make sure to write them reviews everywhere because they are worthy of it. Before I called JM Custom Iron Work, I had 2 other well known companies come out and give us quotes to custom build and install 3 security screen doors. These other companies were expensive. I originally had reservations about hiring a company that is not licenses/bonded. So before I gave them my 50% down payment, I did extensive online research. They have their LLC through the AZ Sectary of State, they have numerous online reviews from other very happy customers, and I was able to drive over to their shop and see their set up. My Experience With Juan: When I called Juan, he immediately responded to my text message. I sent him the pictures of the doors on our home and then sent him pictures of the types of custom screen doors we wanted. Juan is super fast to respond to text messages and phone calls. I love that! I love working with a business that understands that customers want answers and they wants answers NOW.
