I cannot believe what horrible customer care we received. I never received an email with swatches. Which would be exactly why you never heard a response. A business owner would normally follow up with an email, phone call or text with a customer after a week or so after an email ascended with no response. As a customer, you should respect when I say I know what I'm looking for and I want to see these color schemes and fabrics. So now you're saying, my husband was a liar about the comments you made about our neighborhood; that is very unprofessional.

Since then, I've received texts about unexpected delays, both professional and personal, with assurances that the windows will indeed be installed once all these events subside. From March through June, I followed up and followed up, only to receive excuses/explanations about this or that unforeseen event that hasn't allowed him to complete installation, but not to worry, it will get done. After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. After all this time, I get neither an installation nor even the courtesy of a phone call to explain why. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is the few times I actually spoke to Matt, he was polite. So, I give him a star for that. But he sure didn't fulfill his promise, and there's no reason to treat customers this way.

First win - the young lady answered the phone on the second ring. Second win - she asked me to hold while she checked to see if the technician to cut a specific size of glass was still around in the back. Third win - she confirmed that he was available, they were still capable and willing to accommodate my request. Fourth and final win and requires props - I am now a "customer for life" with Five Star Glazing. I showed up to pick up my piece of glass. The owner actually assisted me with replacing it in the frame, put it back together, and helped me in every way he could, going WAY above and beyond What I expected to encounter. They have the customer at front of mind, just like we expect it to be, but rarely if ever encounter any more. They even stock ancient parts as he produces them with technology as a friend. Call them and talk to Selena or Ben if you have a special need or request. Clearly, they focus on customer service and satisfaction and are just great at what they do and very kind. If you need anything Glass related - these guys are the best I've ever seen at serving customers and having the knowledge to provide you with a solution.

A year later and we are still dealing with an unsatisfactory resolution with the owner after being oversold and misled by his sales staff.

We were still undecided when we received a call from Jake, the owner of Modern Resolution. He answered some questions we had from his sales rep's presentation and decided it would be best for him to see our house to respond to a couple of concerns we had. We did research and found that the Anlin windows he proposed were highly rated. Jake gave us a good price and we signed a contract. We had a very short delay in getting our windows installed due to the end of the year holidays. The install went well. It was very impressive how hard the installers worked. They were on time every day and were very careful of not damaging anything in our home, including the floor. Per Jake's recommendation, we had a combination of retrofit and new windows installed. The new windows required chopping out some stucco. After those windows were installed, new stucco was put on immediately. Modern Resolution had a great employee named Luis paint all of the new stucco. That was one of the reasons we went with Modern Resolution as most other window companies we spoke with said we were responsible for any painting required after the install. We had a couple of small issues, such as a bathroom screen missing. (it was found in the warehouse behind a box) but Jake always took care of those in a timely fashion. We were shocked how much outside noise was reduced by our new windows and sliders along with the utility savings! Also, it was surprising how nice the windows looked from the inside. If we would have known what a great job we would get from Modern Resolution, we would have replaced our windows much sooner! Thank you, Jake!

Purchased four total windows for this project. The first crew installed three, leaving replacement…read moreof glass block to a second crew. This required reframing for a different sized window. The framing was sloppy, out of plumb, and required a ton of rework to finish the work on the interior. The attitude from the second crew was poor. However, the first crew did marvelous work and cleaned up after themselves. So, it really depends on who is sent out. Hit or miss.
