We have been wanting to get 7 windows and 1 patio door replaced for quite some time. We met with several sales people across 4-5 months and finally landed on DunRite Windows & Doors for the job. While they were not the lowest in price, and certainly not the highest, their customer experience throughout the process was overall positive and ultimately what won us over. Jan arrived to our home on time, assessed the home, and provided a quote to us promptly. He showed us some samples he brought with him but invited us to the showroom to get a better look and understanding of what we were choosing. I appreciated his no pressure sales approach and I valued the ability to look at all of my options before making the ultimate decision. After we made the selection, we signed the contract and were told it'd be 8-12 weeks before the windows came in for installation. We had another short appointment where JJ arrived to make the exact measurements, and paid half of the total cost of our windows. At week 10, we got a call from JJ to get our windows installed by week 11. Mike and Mikey were our installers and we would 100% have them back at our home! They were very respectful, careful to mind our belongings, efficient, and effective in installing our windows/door. They were sure to prep things neatly before they got the installation done. Everything structurally surrounding the windows and door were left undisturbed and our new windows look amazing! We did have one screen with a small tear in which we were informed the office would be reaching out to schedule a replacement for that. Failed to launch. Dunrite was one company that I sought out for quote to replace my front double door. I was getting to a point where their reviews and quote were putting them as the front runner. I indicated to their sales rep Tony that I wanted to see samples of the glass options I could use as well as door hardware options - he indicated both would be available in the showroom. So relying on that, I took time out of my workday to meet Tony out at Dunrite, where glass option samples were actually limited to nonexistant and door hardware samples didn't exist. When I pointed this out to Tony at the showroom he was aloof to indignant and unapologetic. When I emailed him pointing out his miscommunication he again failed to acknowledge his failure at communicating, replying simply "good luck with whatever you do." I'm sure they are fine for others, based on the reviews here, but I can't do business with a company for thousands of dollars in spend that at the outset are lackluster about their communication and unapologetic/uncaring when they make a mistake. read more

I shopped about 20 companies for our whole house window replacement project, and from the sales process with Rick Ritivoy, to working with the office to schedule my project in stages (bathroom windows had to go in first as a shower remodel was contingent on having those in before it could begin) to the actual work being performed, my entire experience was excellent. A lot of companies out there tried the hard sell, which fell flat, but DunRite was happy to work with me over email first and I went went them because of the double lifetime warranty on the windows, and the lifetime labor warranty, on top of having the best price for the types of windows I wanted. Chris, Matt, Jason, and the rest of the crew that did my install were all very professional and accommodating to all requests. They were a pleasure to work with! I have been meaning to write this review for a while to warn people about using this company. We hired Dunrite to replace our sliding glass doors and the drywall job that they did on the exterior of our house is horrific. Please see attached photos to see how bad it looks. When I asked someone to come out and fix it, their manager told me to mix sand with paint and paint over it to fix it. At that point, I was so exasperated with their lack of communication and poor job that I just stopped trying to get them to fix it. It makes me mad every time I go in my backyard and see how bad it looks. read more

Our cat, Slinky, asked that I submit his notes from our installation. Though he was not permitted to oversee the installation process (he does not have any thumbs, is easily distracted, and likes to sit on things he shouldn't), Slinky highly approves of the visual clarity now afforded to him through the low-e kitchen window that lets in the light, keeps out the heat, and provides a fully optimized, high-def front-yard TV experience. Slinky was so impressed by both the initial product performance and the installers who completed the project, that he requested we replace all remaining household windows immediately. This was a big hit with the rest of the cats, who can now enjoy high-def Pigeon TV on the big screen in both the kitchen and bedroom. read more

My wife and I hired this company to do a whole house window replacement (16 windows) and 4 exterior doors that were nearly 30 years old. We chose Anlin windows and Therma-Tru doors. They offered an extremely competitive price vs other quotes from competitors. Obviously this was a very big and expensive purchase, so reading all the positive reviews here as well as their numerous service awards was a big factor in hiring them. The crew was out this week for 4 blistering hot days installing everything and just finished today. Chris, Jason, Kevin (door guy I hope your name is right, I suck with names) and the other guys on the crew were extremely professional and polite. They took care in moving things away from and back to get to the windows. The installation job looks amazing. I am highly impressed with the job they did installing the windows and doors and at how they also minimized the stucco damage. A minor repair below one window is all that will need to be done, and it is nothing significant. This crew was easily the best crew of workers I have ever encountered in doing any home remodeling project. We have already noticed a significant temperature drop in two west facing rooms with the new windows. The sound dampening is also a big plus. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of doing windows and/or doors. read more

Good window installation companies are hard to come by. Other have very high pressure sales tactics and use third parties to do the actual install. Just got Anlin windows and doors installed last couple days by Dun-Rite. What a great experience through the process of sales to the installation. We got estimates from about 5 different vendors and Dun-Rite gave the best value and service. They sold many different windows and doors but they were selling the install as they had no preference on what window we selected. They educated us on all the windows they sold and allowed us to choose not being biased to just one window company. It's been long process due to supply issues but they came through. The installers David and Donovan were simply awesome. They were on time, organized, and explained process of install. The install was second to none and were very experienced. From the start, Dunrite was different from other window companies that came out to quote. Tony, the sales manager is a very personable guy and he couldn't wait to brag about his company. In hindsight, it's very easy to see why. Once he explained why I should choose Dunrite, he was willing to quote anything we wanted, not what he thought we should have. You want the most economical good quality vinyl? You got it. You want highest quality fiberglass? You got it. Tony met us at their new showroom and let us see/touch/feel the difference between the most economical, the most expensive and everything in between and answered all our questions. We didn't want to deal with a terrible 10' window in our kitchen because we were afraid it would snowball into many problems. Tony assured us without pressuring that Dunrite could definitely handle it. He was absolutely right. They removed a collapsing outdoor bar that was pulling our window off the house, shored up the structure, installed new siding and a beautiful new window. The installation team, Corey and Demitri, are the best I've ever encountered. They are quick, very knowledgeable, very neat, respectful of you and your property, and great at communication. I was never unsure of what was happening. George came by every day of our job, at least once to make sure everything was going well. He's a great supervisor, excellent at communication and treats the crew and his customers with respect. The office staff were always friendly and helpful when I spoke to them. And Chris finished our interior drywall and texture wonderfully. Their window quote included all this structural and drywall work that no other window company would touch and their price was right in line with all the other companies. We work in a suite in the same building as DunRite and have watched them pleasantly come and go for years. Always thought we would get a bid from them if we ever needed windows. Recently bought a house and it needed the locks changed. While the locksmith was repairing the locks we mentioned that we were also beginning to do window shopping. This 29 year-old house had inefficient single-pane windows. He stopped, turned and said, "I know a guy you have to meet. He did a door for me and his workmanship is second to none." Where do I begin? My wife and I are new to home ownership and needed to have numerous windows replaced due to their age and failing seals, parts, locks, you name it. We reached out to a few window installation companies and quickly knew we liked DunRite. Sal was from the get go very kind and flexible when it came to scheduling follow up meetings as we kept coming up with new questions every time we met, and he continued to have answers for us each time! Never once did he pressure us into buying his windows or services. We finally decided on moving forward with window installation using DunRite after reviewing the multiple bids we received from others in the valley, DunRite stood out as being the right choice for us. After another measuring appointment or two they were ordered and then we waited for install! After a couple of weeks the windows arrived and we were on the books for installation. The install crew were extremely polite, respectful, and did everything they could to keep our house and the surrounding areas near the windows as clean as possible. Collin was nothing but patient with us as my wife and I asked a million questions before, during, and after each day of install. They wrapped up pretty quick over all (roughly 3 days) and the windows look amazing! What a difference we are noticing in our house temperature wise and just the overall appearance of our house having been "updated" with these beautiful windows. We have had some settling of stucco and the caulking used (inside and out) with the temperature changes but we were reassured this is normal and to our delight Sal was quick to respond and have JJ come out to do a once over of the windows and then fill in any openings from the material expanding and contracting. JJ by the way is just awesome, as well, having been here to measure in the beginning and now after the install was complete to ensure we are happy customers. For two first time home owners and first time window project people DunRite has been there every step of the way for us. Sal, JJ, Collin, and the rest of the crew (sorry to not name all of you!) are some of the most trust worthy, professional, and truly customer oriented people I've had the pleasure of meeting. When I requested a bid I was sure to add specific notes about what we were looking for AND asked the scheduler that the estimator was aware of our request so that we maximized our appt and he would be prepared. After I left a voicemail for the estimator making sure that he'd read the notes, so that we were on the same page, and ten minutes AFTER our scheduled appointment time, Sal called to tell me it "wasn't going to work for them." I don't know which is worse, the lack of professionalism and arrogance in that statement or the lack of consideration for our time and the needs that were clearly stated two weeks ago. No doubt they will rationalize their bad behavior and try to flip it on me... Buyer beware. By the way, we did find an excellent custom installer with great communication and fair pricing.
