5++++ stars. I've been wanting to get a door in my garage to my side yard, where there wasn't one, for almost 6 years, since moved in. Finally got it done. I had several estimates but Krasiva, although not the lowest Jeff presented as the most trustworthy company. I reviewed Jeff earlier in year and came right back to him when ready to get project done. He came back out and we got paperwork done. Dustin came out and measured. They were both very informative about the whole project and estimate of when job would be done. I learned about door frames and stuff I don't remember now, but they do the job to insure its sound construction. Communication was great. Yelonda in office called or emailed to keep me updated, give me information and answer my questions. Never did I have to reach out more than once to get an answer. That says a lot about a company and how they treat their customers. I felt valued and respected. I also think the company owner and management has to be treating these folks well which trickles down to customers. It finally came to day for installation, Thursday July 23rd. Dustin and I believe it was Glennis arrived a little early ready to work. The electrician came shortly after and installed light fixture I purchased. Then door install began. Not sure how they worked the long hours they did with it something like 110 out, but they got things done. Dustin came back next day for several hours to finish up, it was only to be 116 that day. I'd also purchased a keyless entry deadbolt that he put in. They got everything accomplished and it looked great. Everything was cleaned up and my door was now there. Monday Spencer came and painted. I purchased the type of paint recommended for door and had it match my exterior. (I'm in a HOA community. Door is behind gate and barely can see top and light fixture from street, but I followed HOA guidelines). Just had whole door and frame done in same color. If you prefer different trim color you just get different color, but I'm fine with it all matching rest of house. Inside it "pops" on white wall. Spencer did a great job and door looks flawless. If you need a door installed call these folks. Any extra money you may spend will be well worth it. Knowing they followed city codes and building codes, did the necessary work to insure the job was done right. They even checked with my HOA if needed approval, which I did have to have. They did what was needed to make things strong and secure with no corner cutting. I think the door will last for many years to come. Couple other companies were kind of wishy washy on if need to follow all codes, and need of HOA approval, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I wanted to be sure nothing would come up down the road that some part of job wasn't right or maybe a hazard. Overall a great experience. These folks were always polite, respectful and friendly. Had a few nice conversations with Dustin and Spencer. Close to my generation. Oh, they had terrific music playing too, tunes I remember. Again call Krasiva if you need doors or windows. Jeff had told me Krasiva means Beautiful in Russian. And my door is definitely Krasiva. read more

I did not have a job done nor did I even get an in home sales rep to come out. They called to schedule, and the minute I mentioned that I would be the only person meeting with the salesperson/estimator, that my wife would have nothing to do with this part and that she doesn't care to be involved in this part. They said sorry, we can't meet with you and ended the call. I've NEVER had a refusal to estimate ANYTHING from ANY company based on that both persons can't be there. Reading the 1 star reviews, confirms that this company must really need to play off of couples to get sales, or high pressure sales is part of their process. It instantly screamed of "don't do business with these people" . My wife was shocked and bothered that they ended the conversation bc she didn't want to be a part of it. They can reply with their spin but I've never had a company NOT meet bc only 1 person is taking the meeting. read more

Absolute best experience replacing my front door. I was extremely hesitant as I've had more than my fair share of awful contractor experiences over the last few years. I had several quotes completed and didn't really care for any of them. Then Kasiva popped up in my NextDoor app. and I submitted my info for a consultation. I was immediately contacted by Dana, who was so warm and welcoming. Next, Tim came to my home the following week and I really appreciated his non high pressure sales tactic. Of the three other quotes I had received, his was the best and most transparent. Installation and staining was with Spencer and it truly was a dream. The whole installation process was seamless. We had been considering replacing the back windows and doors ever since we moved into our house back in 2018 but the timing and finances never seemed to align. Earlier this year, a polite young man from Krasiva showed up at our door passing out info in our neighborhood. It was a no pressure situation and I called to schedule a consult when I was ready a few days later. Their sales rep Tim came out a few days later and spent a good amount of time with my husband and I, showing us the quality (first and foremost), efficiency and the aesthetics of their products. Tim was very personable and pleasure to work with. After we decided to buy, another man came out to do exact measurements for two standard windows, one large window and our French doors. The lead time to get them in was long but that's an industry standard these days. Once they got our windows and door in, they installed them within the week. We were blessed with a larger crew than normal because of how the schedule worked. They were able to finish everything that day! Their installers were polite, respectful and cognizant of our little ones, who were home on summer break. Our family is very happy with the results! I can't wait to open all the windows in the fall to let the cool air without the bugs while my kids play outside. The west side of our house is noticeably cooler and has been more enjoyable to use this summer. We used to be able to feel sun's heat beaming in from our window onto our floor and that is no more since getting our new windows from Krasiva. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish! One more thing to note that was interesting and unique. Usually when you work with other companies you get bombarded with texts, emails and over communication. With Krasiva, it was just enough intentional communication to get the job done. It almost felt odd because of how society is now but it was honestly refreshing! read more

On a scale of 1 to 10, this company is an 11. I'm a single female who has learned that not all companies treat everyone fairly. This company was terrific. Not once did anyone talk down to me or try to screw me over. Perry the sales person was so graceous and explained every detail answering all my questions. He understood thia was a big investment for me to spend this kind of money. The installers were detailed oriented plus they cleaned up after themselves. Those are not reasons why I did not go with your company, but they were reasons my door project was delayed. Which I told your representative the last time we spoke. I'm not sure how that somehow makes it ok to call me over and over every day for a week less than a month later, which I am now assuming was done spitefully. I had previously left a review about an aspect of the door that I wasn't happy with but after an explanation by Krasiva that was satisfactory, I am updating my review to say we are happy with the door. As of now... the windows and patio door that we had installed seem to be working great and a well made product. The difference in temperature inside our home is drastically different than our previous windows. This has taken me a little while to get to writing, but I just wanted to share my happiness with my new doors while I still had the chance. Watch out! High pressure sales! Got an estimate scheduled. Instead it turned into an hour and a half sales pitch. He didn't measure anything and just said everything was standard sized and came back with a really high price (which in his favor he did say he was going to charge double then any other Joe Shmoe) then said he could make a deal etc, etc. and then said we had to decide right then and there on going with this company. After an hour and a half of non stop talking, most of which, I didn't give a crap about because I was concerned with how much everything was going to be. THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MY TIME EVER. When calling and looking for an estimate it means just that. I'm shopping around not looking to be swindled into some "deal" by some dude sitting inside my house at my kitchen table. I refuse to do business with any company that makes their sales team pressure people into a sale that they're not even sure they can afford and then offering financing on top of it to make it seem affordable. You may have decent reviews from everyone else you pressured into buying from you but that still doesn't make the way you practice business, right. read more

They were very candid and let me know up front their estimate would be a little higher than the one I currently obtained from another local business. Krasiva Windows and Doors just completed a job at my second story townhome. We had a sliding glass door replaced and 2 large windows. Derrick at Krasiva was extremely friendly and helpful. He always had the time to go over things and explain everything in detail. Tyrone, who led the installation crew, was extremely professional. The crew did amazing work. I am already noticing a drastic difference in the amount of time that my air conditioner is running and the noise level from the outside coming in. Krasiva did a beautiful job for us: we needed to replace a double front entry door, 3 French patio doors and windows in 3 bedrooms (hung and sliding styles). First: we were looking specifically for Weathershield doors and windows, and Krasiva is the only company in the valley that installs these! After initial consults with the usual big name windows and doors companies, I discovered WeatherShield in a friend's home and decided these were what I was looking for. The Owner: Greg Strickland is fantastic. Always able to answer questions, even about minutiae. Responds quickly to voicemail or email. Really believes in quality craftsmanship. Diligent in delivering a final product that satisfies the customer. Fair, HONEST, and conscientious businessman. Consultation went well--2 meetings to discuss exactly what we wanted. Apparently the specific French patio doors with side vents we had were not standard, so Krasiva (with Weathershield, the company that makes the patio doors) custom designed the doors and added casement windows on the sides so we could still have the ventilation we were used to, while retaining the door style we wanted. They were very detailed when it came to measurements. Each of our patio doors, though identical in appearance, were actually all different in dimensions because of the openings! (Our house was built in 1953 with several additions in the 90's.) Cost: for an order that included 3 custom-built French patio doors with side casement windows, the total STILL came in several thousand dollars LESS than the big name competitors from whom we regularly receive ads in our mailbox! (I had gotten quotes on 2 separate occasions from 2 of these companies and the numbers just don't compare.) Timing: we finalized the order in late November and installation occurred in early February. Considering all the normal production delays expected during the holidays, we thought the timing was fairly quick! We can already tell the difference between our new doors/windows and old ones (which are only 6 years old, but do NOT have the ability to repel heat/cold and block 95-97% of UV from entering the house, like our new ones do). One whole side of the house is cooler than the other, as the temps outside have been rising. SO happy we got these installed before summer arrives! May now need to look into replacing the others...to maximize energy effiency! Greg had told me that I'd probably feel that way once our new doors and windows went in! So happy to have found a local company to help with this large project!! read more

The window quality is very good. When you drive by they look really nice. It does take like 16 weeks for them to get the windows made and installed. This is one of the worst business practices. I used home advisor to get my windows replaced. When they found I am deployed overseas and I will be on video call ,the caller immediately refused to provide service since it's only wife physically at home. Absolutely the best installers on the planet. Our new windows are fabulous. We didn't really realize what a difference a good window would be. We have been in our house for 30 years and the windows were very basic. Our living room would become a furnace in the summer and even the AC couldn't make it habitable until evening. OMG-what a total difference it is now. My hubby is a skeptic and didn't think it would make too much of a difference. On day 1, he was sold. Could not believe the temperature change in just the first few hours. And I have to talk about the installers again, they were the VERY best we have ever encountered in our lives. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told that both my husband and I need to be at home which is fine because I work from home anyways. Made our appointment at 11am on a Friday and the guy shows up 10 mins early. I'm in a meeting but I can hear him. I figured I should be done by 11. I come out and my husband told me that the guy left because I wasn't available. Are you kidding me? He couldn't wait 10 mins to do it at the time he was suppose to do it at? I was literally just at my desk taking a call. My husband said the rep looked like he didn't want to be there anyways. Fine. Guess we'll just go with another company. We also later realized that another rep from the same company showed up at our door on Christmas eve trying to sell windows and tried to look around our house which made us feel uncomfortable. Who does that on Christmas eve anyways. If I had known it was this company, I wouldn't have scheduled in the first place. read more

Waited 5 months for new patio door for my Phoenix home. First four months after Perry telling me it would be 10-12 weeks. No real explanation. After four months, installers arrived only to determine after half an hour that the wrong frame had been sent. Yes, Derrick said manufacturer issue, but I had to wait another month for a frame from California. Joe and Chris did a great installation job - put a barrier to keep dust out of house and cleaned up pretty well. I do love the door. Was a little disappointed in lack of finish work. They did install new trim work on interior, but did not fill nail holes or caulk around the outside of the trim. Apparently, the only had black caulk to match door. Also, they cut my tile rather badly in a couple of places, but used my grout to cover the issue. Only 4 stars because 5 months is too long to wait for a door from California, charge extra to use credit cards, completion work not up to my expectations, and paperwork using actual carbon (like from the 1970's). You guys need to move into the 21st century. Last company I worked with used email for estimates and ongoing communications, used tablets to sign off on installation and accepted credit card payments. Installers should not be collecting paper checks and getting blue/black fingers from carbon paper. read more

Krasiva Windows did a great job on replacing our front and side windows. Our house was built in 1985 and still had the original single-pane windows. Someone from Krasiva came to our door, introduced himself, and left a flyer last fall. They followed up via phone to set an appointment for the "pitch." The "pitch" from Gary went well, we learned a lot, and we scheduled our window replacement. Someone else came to take final measurements and then we waited 6 weeks for the windows to be made. Everyone we dealt with at the company was professional and friendly. As soon as they were ready - right after Christmas - they called and scheduled the team to do the work. A team of three came over in the morning and they were done by early afternoon. They were professional and worked fast - we barely knew they were there. Clean-up was a breeze. And Gary came by in the morning and brought our dog a toy which was a great customer service touch! The only thing that keeps this from a five-star review is that one of the window parts had a problem with the coating from the factory. The foreman noticed the problem and filled out the warranty information. Another six weeks later, that one portion was ready and it took less than an hour to pop out the problem pane and drop in the new one. The warranty process was easy, so the review only loses a star because we had to wait longer for the project to be complete. Our house gets more light, less heat and less outside sound -- our dog was happy that New Year's fireworks were muffled. The only thing I wish is that we had our bedroom windows done too! read more

A bit late but I just wanted to share my great experience with Krasiva. Over a year ago, We had a huge single pane glass sliding door in our great room which we wanted to replace. They were going door to door in our neighborhood spreading the word about their wonderful products. Since We were in the market for a new door anyway, we scheduled a consult for someone to come out and give us a quote. The man we met with was so friendly and knowledgeable about the product and needless to say, we were very impressed with the presentation and the amazing price that was quoted so we jumped on it. The process was quick and easy, the installers were very thorough, quiet, and clean with their work and it didn't take very long at all! Not to mention the incredible quality of the door and glass. I have more windows in the future I need replaced and I will be using them again for sure! read more

I should have posted this review nearly a month ago as it is well deserved, but forgive me, I've been busy. I'll begin by describing the windows. To be brief, they are fantastic. This house is an older house in Central Phoenix that was built in 1959. The windows were those old timey steel casement crank out style windows. I didn't realize how bad those windows were until the new windows were installed. There used to be areas inside the house that were not functional or usable during the summer months because it was just too hot to be near one of these windows. When the sun came up, it was time to get up and out of bed because my bedroom heated up so rapidly it was impossible to be there. These windows have changed all of that. I won't pretend to understand what magic is happening with these windows, but it is a fact that the light comes through but the heat does not. This house is now a very different environment. There is an outside space, and an inside space, and these windows are the barrier between those two spaces. As for the crew that showed up to install the windows, it would be impossible to ask for a better experience. There have been many projects at this house in the last few months and this window replacement project was the absolute best experience. These guys clearly knew what they were doing, and they did it quickly, efficiently and with a great deal of skill. It was a pleasure to have them here in my home, they were respectful and careful with my property, and we actually had fun. You really can't ask for more than that in a home renovation project. Full disclosure, I was considering purchasing some standard Home Depot windows and hiring a contractor to install them. Greg somehow convinced me that was not the way to go. I was skeptical at first, but now that it is all said and done, he was correct. I am very happy and grateful that I invested in these windows. It ain't cheap, but it is worth it. If Greg shows up at your house with his frames, panes, torches, and heat lamps to demonstrate his windows, stick with it to the end. It will be boring, unless you're a science geek, but in the end it gets interesting. read more
