My experience with glass king was quite horrible! I requested their window service and in the end it ended up costing me double of what I was quoted. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They replaced the glass for our large master bathroom window. Which I didn't know was even possible. Much less expensive than replacing the whole window. They were very professional and polite. They were prompt in coming out to give an estimate. I have never written a negative post about a company before. But after speaking with Glass King and trying to resolve an issue, I feel that I must. My husband and I had Glass King come out to replace a transom window and another bedroom window. At the time, the installer also replaced the trim in the bedroom window. The two windows cost $752. The trim replacement was not done correctly and there was a small glitch when opening and closing the window. The installer assured me that it would be fine. We really didn't open that window much so I took his word for it. Now, 2 short years later we can barely open and close the window because of the faulty trim. I called an owner at Glass King and he told me that they would not try to replace the trim. The only option was to pay for a brand new window all over again. His answer was that because I didn't call in time, they would not stand behind their work. He didn't offer any sort of compromise or a reduction in price of a new window. He said sorry. Have a good day and hung up briskly. He seemed bothered that I would call to bring this up at all. My husband and I are stunned that this kind of customer service would come from a company like this. No one likes to come home finding their front window smashed. After being a bit freaked out, I called a few glass companies to come bit out the work. Glass King was one of those companies. They said they would match any price their competitor was offering and they were the last company to show up so they got the work. They did a good job of cleaning up the mess, measuring the new window, and getting it installed. It took a week or so to get the new window so that would be my only criticism. Other than that, am very happy with the work they did and both the guy who came out and measured and the installer were very nice and easy to deal with. read more

Very disappointed with the service we received recently. Not only did the problem not get correct, but more problems developed after the two repair guys man-handled the sliding glass door. The lock, which was never an issue is not operable and needs to be replaced. In addition, the door was left in a worse condition where it couldn't even be opened up one bit. We had another repair company come out. They disassembled the door and put it back together with all the existing parts, they added some screws and adhesive for the gasket...and low and behold the door slides really nicely! The only repair that remains is the locking mechanism. The Glass King repair guys kept changing what they believed the issue was...it started with only an adjustment needed...to multiple issues for a total of $771 for new rollers/wheels and a window thickness size issue which is 5/8" according to the new repair company (a standard size). Also, the prices on the invoices were verbally quoted at about half of what the invoice shows. After contacting the company via email about the issues we experienced, the owners called and tried to make it better by listening to my concerns and then stating that they believe the fix by the new repair company were not the correct way to handle it. Time will tell. They did refund the money we spent on their service call while we still need to get the door locking mechanism handled on our own. read more

Matt and Jay gave me a price guaranty on replacing 3-windows. They sent their lead installer Josh to do the official measurements. Josh was approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. My home is 20 years old and the cheap builder original windows are failing slowly. I discussed replacing a few of the other windows, in the home. Jay gave me great pricing on these as well. I decide to just go all in, and replace all of the windows. Jay again stepped up wIth very fair pricing. I'm very glad I chose Glass King. The 10-year warranty and their commitment to customer service is I got all of my windows installed, very happy with the windows and the service. Josh came out and finished up the few windows that hadn't come in yet on the previous appointment. He and his crew worked efficiently and just beat the rain! Josh cleaned all existing rollers and lubricated them made sure I was happy with the way they worked. He also eliminated a squeak "nails in chalkboard sound" from our sliding glass door. I called around to multiple shops looking for custom insulated glass replacement for my aluminum windows. Every store said it would be 10-15 business days to get in. After speaking with Jay, the owner, I decided to order a clear glass table top from Glass King to protect my new wood dining table. It was fabricated and delivered within a week at a very fair price. I suppose that was to be expected- good product, right price. The Glass King differentiator was the unexpected level of care by the delivery guys, Will and Andy. Thank you Glass King! One glass pane of our arcadia door has been broken for months. It's been so lightweight that one of our precious pooches can open it with her paws. We're going on a longer trip this summer vacation and wanted peace of mind and for the door to be fixed. We called several "glass replacement" businesses for quotes. These guys are great. I called on a Friday afternoon and they got me scheduled for the next week. I had a 9x8 foot mirror that I needed removed. Glass King was by far the best bid I got. On the day of the removal the guys were great at communicating with me about when they would arrive. Once they arrived they took that giant mirror out in no time with no problem. Our sidelight window next to our front entry was broken... I had called several companies and they were the only one that called me back in a timely matter. I did notice too, that others that I called were directly linked under the same company (different company name, same coordinating rep). I spoke to them on June 1 about having my window done by them, was a reasonable price and their installers and reps seemed to be nice and helpful. On the date that my window was supposed to be delivered, no one was returning my calls. It took them two days to finally call me back and then tell me that they had to reorder the window as it was done incorrectly. I was patient. Because, it's an expensive window and yes, I'd like it done correctly. When the next installation date came, I got a call AGAIN that it was incorrect and they'd have to push out my installation yet, again. By this time I was starting to get very annoyed and started calling other companies to come out and replace our window. Yesterday, they called and said they got my window in and that it was the "correct way now" and they could install it so I agreed. The installation tech is super nice and friendly, and did a great job installing, I assume? However, I am still not happy with how the window looks in the frame and he basically pointed out that I have to "deal with it" and "that's just how it's going to look" and even then proceeded to point out something on an older window saying "It doesn't look any worse that that...." Hmmmm. By this time I am FURIOUS with this company and their accommodating. They did give us a discount but I felt like it was comparable to giving a waitress a $2 tip. For what we put up with them, and then now what we have to look at every day and "deal with it", I felt they should have discounted the installation at least something more affordable. I will NOT ever use them and I WILL tell every one of my friends and family to make sure NOT to call them for any glass or window repairs. (as well as the other 4-5 companies they run). read more

Go nowhere else for glass and mirrors. Glass King are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, also their prices are definitely lower. I am an engineer and am very particular about my projects, and it was very impressive to see the accuracy with which the measurements were taken, the efficiency of communication (both a phone call and text when my mirror was ready, and an email receipt) and the ready willingness of Jay to discuss mounting channel, sealant, etc. They even gave me some wedges and some channel.
