I'd been putting off replacing our underlayment for a while and had been paying attention to which roofing companies neighbors were using over the past year or so. A couple of my neighbors used JWF, and I also saw many positive recommendations for them on Nextdoor. After a tile blew off during a recent storm, I took that as my sign to stop procrastinating and get it done. I contacted JWF on a Friday evening, and they were out Saturday morning for an inspection. They started the job on Wednesday and were finished by Thursday afternoon. Pricing was competitive, the crew was hardworking and efficient, and everything was cleaned up when the work was done. I still can't believe how easy they made the entire process. I expected it to be a lot more stressful, like most major house projects. Communication was great from start to finish, and they kept me updated with photos. The owner also came on-site both days to check on everything and talk through any questions I had. I especially appreciated the attention to detail. None of the other companies I met with seemed to care as much, with some saying they would just put any mismatched tiles in the back. JWF doesn't do that. They even replaced mismatched tiles that were already in the back from a previous repair, and any paint they used was matched to the house. I'd definitely recommend JWF to anyone needing roof work! read more

We found JWF Roofing by their brochure we received in the mail. Thank God for the brochure! It is a father and sons company. What stood out to us most was their integrity. They were great to work with from start to finish. Sent photos and texts keeping us in the loop the whole time. Also did extra work, fixed and repaired our patio roof that had water damage and painted the fascia without charing extra. To anyone looking for excellent workmanship for a very fair price we would definitely recommend JWF Roofing. Definitely go above and beyond and take pride in their work. read more

Great quality workmanship & professional crew. Their quote was very reasonable as we had 7 different roofers give us quotes & chose JWF roofing above them all. They cleaned up after & had everything complete on day 2. I'll be recommending them to anyone with roofing needs. read more

We got 5 tile roofing repair quotes (replacing underlayment, etc). JWF Roofing was by far the best, quickest and easiest to deal with. None of this crap of some runny nose kid with a "taught" sales pitch. They just got down, made an offer and within 48 hours - all done! Could not recommend more read more

JWF removed two layers of asphalt shingles, repaired rotted wood, and replaced with new Corning underlayment and shingles. they also recoated my deck with elastomeric coating. Their price was much more reasonable than other companies I had called for quotes. It was a noisy two days, a delayed start due to rain, and a slight lack of communication, but well worth the wait! After they left, I noticed a couple of things that weren't right, and they promptly sent a worker to take care of them. Just a heads up, I have picked up SEVERAL nails around the house, even though they laid down tarps to try to catch all the flying debris from the roof, which I'm sure is normal. I would also recommend moving any plants, yard furniture, birdfeeders, or outdoor items before they start so nothing gets damaged. Overall, very happy with the result! read more

My truck, parked in the driveway of my house is not a billboard for your flyers. Your shitty marketing tactics have made our street look like a trailer park. Our roof is in need of repair, but you won't be getting the call. You, or the company you hired to distribute your flyers, should read up on the local ordinances before setting out for the day: Sec. 14-172. - Distributing handbills and subscribed materials on private property. (c) Any person placing or depositing any handbill or subscribed materials upon private premises shall utilize public streets, sidewalks or walkways, unless the owner or occupant has given express permission to walk across unpaved areas of the yard. (d) Any person or entity whose name appears on the handbill or subscribed material as the person or entity being promoted in the handbill or subscribed material is the responsible party for ensuring compliance with this section 14-172 and for any actions of those employed or engaged to place or deposit the handbill or subscribed material on the private property. (e) Violations of this section 14-172 are subject to the enforcement actions and penalties set forth in section 14-173 in addition to any other remedies available at law. (Ord. Work was done well but be sure to get any quote in writing. They negotiate quickly but never wrote it down. My husband and I both heard him and wrote it down and said it back at the time but he remembered it differently. The crew also broke a large terra cotta pot (4' tall) in my yard and never replaced it as promised. read more

JWF was responsive, punctual, and thorough. They handled my roof leak very quickly and explained the issue well. In the few days since the repair, we had more rain, and the fix was solid. We'll use JWF again when it comes time to re-roof our home. read more

Great response after initial call. Met with Jim and within a few days Bill completed a small job. This was on March 21, 2023. Jim promised me a 5 year warranty for work on my roof. Since then I have requested on 4 different occasions, a receipt of services, my 5 year warranty in writing and pictures of before, during and after of the work done by Bill, who told me that those pictures would be sent to me. As of today, June 5, 2023, I still have not received any of my requests. Great work on my roof but terrible customer service after completion of the job. I would have a hard time recommending JWF to anyone to have their roof worked on. Very disappointed that I still have not received my requests. I was hoping it didn't come down to a negative review, but Jim gave me no choice. read more

Absolutely the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. Hired him to fix up some leaks on my roof 1.5 years ago and have yet to get it fixed after paying him over 3k. He keeps saying he's going to come and then doesn't. When I reach out to him he doesn't even respond for weeks. Keeps stringing me along until the next big rain. Creating more damage in the process. read more

From the recent storm we had damage to a gazebo and found that the house attic access panel was sucked up in the attic. So, I suspected there was damage to the main house roof too. JWF came out the same morning I called checked the whole roof and found no damage, and didn't even charge a service visit fee! JWF re-roofed my home during double digits temperatures. Team started promptly at 8:00 A.M. and logged out around noon each day they worked on my roof. Every member of the team were respectful of my plants, furniture, etc. that surrounded the area below my roof line. Cleaned up daily before leaving the work site. Also filled in holes/gaps that birds had entered to build their nests. Reasonably priced for a job well done. read more
