V5 Vermicelli with grilled shrimp and spring roll
    Tony X.

I met up with two friends in the Annex area, and after looking at our options, we decided to go to Nang Saigon. I ordered the Vermicelli with grilled shrimp and spring roll and my friends went with noodle dishes. My meal was wonderful - the ingredients blended well together for a fresh and rich taste, and the shrimp were grilled to perfection. The service was also quick and the waiter came over several times to top up our glasses with water. The restaurant also looked clean and modern on the inside. I'd love to go back when I'm in the area again.

Awesome Vietnamese restaurant on Bloor. Service was good. The staff were friendly and ushered us to a table right away. The place was neat and had great dinner vibes. We ordered three things - spring rolls, beef rib pho, chicken vermicelli. Spring rolls were crispy and lots of ingredients. Chicken vermicelli had good amount of meat and the beef rib pho was delicious fall of the bone. I would definitely come back here.

This place is amazing!! My family has been friends with the owner since their Little Saigon restaurant in Richmond Hill. I'm glad they've reopened a new Vietnamese spot! Parking is a little hard to find in this area, but just look around side streets and you should be okay! My family and I shared all the dishes, and it was great to try each one! The vermicelli dish (bun thit nuong cha gio) was deliciously crunchy! The spring roll was fried perfectly and had a lot of flavour. The grilled meats tasted very fresh and were seasoned well. The Hu tieu dish was homey for me, as I hadn't eaten it in a long time. The clear broth was warming, and I was a big fan of the shrimp. The bun rieu was full of tomato/seafood flavour, with tofu puffs that absorbed all the delicious broth. Again, I appreciated the big shrimps and pieces of pork/crab meatball. Finally, the pho with beef ribs was good... but not my favourite. The meat was tender and the broth was clear, but I wasn't a fan of the wine flavour you taste at the end. Can't wait to come back!

I loved the big beef brisket bone soup! And their coconut ice coffee was incredible! I would go back for that coffee.

Have you been to the new pho restaurant on Bloor street? Nang Saigon is the new unique upscale Vietnamese restaurant in town! Their service is quite fast and the interior has a very homey vibe. Their house pho is interestingly infused with red wine and it is served with a MASSIVE beef rib. Their beef ribs is so tender, it falls off the bone! They also serve bun rieu which is really difficult to find around the city. Bun rieu has a very rich and deep crab flavour and their bowl of bun rieu is filled with minced fish cakes, homemade tofu and shrimps. These two dishes just show how much love and care the chefs put into their menus. I also love how pretty the drinks come out! The matcha coconut and coconut coffee are picture perfect and it looks like it's made from a cafe! I would highly recommend and come back to try more dishes on their menu!

Went exploring around Chinatown and came across Nang Saigon. I ordered the pho with rare steak and tripe. This was the best steak flavored broth I've had in awhile which was rich in flavor and savory. And the sliced thin meats and noodles they used were perfectly put into the soup. I will have to try the spring rolls next time.

During our food adventures in Toronto, we we're walking around and low and behold we discovered this amazing place. One the best greetings, and customer service in Toronto, also the first time we was offered a choice regular and warm water. This is a very inviting clean and warm ambience. We started with a mango salad, simply amazing, the flavors were perfectly balanced, so delicious, then came the Braised Beef, so tender and flavorful, and the salad that came along with it was spectacular especially the dressing, which they put their own twist on, and the hint of fish sauce put this over the top. Now for the Pho, the broth perfect, and the beef ribs, tender and delicious. You can taste the chef's passion. One of the best meals we have ever eaten hands down. With the cooler temperatures arriving, put this on your list. Tip: ask for a sweet after meal snack bread with condensed milk drizzled on top, let's try to get this added to the menu.

Their House Rib Pho (N1) is so delicious . If you like pho, I strongly recommend to try it.

Excellent Pho Tai; top notch summer rolls and the best fried spring rolls I've ever had. Lovely service to boot. Don't miss this place.

I ordered the bun bo hue, pho, and spring rolls. The bun bo hue tasted more like a spicy pho broth, and the pho reminded me of the broth at the Michelin recommended restaurant on Ossington. Overall, the bun bo hue and spring rolls were just okay, nothing special. The pho was good if you're looking for something simple. They also put a large piece of beef tendon in the pho, which I loved! One thing I didn't like was that the owner seemed to be rushing us to order, which felt a bit off putting. I'd come back for the pho and spring rolls, but I'm not sure about the other dishes.

This really is soul food when you're feeling sick. My one quarrel with this place is the extremely small wide of their "large soup bowls" this is just terrible. I wish they would just go back to a regular large bowl of soup. This is the smallest "large" pho soup size I've had just about anywhere I've been. Honestly amazing place, but the portion of the soup really really irks me. Also the fried spring rolls are a must try! Incredible every single time.

The dry noodle dishes under the green column use egg noodles & those under the brown use rice noodles but the toppings & sauce are the same. The most pricey rice noodles are Japanese but otherwise the difference is width. Got the thin egg noodle version in large. It's recommended to add pickled garlic & red vinegar. The soup was pretty tasty with a natural sweetness, 2 springy half fishballs & a large, very fresh shrimp. The sauce was basically oyster sauce but pickled garlic, red vinegar, hoi sin & chili sauce were available to add complexity. The noodles weren't wet but were not dry either. Large was a very big bowl it came with minced pork, thin sliced pork beansprouts & greens. The pickled garlic was good. Also got a shrimp fritter on the side for $2.50. It was big with one tiny shrimp. The juxtaposition was comical but it was cheap. It was not warm but the fritter was crispy & tasty. Unfortunately the shrimp itself was dry & brittle. Service was good, especially for an Asian place.

Right down to the non-white washed clientele. I'd always prefer to dine where the "locals" dine, and being in a multicultural city like Toronto, it's difficult to fine a hidden gem that hasn't been invaded by foreigners (I'm laughing inside because I'm not Viet and am disliking myself for being that invader; however, I can pass for a Viet if I just point to the table I want and the menu item I'd like ). So, please keep this place to yourself as I would hate to line up the next time I come.
