Pho An Vu is one of the better viet chains out there. Their food always has a rich flavour and things are well seasoned. Came here on a weekday for lunch and it was relatively easy to grab a table. Wait staff are friendly, don't really do more than asked but that's typical in asian restos. Restaurant has nice ambiance and there's plenty of seating. I ordered the bun bo hue and it came loaded with protein. I was super full when I left. The broth was super tasty and had just the right amount of spice. I only got one thing and ended ip with a price tag of $27 I don't know when it happened but cheap viet food is no more! Definitely worth coming to check out for special occasions. read more

Pho Anh vu is the best restaurant in the area for pho or vermicelli or viet food! We love their dessert/sweet rice flavoured tea, their choice of toppings on the side - pickled garlic, multiple chili options). And the vermicelli dishes are so satisfying in the summer! Unlike the other location, they don't seem to serve the tea iced/cold? This location is smaller than the Eglinton location (I think) so it takes a while to be seated at times). read more

First time at this location and definitely prefer it to the downtown one. Not sure why, but the food here tastes better. Got the: - Beef Rib Noodle Soup: Great portion size. Flavourful and clean broth. Tender beef rib. Yummy marrow. Chewy noodles. - Bun Ga Nuong Cha Gio: Good portion size. Tender chicken strips. Amazing crispy spring rolls. Pretty extensive menu. Service is attentive. Kitchen is quick. Prices are what prices are these days. Bonus points for the lovely interior decor. If I'm in the mood for some Pho Anh Vu, will definitely go to this location. read more

I've been to this location several times and each time the food is delicious, the service is prompt, and the place is busy but cozy. Their pho noodle soup broth is not too salty and clear, just yummy. I like their broken rice dishes and their spring rolls. They only take cash or debit. Want a good bowl of pho noodles, this is your place. read more

Reviewing only for takeout. Very busy, lots of people dining in, but we ordered for takeout and it was prepared quickly and packaged well. Food was good. - Pho raw meat is packaged separately, so the blood doesn't touch everything else. Pho soup could be more flavourful. - Spring rolls and lemongrass chicken were delicious! - chicken wings came with bbq sauce on the side, slightly odd combination, we had it without the sauce. - mango salad with shrimp is spicy!! Did not expect that as my mother in law cannot eat spicy, so she wasnt able to have it. read more

Located in a pretty busy strip mall at Don mills and Lawrence, this Vietnamese restaurant is serving up delicious pho and other viet dishes. There's lots of parking though it can be busy. Inside is decorated and set up nicely, the service was good with people always available for help or questions. Food: We got the wings which were sweet and savory. Very crispy. Comes with a side of vegetables and sticky rice. The porkchop rice was pretty huge. The pork chop was on a slightly drier side though. The pho was very good. Came out hot and filled with noodles and beef. The broth was pretty good though. Price: A bit pricier than other viet places but still good. read more

Food 3/5 Service 3.75/5 Ambience 3.75/5 We arrived for lunch at 12:00pm and we were seated at a table with bench type seating. It was a tight squeeze for the four of us. The trays of the condiments, the box of utensils and napkins at one end of the table met by a wall took a fair amount of table space leaving us further squeezed in. We ordered: Beef Rib Noodle Soup -2 orders Coconut milk beverage with jelly ($8.95.) Grilled Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles Spring rolls When the food arrived, the two orders of the Beef Rib noodle soups arrived in four bowls. One bowl with the beef ribs in broth, with noodles and the second bowl with the beef tendon bone and some broth per order. There was no space on the table for the other dishes. I asked if we could move to a larger table. The restaurant was not yet full at this time and there were several multi tables available that could fit our lunch more suitably. The server helped us to move to the larger table beside the bench seating and carried the soups over. We carried our waters and the utensils over. My personal preference is for fresh noodles but only dry noodles is offered. My broth was not steaming hot as I have enjoyed in other restaurants offering Pho. I don't know if the table change could have resulted in the broth not being steaming hot when we began to eat. The meat on the beef ribs was not tender enough to fall off the bone and my partner felt it was a lot of "work" to cut off the beef and the tendon. We had a lot leftover and packed it to go at the end of the lunch. The beef ribs, personally was much more tender when we reheated the leftovers the next day. My favourite part of the meal was the coconut milk jelly beverage. That was so yummy and filled with coconut and jellies, you had to eat it with a spoon! There is plenty of parking right outside the restaurant and in the parking lot in the plaza. I am not sure that I would return to this restaurant unless for a family gathering and that this location is selected. read more

I have been to a lot Pho places and I can say that this is one of the best ones. Food, presentation, and service are all excellent. The restaurant has a very premium feel, and great thought was done to get that aesthetic. Branding and marketing were also all on point. The printed menu is well designed. Even the chopsticks were not one of those cheap kinds with the white packaging. The place was packed when we came, which was just a few minutes before 1 pm on a Sunday. Our group of 6 people had to wait a short while maybe 5-10 minutes before we were seated.  We were able to sample one of the specialty dishes S4: Bún Bò Huê Ðăc Biêt (Hue style beef special, crab cake, plus a lot of other meat dishes with vermicelli soup) and a vermicelli dish 49: Bún Thit Nuōng Chà Giò Tôm (Grilled pork, spring rolls, and shrimp on sugarcane).  Both of the orders were huge, with ample food variety to pick out and keep busy. The specialty dish, in addition to the beef and crab cake, also has homemade sausage, rare beef, beef shank muscle, ham hock, and blood pudding. We were not able to try any of their rice dishes, but I am sure they would be equally as delectable. This place was a recommendation by a Vietnamese friend who has been to other branches, and I can see why it was. I can see the high standards kept to maintain the dining experience. I can see myself surely coming back to try other branches and the other dishes. read more

Came here for some lunchtime eats and it was busy! Luckily managed to get one of the last booth's. The decor in here is lovely, just so nice looking and clean. There are a few booths, and lots of tables so great for larger parties Decided to share a small beef pho (forget to take a photo..d'oh!) and the broken rice dish - grilled chicken, rice & egg Ok, I'm just gonna say it, that grilled chicken was like buttah baby! It was so delicate and delicious and the knife just slid right through. Often the simplest meals just taste the best ! I'd 100% get this again The beef pho was beefy and all good things pho, but my heart belonged to that chicken lol As usual, all the condiments at the table to spice up your life however you please! Pay at the back - note - only cash or debit read more

Pho Anh Vu - Broken Rice dish - grilled chicken, rice & egg - Vietnamese Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Fantastic Pho and main dishes, flavored and spicy just enough to enjoy and want you to come back for more. Lovely ambience for a busy place, nice decor. Very good service and reasonable prices! The reason I gave it a star down were an egg rolls with shrimp.: the shrimps were not piled well of the scales, since the egg rolls were served hot, I couldn't bite into it, so, I ended up with a pretty burnt upper palate in my mouth... I will recommend the place.... read more

There is a new Pho Anh Vu in Don Mills. Located in the same complex as the Oomomo and there is a C & C supermarket across the parking lot. We came for a later lunch (1:30) and were easily able to secure a table for 5. Interior is very pretty and similar to other Pho Anh Vu locations. When we visited we were told they had been open for 3 weeks. Menu is your standard pho's, broken rice and bun. Food came incredibly quickly, it took minutes. Noodles were slightly too soft. Spring rolls were excellent! Someone at the table ordered the beef bones with marrow pho and was told it was the last portion they had (limited quantities of this item). Because it was the last order they had she was given whatever they had left. Was a very generous portion! Restrooms are unisex and individual stalls. read more

Food: 3 Stars Service: 3.5 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Fill Factor: Filling This is the second Pho Anh Vu location I have eaten at (tried the one downtown as well) and this location replaced the Pho88 that we used to regularly visit each time we made a trip to Oomomo. We recently made another Oomomo trip so figured it was a good chance to see what this Pho Anh Vu location offered. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the decorations and the general vibe of the restaurant is different. The old restaurant used to be a lot more dark/cold but now the restaurant feels much warmer in tone and brighter overall. There are a lot of seats and this location feels spacious and not cramped like the downtown location so this is a big plus. Service was fine overall. The staff were friendly and the food did not take very long to arrive so no issues on that end. The most important part of any restaurant experience has to be the food and the food at this location was good. I ordered the #43 rice with grilled pork, grilled chicken and steamed egg while my partner ordered the grilled pork vermicelli. The food tasted good with flavourful fish sauce and my favourite part of my meal was the steamed egg which tasted much better than how some other restaurants make it. The meat was good as well though the pork in both the vermicelli and rice were a tad on the drier side but not a huge problem. Overall a good addition to the food options in this area. The solid food quality along with the new decor and good service make this a good choice for a meal in this area. Recommend giving it a shot. read more

Pho Anh Vu's Don Mills location opened in December. We came as a party of 5 on New Year's Day, and it was bustling. At 12PM we were able to get a booth immediately, but a line quickly formed throughout our meal. Our orders came out very quickly, probably within 5-10 minutes. I found the portions to be a bit smaller than other Viet restaurants in the city. My small sized pho came out to be $17, and I've definitely had better broths. That being said, it was still a satisfactory meal and perfect for these winter months. read more

This location just opened and I absolutely loved it! We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. The decor and booths were so comfortable and gorgeous. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. We ordered the mango salad which was very fresh and delightful. The spring rolls were also very delicious filled with vegetables and pork. The fish sauce chicken wings were sticky and sweet, highly recommend it! The pho was amazing with a delicious broth and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

This is one of the franchises that we all enjoyed We ordered various food in a very cold winter day. All of us had soups and I ordered their Friday special with exotic ingredients like pork hog, fish patty and beef. The soup was spicy, but good Overall, the service was also good. Only challenge at this place is that the tables are very small with four people in a small Booth is very difficult to maneuver with winter coats My due for full place their prices is high $25 for a bowl of soup and noodle is relatively expensive. I guess right now you get what you pay for and the warning is that they only take cash and debit card read more

New pho place at Don Mills. Interior was decorated beautifully but there was a lot of cold draft so we changed to sit in one of the booths. There's a limited menu similar to other Pho Anh Vu's. Portions look a bit smaller. read more

Great Vietnamese Pho restaurant I've been looking for in this area! I've tried other restaurants but this is a gemstone of a place. Their menu is limited compared to other places but I'd rather go to a place that serves great tasting quality food rather having an expansive menu that falls flat. I've been to this location several times and tried different menu choices and they've been fantastic! The place is nicely decorated and the service is friendly and efficient. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant. read more
