Came here bc it was close to our hotel after a long day of driving. Came an hour before close (11 pm) and felt grateful for the opportunity to have a late night warm cooked meal option. My husband and I both ordered two small no. 15s, which is exactly what we needed after a long travel day. Staff were friendly and food came out quick. They have limited menu options at night and also limited seating options. They don't do their full kitchen so keep that in mind. The late night meal was appreciated but I wish they had more signage or it was clearer when we walked in about the late night limitations (like a separate menu or a roped off seating area). Authentic Vietnamese | Pho noodle soup | Multiple locations This new location from their Dufferin location definitely didn't disappoint. They opened recently so there was definitely a line up to get in. Even at 2:30pm it was still a full house. The dining area was spacious, big and clean however, I did feel that it was a bit too cramped. Each table was too close to each other. There's a beautiful Sakura tree at the door and the washrooms were single stalls, big and clean. Their menu is much more authentic than most Vietnamese restaurants in the area. *NEW HOURS ALERT* The resto is open til 3 am now! My buddy and I came to take advantage of the new hours on a late friday night after a badminton session for a post-workout meal. The menu has been truncated (basically a designated late-night menu). IIRC, there's only a couple of appetizers and pho on this late night menu (no broken rice or vermicelli). I ordered an extra large pho dac biet and some wings to share. Was extremely pleased to note that they gave me more meat in my bowl than at usual dinner hours! Very generous and I was happy that the standards did not drop. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to add pickled garlic to my pho because they were making a fresh batch in the kitchen but I was full and satisfied. This Pho Anh Vu is just aint it. I ordered the Cơm Tấm Sườn Nướng (broken rice with pork chop and chicken), and they were the smallest pieces of meat I've ever seen at a Vietnamese restaurant, but the dish was priced at the premium Pho Anh Vu range (20 dollars). Thanks to the fish sauce (which I assume is standardized in all Pho Anh Vu locations), the flavour was ok, but nothing stood out. Another thing that really disappointed me was that they only had hot water, unlike other Pho Anh Vu locations that gave out pandan leaf tea. I asked the waiter, and he told me the water was the tea...I tasted it again, and it was water. Bro was trying to gaslight me lmaooo. That was ridiculous. The iced coffee was also disappointing - while the flavour was good, they were served in premade plastic cups instead of freshly made ones in the phin filter dripper. The vibe was fine - like the typical, nicely decorated pho anh vu, but that's it. I do not recommend this pho anh vu location. Go to the Vaughn location - it is way better. read more

This was one of my frequent Vietnamese restaurants I enjoyed having dinner every weekend how ever this time it didn't live up to my expectations. Browsing thru their menu I decided to a rare beef and cooked flanked Pho, on the side are the veggies. To my dismay Ifind the noodles too soggy and falls apart when I tried to pick them up with the chopsticks. Overall the soup is good flavorful and light. This plaza parking can get really busy with all the restaurants and the McDonald's drive through so getting in and out was a pain. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has many seats. The cool feature is you sit down and scan the QR code to place your order. It's super efficient service and the server I had was nice and friendly. I love the fact that they had the proper sauces at the table but also had 3 types of chilis (pickled peppers, chopped fresh peppers and chilli oil) I had to use all 3 of them. Fresh shrimp rolls were amazing as a starter dish. Had the special pho (small) and it was very good. The broth was clear and tasted good. The noodle selection I liked better than expected. Came here recently to check out if it was really the best Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond Hill according to my friend. It didn't start off well as they didn't have my reservations and I even had to prove it to the staff from my call history that I did call them as he was questioning if I called the right location. He quickly redeemed himself and told me that he should have a table for me soon and kept updating me every 5 mins. We ordered a variety of dishes to share for the 7 of us. We started with mango salad with shrimp, fresh shrimp rolls, wings and spring rolls which were all amazing....every dish was perfectly flavoured and delicious fillings in the spring rolls. We also had the grilled chicken vermicelli and soup noodles which were good too but the starter items impressed me the most. All in all my family and friends really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was great too. We will definitely be back soon! read more

I had to come to the rhill one after a great experience at the Markham restaurant. The menu is the same, but the food from one did outshine the other one. Service and décor was very similar, although the Markham location seemed to have a higher density of tables. We were seated on the sides with seats to the wall, but the cushions were spaced out ~ a meter apart which made it awkward when they pushed tables together. Fried spring roll - Super thick and super crispy, would highly recommend as an appetizer. The fish sauce was super flavourful and I always look forward to soaking it in the sauce. Shrimp rice roll - This is the non-fried version wrapped in a rice paper with lettuce, pickled carrots, radish and shrimp. The veggies were generous and were fresh. The peanut sauce was delicious and might consider renaming this dish to peanut sauce with shrimp rice roll. Shrimp and papaya salad - Another great appetizer. Shrimp was grilled well. The salad had chillies and fish sauce making it a good balance of sweet, savoury and spicy. The papaya was the perfect texture of crunch. Overall a highly recommended dish. Deconstructed pho - Its not what it is called, but it is basically this. The nice thing is that you can see all the ingredients laid out infront of you before it goes into the soup. This means that you can dip your beef for however long in your bowl to get the beef cooked to your liking. The stone bowl keeps your soup hot a little longer so that you can keep dipping your ingredients. Great idea and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It also came with a beef rib with a lot of beef on it. Definitely coming back for this again. Double chicken steak on broken rice - A bit disappointing after the expectation set from the Markham location. The chicken was cooked, but was not as tasty. It didn't come with the char flavour from the grill. The chicken was not as oily and so the broken rice was not as tasty. Maybe my expectation were high from before, but not looking to get this here again. Small garlic fried chicken wings - A small package of 6 wings that pack a sweet garlicky flavour. The wings as sticky and dense with flavour. The glutenous rice helps mello out the flavour. Getting past the sticky layer, you get to the crispy chicken wing. It was good, but am looking forward to try the spicy deep fried chicken wing. Coconut desert - Would not recommend here, the Markham location does it much better. This one lacks the variety of ingredients that the other one offers. Lots of great dishes but am very disappointed with the broken rice dish. I would come back to this location, but would not order the broken rice as the Markham location does it better. read more

I've heard so much about this place, and I had to go try it for myself. We came as a group of 4 on Sunday around noon, and there was a bit of a wait. But the restaurant was pretty big so it only took 15-20 minutes which wasn't too bad. I wanted to try the pho with the large beef bone since that's what I had heard about but I was told it was sold out. I did hear from someone else waiting that they actually only serve that for dinner. In the end I got the spring rolls and the pho dac biet. I got the small size and my partner got medium. The portions were pretty generous. Soup was good, not too salty. Most importantly the meat tasted fresh and they are pretty generous with it. The spring rolls had bits of shrimp and pork, along with veggies. It was freshly made, hot and crispy. UPDATE REVIEW. Came here for lunch yesterday and even though the restaurant was busy during lunch hour, we were able to get a table within 5 minutes. We ordered the goi cuon, Bun cha hanoi and bun thit nuong through our phone by taking a pic of their QR code provided on the table. We were served cold tea which was nice, since it was really hot yesterday. I noticed a lot of people ordered the big bone pho to share. I didn't care for their pho as I don't like the type of pho noodles they use. It's been opened for a while now and I noticed that the servers are confused about table numbers. Two orders of food came to our table, when it wasn't ours. It was the table beside us. We had to flag someone down to let them know it wasn't our order...TWICE. When our food did come out, which didn't take long at all, I found that the goi cuon was meh. It was very dry and the peanut sauce was very underwhelming, almost bland. I enjoyed the bun cha Hanoi, the pork patty had good flavours and the cha gio that came with my dish was crispy and light, and the grilled pork was okay. mr. Their first location is near Yorkdale Mall and is just as good! Originally got seated at a table for two, but once the waiter saw our order of three dishes, he moved us to a larger table to fit our food items. No complaints here, as that means more room for us! Yay! To start, the condiments on the table are plenty! Make sure you try their pickled sliced garlic, it's so good with your food! Service is also quick and servers are great! Things we got: Special rice noodle soup (Pho) 10/10 - Comes with every type of beef cut/ meat. Broth is super flavourful and comes with a ton of green onions which I love. Portions are generous and there is a ton of meat in the pho. This is a classic and a must get. Bun cha 10/10 - My favourite dish from Hanoi, Vietnam. It really is the most authentic that I've tasted in the city, and I've been on the hunt for it ever since my trip years ago to Hanoi. The pork patties are formed and cooked perfectly and drenched in their sauce. Herbs and lettuce are fresh! If you're looking for something different other than noodle soup, this is it! However, the condiments took up almost half the table so we basically had to shove ourselves to the edge/aisle and people kept on walking up and down. It was definitely the most uncomfortable. They poured way too much soup in such a small bowl so I could see the finger sticking into the soup..... soup base was not bad though but still prefer Pho Tai Bac, Q1 or Photime. Another friend date night and we felt like Viet. Looking for a place in the Hwy7 area and I found this place online and had decent reviews. When we got there it was already busy with more than 10 people waiting, which was a good sign. There was only 2 of us so the wait was surprisingly short. Interior was nice which a big faux cherry blossom tree in bloom at the entrance. I ordered the my go to well done Flank and my friend got the grilled pork Bun. Pho sizes available were medium, large and Xtra large. I went in the middle and got the large. Came out piping hot and it was a good portion size. They had a good assortment of herbs to add to the pho but I found the more bean sprouts and herbs I added the broth became less tasty. I also found the meat pretty lean and over cooked. The noodles was more like Ho Fun noodles than traditional not wide Pho vermicelli noodles which I like more. Overall I was under whelmed. I much prefer the pho at Pho Co Duong near my place. full disclosure, I am quite particular with my pho. I normally don't try Pho in a new Viet place because I am so picky lol. I tend to go to places I know for Pho. This place seemed quite popular though, so I would recommend someone who likes Pho to try for themselves. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. They have a special pho that is served at 11am. The pho comes with 2 beef ribs with lots of meat on it and a beef bone with tendon which comes on a separate bowl. I think it's great value for $21 that's why it is sold out so quickly. Beef soup base is tasty and the portion is huge. You probably can't finish this if you don't a big appetite. The special pho is usually sold out before 12:30pm though. I also tried their grilled pork with spring roll on rice vermicelli. Again, a lot of meat and tasted great. Their special pho that is served at 4:30pm is a stone bowl pho that comes with 1 beef rib with a platter of meat on the side. Be careful to not overflow the stone bowl as the soup is super hot. I would suggest to pull the beef rib out first and put the raw beef and veggies in first to cool down the soup. Overall, I think this is an authentic Vietnam restaurant. Tasty beef soup base with little to no msg. Good portion of food but the price is slightly higher than average. If you are hungry and is craving viet food, this is the place to be. Wow, love this place! We were meeting up with friends and needed to pick a place that was in the area. I'm pretty much always up for Vietnamese food, so we decided to give this place a try. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for the recommendation! 3 of us ended up all ordering the vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring rolls. So good! I love the think vermicelli noodles that they use, and that they paid attention to my request for my bean sprouts to be cooked first. They also provide an abundance of fresh basil, mint and cilantro which I prefer to shred up into my noodles. Many of the leaves were bruised and I am not sure they rinsed them off because they had a powder on them. So I just gave them a quick rinse first and picked out the bad ones. The chicken was well cooked with a lovely char flavour. It wasn't over done or over marinated, so the texture of the meat was still nice. My partner got the Pho Dac Biet which was amazing. The broth was a good flavour - not too salty. The toppings were abundant and the portion size was perfect. The noodles were my favourite part. It has the idea chewy texture that I want in my rice noodles. The location was a little run down - our booth was peeling. I think they did design a nice, open space, but it would help if they just tidied it up a little given that it's aged. The bathrooms are really spacious. They're unisex, and I just recommend to the business that they check more frequently. All three stalls were really gross when I needed to go to the bathroom. read more

On a Monday, around their time of opening at 11 am, I called to place an order. They picked up the phone relatively quickly, then asked for my name and order. I was told it would take about 20 mins for my food to be ready. Upon entering, I was surprised with how beautiful their decor is. Definitely very different from many other Pho restaurants I've been to which are typically more low-key. This place has a beautiful flower tree near the entrance and spacious seating. Being around 11:30 am, there were a handful of groups dining in. I ordered two VERMICELLI BOWLS, one with GRILLED CHICKEN, and the other with GRILLED PORK AND SPRING ROLL. I definitely recommend their grilled pork over the chicken as it was much more flavorful. I also felt like the pork portions were better than that of the chicken. The spring roll was very on point as well, so I feel that's a must get item. They serve their bowls with a side of lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts, and (barely) any shredded carrots - so I do wish they had pickled carrots and radish instead, but that's okay. Their fish sauce was tasty but less vinegary than some of the other places I've tried. I never say no to crushed peanuts and they even serve with a side of REALLY HOT peppers. This is my go to pho place when I'm around yorkdale. I am so glad they opened a location in Markham. Owners are super friendly and nice. I came here 2 times in a row this week. Our group of 7 ordered the bo bun hue, chicken wings, crab spring roll and pho special. There were all really delicious and arrived nice and hot, just like how it tastes at their original location. The bo bun hue is my favourite and you can only get it ( Fri, sat,sun) and it's highly recommended you do because I've never tasted as good as this place makes it! AND chicken wings.. if there's anything you must get 85 has to be their chicken wings. THEY ARE DELICIOUS !! New pho spot in the area. It's probably my favourite pho spot. It gets super busy on the weekend and we had to wait maybe 20 mins for a table of 3. You place your order on your phone with the QR code on the table. It's nice to see more pho spots opening up as Pho Xin Chao down at Yonge closed down. While it's also my favourite pho spot it's also the most expensive spot around with a large bowl costing a whopping 18.95. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (18.95) and it was giant. While you're paying a hefty price, there's a TON of toppings, noodles and broth. This broth is the most rich pho broth I've had so far. Great toppings, with a mix of rare beef, beef balls and tripe. Friend is very picky about this , among MANY places we have tried (including downtown TO), only 2 places got thumbsup (Pho Anh Vu is the 2nd place) 2. Chicken wing is surprisingly good. It has subtle sweetness and covered with fried garlic. Flavor is well balanced and no dripping sauce or bit strong of fish-sauce kinda taste. Recently opened in the neighborhood, already a hit with the local residents. Welcome flower arrangements still staged around the front entrance. Normal menu Vietnamese food items. Went for the pho, although many people were ordering the grilled lemon grass pork which looked pretty good. My beef pho served hot and the soup was filled to the bowl brim. Plenty of rare beef slices, hope this continues and not just for the new opening. Noodles not overcooked and still firm to the bite. The slight cinnamon smell of the broth was intoxicating on a cold winter day. They actually gave you a whole red chilli pepper which is normally hard to get in the local Vietnamese restaurants I've eaten at. Chili pepper was super hot, normally I mash up the pepper in fish sauce and pour the mixture into the soup until the spiciness is at a level to my preference. The rest I use as a dipping sauce for the beef and noodle. Staff were surprisingly courteous and efficient. Tried out this pho place on the weekend in order to try their weekend specials. Our party of three waited for 15 mins or so. The turnaround is fast since the restaurant is big and service is quick. We opted for the rare beef noodle soup, their special bo bun hue, the beef rib pho and an order of spring rolls. Overall the broth was very flavourful and portion sizes were quite generous. I took one star off because I felt my noodles for the bo bun hue were overcooked so the noodles were a little too soft for my liking. The spring rolls were also just okay. I felt the skin wasn't crispy enough and the filling inside the spring rolls weren't seasoned enough. I do like their condiment of offerings which include the normal hot sauce and hoisin sauce. They also provided different types of chillies and pickled garlic and peppers (which I loved). This place accepts cash or debit only. You can order via a QR code or with the server. Good portion size authentic Viet cuisine with decent quality meats and freshness. Parking: Lots of parking in the plaza but it gets busy during lunch time and dinner time. Ambiance: They put a lot of effort into the decor, well renovated, curated and traditional - but modern Food: Delicious high quality meals come quickly no matter what you order. From the deep fried spring rolls, the fresh rolls, the pho and the special dishes (stone bowl pho, dino sized bone pho) You will enjoy what you eat. Service: Service is quick, top notch. Sometimes a little too quick actually. You order on their website through the QR code or there is a menu on the table if you're oldschool. First off let set the stage, the price of food here is definitely not cheap! $16 for a small noodle, even with the post COVID inflation adjustment it is more like price at The downtown banking center area! However with the higher price, I comes with a higher quality of food. The soup is clear and flavorful. The meat is tender, not just some cheap barely eatable cut. The herb, I'm surprised to see Saw leaf actually served. It uncommon up here in the northern part of town, I can't recall any other restaurant up here actually has it! Restaurant is relatively new, so seating is clean is comfortable. I'll recommend this place for occasional visit only, mainly because of the price. read more

This is my favourite pho place in the GTA! They have a lot of locations but this is the only one that I've been to. It's a nice setting and a bit more modern than other pho places. It also kind of has a fancy cafe vibe with decorative flowers and a pretty big tree at the front. They provide menus with some pictures to look at but you can place your order via a QR code that you scan with your phone. They provide a light tea as a starter beverage. I tried the Soda Chanh off the lemon which is like a limeade which was super refreshing. The #15 Pho Dac Biet was a big hit at our table as it has a bit of everything. I had the Pho Tai which is just rare beef. There are 3 sizes of the pho and they're pretty good portions. They include a lotttt of beef here. I legit finished the noodles before I finished the beef...that never happens! The broth is very developed and didn't lose its flavour as I kept eating. I find that sometimes the bean sprouts that I add will eventually kind of lose their water into the broth and water it down. Didn't happen this time, yum! read more

I came here twice within a month. Yes! It was so good that I had to come back a second time and ordered the exact same dishes. First dish I got was the beef ribs pho that was only available during lunch. The beef ribs fell off the bones, the soup base was tasty, and the pho was great too. But on my second visit, one of the beef ribs wasn't cooked long enough. The meat sticked to the bone, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Second must try dish is the fish sauce chicken wings with sticky rice. These wings are heavenly. The sauce on the wings has a sweet tone and a chewy texture. The wings were very juicy. Definitely one of the best wings I ever had. Service was fast. The table was a bit small. I would come back again to try other dishes. read more

This is a Hue style beef special with crab cake, homemade sausage, rare beef. It tasted good and a bit spicy. Out of my expectation, the portion was not that big and yet charged $20+, I felt it's a bit pricey. read more
