I give 5 stars infrequently, but the food here impressed me. Very decent pricing for the portions (not too expensive, but also not super generous....could give more noodles) The broth was clean, flavourful and not overly msg'y....need was nice and tender. The bun was really good and I'd order that again. We also had a banh mi and the fresh bread indicates that their curry must be good. Will try that next time. A great dinner before a movie in the same'ish plaza. Parking is crazy, but not untypical of a strip plaza. Washroom was relatively clean.

Used to come to the store before it changed ownerships. I will have to say the decoration in here matches the vibes of all those viral locations around the GTA. The service is always on point here. To be honest, we probably come here once a month. It is one of our go to just because it is close to home. The food is always delicious and never disappoints.

We stopped in to grab a comforting meal on a brisk night and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine served here. We ordered 2 pho soups, one with the rib bone and the other a plain pho tai, and an interesting salad with taro chips. The soups cames boiling hot with loads of protein. The broth was nothing special but tasty. The taro salad added a nice amount of veg to our meal and was savoury & flavourful. I like it when Viet places have pickled garlic slices, which Pho Nga Son did. I find that it adds so much depth when added to the pho. Overall, our experience here was fantastic and we would likely come back when we're in the area!

Very beautiful decors inside the restaurant. There aren't too many seats available but it doesn't seem like it gets too busy. We had a table for 6 and were seated in a booth which was good considering there were 3 kids. I would say this place is a nice alternative to Nam Pho if you want to sit down and eat. I really enjoyed the pho broth. It was flavourful. Also the spring rolls filling was really good and delicious. The chicken was okay, it wasn't my favourite because it had a lot of hard small stuff. Not sure where it's from but it was still good. Definitely would come again since it's near my place and will bring my friends for next time.

This is located in a plaza on the east side of Yonge Street right in the corner beside TD Bank First impressions is that the decor is visually interesting though quite dark inside and the menu seemed to have a very decent variety of Vietnamese dishes ranging from pho to bun rieu. My other half and I came around 2 on a Monday afternoon and was surprised to see the place was still largely filled though we were seated right away. Servers were speaking Vietnamese for those that care to know and were provided the menus. We ended up with shrimp fresh rolls though they did have about 6 other options. I got the bun rieu, and other half got the bun bo hue as well as a side of grilled chicken. Portion sizes were very decent for the price, speaking of which is pretty on par with any other Vietnamese restaurant out there ($17.50 for each of the soups). But this is where things start to take a turn. The fresh rolls looked like they were made in hurry as they were visually "lumpy" but were tasty with the side of peanut sauce provided. The bun rieu was very unexpectedly not good. While portion sizes was solid there was only one shrimp and two fake crab meat sticks to distinguish it as bun rieu compared to regular pho. The fish seemed to be a weird step up from pho in terms of the noodles and ingredients. So imagine getting a pho, bit adding in a shrimp and two crab meat sticks and calling it bun rieu. The bun bo hue also followed the same theme adding in a pork hock and blood jello. Can not recommend either dish sadly, but perhaps the pho and other dishes are better? The size grilled chicken does come with a very strong charcoal grill flavor which was decent. Overall this place is decent and if your a local and have a craving for Vietnamese this is a good spot, if not the only spot in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit our recommend traveling to try this place given the many other places located along hwy 7 now.

After a long hike, my go to meal is a bowl of pho. I checked out this restaurant today and got their Pho combination and a bun (with beef). There was no option for sizes. The pho broth was on the sweeter side but came with plenty of meat. The bun was also flavourful but the highlight of the dish was the deep fried spring rolls. It's hard to find places that make the spring rolls with taro.

Food: 3.5 stars. Decor and services: 4 stars. Overall rounded up to 4 stars. Pho Nga Son is not really hidden, but it is definitely not the most noticeable restaurant in the mall. It is tucked at a corner in the back, with line of sight to its storefront blocked by another restaurant. For those who blaze the trail, they are rewarded with authentic Viet food. Does it taste better than other authentic Viet places, traditional or contemporary? I don't think so. But it is authentic nevertheless. The decor is beautiful. The services is attentive. I enjoyed my meal, but I usually don't spend this much for lunch.

Service - Seated quickly. As we ate an early dinner, it was empty. People came in steadily after us. The young man that took our first round of orders were attentive. The second round, when another gentleman, took out order, he got 2 of our orders wrong. We ordered a takeout flat noodles with chicken but they gave us beef. We asked for coke with our second takeout order - banh mi combo with fries and drink and they gave us diet coke. Haf to ask them to switch out the drink. Regardless of you paying in cash or card, you still have to go up and pay. However, you get a cash discount. 3/5 Ambiance - lit well with lots of seats. They booth seat was surprisingly well cushioned. Seems like they have a lot of tables too. 4/5 Food tasted fine. Definitely a smaller portion than most places but surprisingly filling with the soup. It tastes like the pho broth but it's supposed to be chicken broth. The meat was well seasoned. Despite how thin the meat is, it wasn't too dry. 3.5/5

More westernized than traditional pho places. Bone marrow tartar is surprisingly only $12 and pretty tasty!

The interior is nicely done, fairly large area. The food was good but I felt like the portion was smaller than other Pho restaurants.

Been roughly just over a year since my friends and I visited this place during their soft opening…read more Food quality has seemed to remain consistently good since then! Recently came back w/ my parents as this has now become one of their de facto go-to's for viet food in Richmond Hill along w/ Ngon Corner (replacing Green Lemongrass). They are SOOO busy now as they have a loyal student customer base during the school months (conveniently being right next to Bayview Secondary). They run student deals as well as lunch specials. On this visit, I opted for curry beef brisket rice as my mom told me that she tried it w/ my dad and they vouched for it. The curry was quite flavourful and there were a LOT of big brisket chunks running through the curry so I was pleasantly surprised. Got an additional iced lemon tea for no extra charge which was so awesome! The staff recognize my parents now because they've been going quite regularly lately lol. Gotta bring my friends back again sometime to complete a full circle moment.

It's flavourful, both fatty and lean, tender, juicy... basically perfect for the grill. There's an option to add an egg, which I skipped. The dish comes with a small salad drizzled in balsamic vinegar, plus some pickled daikon radish and carrots. A small dish of sweet and tangy fish sauce is included too, perfect for pouring over the rice. Fantastic flavors all around. I cleared the plate and would definitely order it again, though they have a lot of other dishes I want to try too. They're currently running a promo where you get a free drink with any order! Not advertised anywhere (from what I saw), they just casually mentioned it after we ordered. The iced lemon tea was refreshing, with sliced lemons on top, and served in a large cup, which I highly appreciate. Not one of those tiny takeout ones that's gone in a few sips. Service is very friendly. Lots of free parking. Just a heads up, they only accept debit or cash.

Service was relatively fast despite it being very busy. Team was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the second time i was there, my bun bo hue toke way longer to arrive, the table was halfway done there meals when my bowl finally arrived. A little bit of communication would have been nice, just got the "it's coming" the two times I asked about where it was, no timeline or anything. Spring rolls were kind of bland, no real flavour - however the crunchiness hits the spot. Bun bo hue when it arrives is truly amazing! The perfect amount of spice - makes you sweat a bit without killing you - you can still taste everything you're eating! I do prefer Toronto's Pho Anh Vu over the Vancouver location, somehow the Bun Bo Hue doesn't hit the same over here.

The place is quite small and they get busy so expect some crowding. The food was delicious and had exceptional flavour and quality. My partner and I had the Bun Bo Hue (5/5) and the Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice (5/5). Bun Bo Hue was filled with meat and blood pudding. It was not as spicy as I had hoped it would be but the flavour profile was irresistibly good. Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice had ample portions of meat. They were tender and juicy. As I mentioned, the place gets busy and packed. We were a group of 8 and I tried to book a reservation a couple of days prior to our visit. To our disappointment, they did not accept reservations at all. The wait time was quite long since we were such a big group. This was quite hectic and stressful for the servers. Hopefully this can be considered in the future for big groups (8 people and above) to make the service smoother.

First off everything was not bad but I found it to be just average tasting nothing blew me away. I must note that the satay chicken skewers were way too spicy, to the point where it was literally inedible. It's not a bad location. Inside the T&T plaza at woodbine and 16th. Not sure if I'll be back to try the pho as it doesn't look overwhelming judging by this appetizer platter. It's a shame, I really love pho and wanted to love this place. But, there are many Vietnamese restaurants around and I don't think this one will be in my rotation. Sorry folks, my recommendation is try Pho Anh Vu or Ngon Corner which are nearby.

The restaurant is well-lit, clean, spacious & modern looking. Parking in this plaza is relatively easy since the lot is huge! We went on Christmas Eve around 6:15 p.m. The place was pretty quiet and we got seated right away. I ordered the Bún bò Huế. The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor although on the oily side for me which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & ingredients making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. We believe that there is taro in the roll which makes it so yummy. I really liked the decor of this place! We both agreed that this is definitely a place to be included in our rolling list of Pho restaurants to eat at!
