A hidden gem for Vietnamese food in Scarborough! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the Bún Chả Hà Nội and Pho Beef Bone Marrow really stood out. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the portions were incredibly generous. What makes this place even better for families is the thoughtful setup. The restaurant is clean, has high chairs and a changing table, and it's located inside the Woodside, making it easy to turn dinner into a fun family outing. Friendly service, free parking, and a great overall experience. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! read more

Got recommended to come to this place by a viet friend. It had nice decor inside. We tried the pho house special, no pictures as my family dug in before I could take a pic. It was loaded with meat! The broth was clear and tasty. We also tried the spring rolls which my 4 year old devoured 2 whole ones before anyone could touch it. I guess it was that good because I didn't even get a chance to try it. The chicken wings were good as well. We also got the fresh rolls, but I didn't really like it as it had shredding lettuce. The bun bo hue was good, even though we asked for less spicy, it was still spicy to me! I loved that I didn't feel thirsty after unlike some viet restaurants. This means they don't use a crazy amount of MSG. Would definitely come back! read more

Really tender chicken for the laksa soup and the coconut flavour really comes out for the flavour. The Bun Bo Hue was very standard and the serving size is pretty good, I would say it's bigger than Linh Ahn. Lots of seating and the wait time wasn't too bad (15~) read more

I was passing Pho Day, took 1 look inside and knew I had to eat there. It's so beautiful on the inside, oh goodness, decor 10 out of 10! My pho was delicious, and they had all my favorite condiments. While the food and ambiance were great. Service was non existent. After i was seated, I sat there for over 10 mins waiting for someone to approach me to take my order. I watched as they grouped at the front counter talking, going to everyone's table but mine...so weird. At one point I thought about leaving. Please train your staff members to approach the guests after they are seated. They just gave me the menu, I ordered, when I was done eating I walked up to the front paid and left. read more

Finally got the chance to try this place out. I must say, they are very generous with the meat, which I thoroughly enjoy. I prefer more meat than noodles in my pho, and by far, this is the place that serves the perfect amount. The soup taste could be better, but it's not bad. The service is good, no complaints, and the best part is that all the sauces and utensils are right next to your table, so there's no hassle to keep asking for service. The area is spacious and the noise level is decent. read more

Pho Day has a beautiful interior and plenty of seating. They offer a bone marrow broth and a number of extra sides to add to your pho if desired. The bone marrow pho itself is decent, but definitely leaves something to be desired. I thoroughly enjoyed the Thai green milk tea that they offered, though! The service is quick and efficient, which is helpful if you're trying to eat quickly. I'm not likely to return, but it's not a bad spot for a quick bite. read more

Came here yesterday for lunch. There was a good amount of people dining, but since the restaurant is quite spacious, we did not have to wait for a table and got seated pretty quickly. I ordered the large beef ball and rare beef pho. It came with a lot of meat and it is easily shareable between two people, so my dad and I shared. Service was also good and very efficient. read more

Our first visit was disappointing after reading many reviews and receiving feedback. The restaurant was fairly empty, but we had to sit in designated areas. The beef rib rice noodle ($20.95) came with two skinny bones and a separate bowl for the large bone with tendons. I was surprised at the dark, murky, salty pho broth (which should be clear), and it lacked any depth of flavor. The beef was chewy and needed more simmering! The grilled pork vermicelli with a spring roll (16.95) was good. There are many Vietnamese restaurants in Scarborough, so this was an eye-opener. 2.5 stars read more

My notes on this place: - very pretty place - spacious - tidy - service was prompt - selecselections on the menu - Prices are ok too - I got the bone marrow and went to heaven. It seems hard to find bone marrow on in restaurants.. -my friend and I enjoyed it so much that we bought the membership card that allows discount when we go there to eat. Was super excited to try this place but it was average at best Decor is gorgeous! Gives off Vietnam vibes lol . The waitress was super friendly and helpful Food was the disappointing part . Tried both the bun bo hue and Vermicelli pork with crab spring rolls. Portion size for the Vermicelli was pretty small given the price . I usually can't finish the dish but this time even tho I ate before I could finish most of it . Grilled pork wasn't that toasty either - it was actually inconsistent as someone else also got this at our table and hers was toasty ! The crab spring was good though .. very crispy Something interesting is their vip card which gives you 10 % off for future purchases . You only get the card if you spend over 100. For birthdays .. they give you a free cake! read more

There have been several new Vietnamese restaurants opened in North Scarborough over the past year and I've been to most, if not all of them. Phở Day, located in Woodside Square, is the newest one. The place is nicely decorated with blossoming trees, murals, and intimate lighting - very tastefully done. With three of us here for lunch, we had * Rare Beef and Well Done Flank Rice Noodle Soup * Grilled Pork Spring Rolls Vermicelli Noodles * Grilled Chicken Spring Rolls Vermicelli Noodles The flavours were very good and the portions were quite generous, resulting in leftovers. If you like Vietnamese cuisine, check this place out! read more

We've been here a couple of times and it's a solid spot! You can order via QR code now at each table which is pretty convenient. If you're craving bun bo hue, this is our favourite spot. The meat portions and broth are chefs kiss. This time me and my partner tried the seafood laksa and bone marrow pho. The broth for the seafood laksa was rich and creamy. It was really nice that the restaurant let us substitute for rice noodles. However, we did think the seafood portion of the bowl was a bit underwhelming since it came with 3 shrimp pieces, one albalone, and quail eggs. The bone marrow pho was good too. The bone marrow added more flavour to the broth. The soup itself had lots of meat. But by the end of the dish, I was left with lots of noodles and not enough broth. So we would stick to just getting bun bo hue next time. Unfortunately, while we were there it was pretty hot inside the restaurant. So either the AC was not very strong or the restaurant doesn't have very good ventilation. Overall, it is a good value for the food and would recommend if you want to try some new dishes. read more

The spring rolls were delicious but very small one roll was about 10cm long and half an inch diameter. My sister got the beef ribs pho which was way too much for her to finish definitely bang for your buck. I never tried bone marrow pho and I found it so delicious. Service was very fast and patient, they were quick to take our order after sitting. Ambiance was super nice filled with colourful fake flowers and lots of decorations. Was a nice layout with plenty of seating. Highly recommend bang for your buck! read more

Came for dinner on a weekday. It's well decorated and spacious. Midland and Finch has a bunch of pho options, but over here at Sandhurst? Literal desert when it comes to pho. Got the house special pho that comes with all the options. I found the broth to be quite subtle. Actually incredibly subtle. So pretty good they don't just dump a bunch of MSG and try to get away with that as flavour. But flavours could be stronger. Portion wise, not great. Could be bigger. Bone marrow was very nice. Their bread is also very toasty. I hope this means their sandwiches are also very good. read more

Heard great things about this spot, and it didn't disappoint! The inside is very spacious and nicely decorated with faux cherry blossom trees. We were seated quickly on a Friday night and the staff were friendly and attentive. I got the bone marrow pho and my friend got the grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli, the portions for both dishes were enormous and we were able to take home half as leftovers to eat the next day! The food was very tasty with lots of meat/toppings compared to noodles. All in all, a great experience, definitely recommend checking Pho Day out. read more

One of our current go to places for Vietnamese food. Pho broth is always on point. Meals are good portions. Prices are in line with the competitive area. Menu selection is pretty extensive, with something for everyone including broken rice, bun cha and banh mi. Highly recommend Pho Day and thumbs up for their loyalty program! read more

Extremely big portions that still maintain quality!!! the food is extremely authentic as well. The price is a bit cheaper than other pho places too, which makes it a plus! Service can improve and the tea is always lukewarm to cold. Decor ressembles Pho Anh Vu a little too much, but at least it's giving that modern pho resto aesthetic!! read more

Food was alright. Portions were good. Lots of meat in the large beef pho. Overall, good experience.

This Vietnamese pho restaurant is of average quality. The chicken wings are not particularly good, and they are on the sweet side, but overall the food quality is decent. 呢間越南pho嘅quality就一般。雞翼唔算話特別好食，而且偏甜，但整體食物質素嚟講不過不失。 read more

This is located inside Woodside Square Mall area as the mall is revamping to improve overall. This Pho place is open until 4AM apparently. The seating is quite a bit. We started with the crispy spring roll- $8.95 (2pcs), Well done flank and beef ball rice noodle soup (L)- $18.95, Grilled pork crab spring roll vermicelli noodles - $20.95, Side Beef Brisket soup ($6.95), Viet Ice Coffee- $6 The crispy spring was okay, the pho noodle soup is good taste and meat quality appears good. My grilled pork spring roll is a bit interesting as there is vermicelli noodles and lettuce to wrap it... I like the condiments on the side with the chilli, garlic and all. The ice viet coffee was not that good. Overall the menu is simple and good overall. read more

This is your standard pho joint. They have everything you'd expect from a pho restaurant menu. Their pho itself is good, it always comes out hot which is what you want from your soup. Their ingredients taste fresh. I love getting their fresh rolls too. Their service is quick, and the restaurant has cute deco - including a (fake) cherry blossom tree haha. The decor is very nice and helps sets it apart from other Vietnamese restaurants. Unfortunately, the pho is very bland and is missing beef flavour as well as any aromatics. It came out a little bit on the lukewarm-side. The large special pho costs $18.95 but is a little sparse with the meat. I got one beef ball cut in half, two thin strips of tripe, but a fair amount of the rare beef. The noodles are different from most other places: they're very thin and flat so they're a little soft. read more

Pho here gives you plenty of meat that melts in your mouth. The broth is not salty and although subtle, has a complex flavor. Their plate portions is very reasonable for the price. You get your money's worth without sacrificing the taste The only thing I find lacking is the grilled beef option from their Broken Rice and Vermicelli menu. Normally this option is always available to most Vietnamese restaurant. In addition, their grilled items are a bit lacking of that barbecue smell or flavour. Hope they improve their grilling method. The place compare to other Vietnamese restaurants, this one has good layout and quite spacious and very clean. My family are now one of their regulars. Trust me I've tried most Viet resto here in Scarborough and this is on top of my list. Simple menu and not pretentious and very clean! read more

This new restaurant opened across the street from my place of residence and I'd have to say it's a total gem. The service and food are very good. The atmosphere and ambiance is comforting and inviting. The menu is quite easy to understand/navigate as well. What separates them from other Vietnamese Restaurants is their option to have diced fresh, raw garlic mixed with raw peppers. Extra heat satisfies my urge for hot, spicy foods. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a craving for good, authentic Pho. The Vietnamese coffee is also very pleasing to the refined palate. read more
