Ordered the T24 House Appetizer, the combo with assorted appetizers. It came with a viet spring roll, 3 veggie spring rolls, meatballs, shrimp wrapped sugarcane, and satay chicken skewers. First off everything was not bad but I found it to be just average tasting nothing blew me away. I must note that the satay chicken skewers were way too spicy, to the point where it was literally inedible. It's not a bad location. Inside the T&T plaza at woodbine and 16th. Not sure if I'll be back to try the pho as it doesn't look overwhelming judging by this appetizer platter. It's a shame, I really love pho and wanted to love this place. But, there are many Vietnamese restaurants around and I don't think this one will be in my rotation. Sorry folks, my recommendation is try Pho Anh Vu or Ngon Corner which are nearby. read more

Found another Pho place somewhat close to home! Photime is located in the same plaza where the T&T supermarket is at the Northeast corner of Woodbine and 16th & is next to the aquarium store. The restaurant is well-lit, clean, spacious & modern looking. Parking in this plaza is relatively easy since the lot is huge! We went on Christmas Eve around 6:15 p.m. The place was pretty quiet and we got seated right away. I ordered the Bún bò Huế. The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor although on the oily side for me which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & ingredients making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. We believe that there is taro in the roll which makes it so yummy. I really liked the decor of this place! Met up with some friends for some Friday night fun and we decided to go to Pho Time for dinner beforehand. We been here before several times and always was a safe bet. I always thought the Pho was one of the best I had in the GTA and it's always an easy pick to come here. We started with the salt and pepper squid and beef satay to start. I liked the squid although I thought it was over battered and a tad oily, but the squid was nicely cooked inside. The beef skewers were nicely seasoned and had a nice kick to them. Although it they didn't come with a dipping sauce that we thought a satay would. I ordered my go to Flank Pho. To be honest I was a little disappointed as it wasn't as flavourful as previous times. My whole crew came by on a sat evening after badminton to grab some grub as we had been scrolling through yelp and saw that this place had a pretty high rating. It's located right next to the TnT supermarket at Woodbine and 16th and there's a ton of parking in the lot. For the most part, the appetizers were pretty good! The shrimp fresh rolls were not however. The sauce was too watery and didn't have the right consistency (it should be thick) or flavour profile (should be way more peanut-based than hoisin-based). Aside from the peanuts sprinkled on top, the dipping sauce had barely any essence of peanut in it which made the sauce lacking. The rolls themselves were heavily filled w/ vermicelli and lettuce to the point of it being too much. I know they're supposed to butterfly the shrimps but we got maybe 1-2 shrimps per fresh roll which was DEFINITELY STINGY in my honest opinion. Skip the fresh rolls altogether. The wrap and roll platter looked amazing. I think it's a showstopper when it arrives at the table. The cookery on the meat is also excellent. Noodle soups all tasted pretty good. The caveat was the portioning. While my friends' bowls all had an ample amount of sliced beef, I myself had ordered a curry brisket pho and it was NOT worth it at all. They gave me 3 pieces of brisket, 2 ultra-chewy tendons and the rest of the bowl was noodles (all while charging $17!). Extremely, extremely stingy on the portion of meat. The curry broth was really good but I felt jilted that my friend's got so much more food than me. Lesson learned. If I ever come back I'm not ordering any noodle soup outside of P1 - P7 as they're all a bunch of ripoffs. Coconut smoothie and tri colour dessert were good. Not too sweet but very refreshing. It has been a while since my last review on Pho Time although we visited this venue often. Today we tried the satay raw beef soup pho, pork chop & egg rice and shrimp rolls; in addition this was my first time to try their Vietnamese dripped coffee. Foods are always good here, but the coffee is a bit pricey and not that aromatic, I've had better Vietnamese coffee elsewhere. Service is always prompt and good, everybody is welcoming. Loved the space, loved the food! It was my first time visiting Pho Time this weekend and it's left quite a good impression. I'm no expert on Viet food at all, but this is some of the tastiest Viet food I've had in Markham. We tried the rice with grilled chicken, several bowls of Pho, and spring rolls. The rice and chicken was super delicious! Chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. The Pho warmed my soul. I got the Beef Flank Pho in regular size and was surprised by the generous portion sizes. They gave a very healthy amount of beef for this economy! On top of all of that, Pho Time is a very comfortable restaurant to sit in. Found Pho Time on a whim and glad we did! Make your own rolls platter: Our daughter picked the Banh Hoi platter, and it was a first time for us, so we were pleasantly surprised by the presentation. The rice paper wrappers come in a half circle container with warm water to soften the wrapper. I appreciated that the meats were cut in long strips, so they stayed in the wrapper easily even though I didn't wrap them tight enough, very user friendly. Pho: The grilled chicken was served separately from the pho. The chicken was flavourful and moist, delicious! Service and space: The restaurant was large and spacious. The servers were very attentive and polite. My husband had come in and left a couple times prior to ordering, and the staff didn't bother us as they could see I was struggling with a rowdy preschooler. Right when I said we would order soon to my daughter, someone was already at our table to take our order! The food also came out really fast! I was impressed! The cutlery stand on our table was out of spoons for the pho, but as we arrived at non-peak eating times, and most likely the staff break time, that was not a big concern for us. My husband took a spoon from another vacant table. The restaurant was not busy with only about 5 or 6 tables as it was mid-afternoon, but the workers still worked hard and work fast, which is typical of good Asian restaurants. My other half had a craving for pho and after a quick search on Yelp Pho Time caught our eye with its decor. Pho time is located in a plaza on Woodbine and 16th on the north east corner close to T and T. We arrived on a Sunday around 11:50 am and were lucky as two tables were just leaving so we got a booth for a party or 3 including a 16 month old. The booth seating was quite spacious and two adults plus a high chair seat could fit across on bench albeit a bit squeezed, it's possible. We were seated and service was quick to get us tea. A quick walk through on the menu we ordered and the food came out nearly instantly. I got the large pho special with everything, and though the price was no different then other places nearby things certainly have gotten pricey ($18 for a bowl of large pho). My other half gotba vermecelli bowl and everything proportionally was well sized, appealing and tasty. So though it's pricey it was pretty decent over all experience. The server taking our order also asked us how many bowls we needed to include our little one. Service was fast and friendly. If my untrained ear is correct I heard a mix of Mandarin, Cantonese, and Vietnamese amongst the servers. Overall this place is family friendly though be careful as it seemed that there was a regular build up of lines every hour as people came and left. Had P3 - Rare Beef and Beef Flank Pho - Very good. Based on the good reviews on Yelp, we decided to try this place today. Arrived around noon on Saturday. We expected that there would be a line up given the popularity and that it was Saturday - but the place was not busy at all, and we were immediately seated. Good thing but then a little bit of anxiety hit me - "is this one of those places that had initial popularity without quality and people don't come back?" I countered this assumption with another assumption "this must be because of the location!" Pho Time is in a small plaza in a residential area a bit north away from the food competitive Markham-Richmond Hill border. In short, the pho was great. We ordered #P3 Pho with Rare Beef and Frank. I ordered it with fresh noodles, and asked for the rare beef on the side. (I like the rare beef to be rare). My partner had the same #P3 but with dried noodle. We both enjoyed the well prepared Flank beef (perfectly done, melty tender) and the broth. The broth hit the perfect balance. Smooth, clear, not too salty, not too sweet, well rounded with deep layers of flavor. I am glad that I asked for the rare beef on the side. It was generous amount and fresh. My fresh noodles were softer, butterly, flatter and springier than dried ones. My partner's dried noodles were thinner and chewier than the fresh ones. The both were well integrated with the soup! One disappointment was the bean sprouts that came as a topping. It was served warm, not fresh. Not bad but I prefered fresh ones. By the time we left, I noticed the place was almost full. Horrible. It's my second visit and I'm never coming back. I ordered Pad Thai chicken. I should have known it's a trap to have Thai food in a Vietnamese restaurant. But it's on the menu... I regretted it as soon as it's served on my table. It looked red as if they put a lot of ketchup in it. It tasted nothing like the Pad Thai I've had before. This Pad Thai was more on the sweet side, like overly sweet and NO acidity whatsoever. Just a small wedge of lime does NOT help at all. The stars are for service and clean washroom. This place for Vietnamese food is located at Cachet Center on 9255 Woodbine (at 16th Ave) in Markham is a great neighbourhood restaurant. I've been there many times. I always get their Pho Special that's loaded with rare beef, beef balls, tripe with lots of fresh green onions in a very flavourful broth. They offer option of fresh or dry noodles and both are good depending on your personal preference with dry noodles being a bit more chewy. The regular size bowl is a large portion enough for two to share for small appetites like me. I like to order other dishes to try and have with leftovers to take home. One of my favourite snacks is the Salt and Pepper Fried Tofu with chilli. So crispy on the outside and soft moist tofu on the inside. So delicious... never any leftovers of this appetizer. The Lemon Grass Pork Chop with short cut rice is hearty dish that's so good. The chops are marinated with lemongrass and is so tender and flavourful with ginger and green onions. The Crab Fried Rice is very good. You can see it's generously loaded with large pieces of soft shell crab. The spring rolls are crispy and dipped in the chilli vinegar sauce .... one of my faves! The interior design was hip and modern. Utensils were put inside a plastic bag and sauce came in a container which I found not necessary. The service was decent and quick. They didn't hurry us one bit. The vermicelli bowl with spring roll and chicken was satisfying. Nothing stood out but it was good! This is my 5th take out order for the past couple of months from this Vietnamese restaurant. I've been quite impressed with all but one experience where they forgot all the sauces including the brown sauce and the spring rolls/vermicelli/rice sauce all in one order. That was not a pleasant experience for us since the sauce is key in the family! They always give a complimentary item. I'm not sure though if it's if you've spent a certain amount, but even when I've always ordered at least 3 pho bowls and 1 crispy spring rolls (big family, too many mouths to feed and share with). I would say they give a good amount of noodles and decent amount of protein. They give a huge amount of beansprouts, but not enough mint leaves though in my opinion. [4.5/5] Pho Time is a newer restaurant located on 16th Ave and Woodbine Ave on the same side as the TNT. It's clean with a beautiful and spacious interior. This is based on a dinner experience on September 17, 2020. Right upon entering, you will see a Vietnamese bike taxi, a big neon sign with a Pho pun, and lights decorated with Vietnamese leaf hats known as Non La. The restaurant is brightly lit and welcoming. Many seats are available even though they aren't using every table due to the pandemic with a lot of space in between. There is definitely a lot of room for social distancing. There is a bottle of hand sanitizer on tables that are in use and partitions placed on the long middle tables. To begin, you are served with Jasmine tea (a rarity and my favorite!) and each person receives a clear bag of wooden chopsticks, plastic soup spoon, and napkins (COVID measurement). The only issue I had was with the size of the plastic spoon. It is very small for a noodle soup restaurant. I enjoy having noodles with soup for every bite and it was a bit hard to achieve that because of the size of the spoon. Pho Time advertises that they specialize in Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup and other Vietnamese Authentic Dishes but they also have Cambodian, Singapore, Thai, Chinese, and Malaysian dishes. Their menu has a lot of Vietnamese staples but I was surprised they didn't have Vietnamese noodle specialties like Bun Bo Hue. Fried spring rolls were $ 6.95 for 2 and they were crispy; a bit on the smaller side but filled with taro and pork. It was very delicious but I wasn't a fan of their dipping fish sauce which seemed like it was just purely fish sauce- there wasn't the common amalgamation of sweet and sour. However, I appreciated how they put the sauces in small containers. Pho with Grilled Chicken $12.95 + Added Beef Flank $4 The chicken pho itself was slightly more expensive than some other places. It has a very clear and clean broth. The grilled chicken was flavorful but a bit overcooked- it wasn't juicy and tender. I loved how they provided the add on of beef flank in a separate bowl with beef broth pho soup! I had a hard time choosing between Beef Flank and Grilled Chicken so it was nice to have the option. I preferred the Beef Flank. The Flank was very tender and soft but there are some pieces that have a lot of fat. Pho Time House Special Pho $10.95 + Added Vietnamese Sausage $3 The Vietnamese Sausage is Cha Lua which was added to the soup. The broth for this beef-based pho was a tad too sweet for my liking. Although the soup for both pho was super hot, I felt that the noodles weren't soft enough and some of it was stuck together near the bottom even after mixing. Note: All the pho comes in one size- large. All the pho is served with beansprouts, lime, Asian basil, big fresh hot chili peppers on the side. You have the option to ask for steamed beansprouts instead. This is a great place for lunch as they have $9.95 specials from 11 am - 3 pm that is really worth if you want some of their more specialized dishes. They also have take out specials where you can get Free Thai Veggie Spring Rolls if you spend $30 before tax or free chicken wings if you spend $50 before tax. Vegetarian dishes are also available. Overall, a pretty good first impression. Service was very good and our server also came to my table to ask about the experience and talk about the restaurant. Great food and service! Does get busy but worth the wait. Best tasting pho broth in Markham area.

Somewhat disappointed. Post lockdowns, they no longer accept credit cards, it's cash or debit only . As someone who doesn't really carry cash,annoying since the bill was about $40 including gratuity per person. Tempura shrimp isn't. Calamari dish wasn't the same on the recent visit. Pho was great, it's their broth with the fresh noodles with a decent amount of protein. read more
