Luna Viet is located at the opposite side of Walmart in the plaza. There is a good variety of Vietnamese dishes. I tried their special pho with torched beef brisket. Very good quality meat with a good portion of meat and fat. Meat doesn't stick to your teeth at all. However, their pho only comes with 1 size but you can order an extra bowl of pho that comes on a side for only $4.50. There is also a promo where they give a free lychee drink or a spring roll if you follow them and share a picture of their food on instagram. One thing to note is that they only accept debit or cash

Newly renovated and clean Viet restaurant at Bayview and Major Mac. We came for an early dinner so there was no one. The waitress and waiter were both friendly and even taught us how to use the Loveramics water carafe. I had so much fun playing with it because it poured every angle LOL We got the fried tofu appetizer and the lemon grass sauce was surprisingly delicious. They told us to pair it with their spicy cilantro sauce. I dont like cilantro but I could barely taste the soapy after taste. Anyone who loves cilantro should give it a try! The torched veal breast pho and soft shell crab were both delicious. I was surprised they gave 8 pieces (if I counted correctly) and they were decent size too. The soft shell crab was very tasty too! We'll definitely come back!

Happen to visit this resto with some friends, some place new and haven't tried before! I haven't been to its predecessor, but looks abit different from the restaruant it was ~10 years ago. Since they're relatively new, there was loads of deals happening. Service was great, the waiter brought us the wrong app and realized later, which he took off our bill. Mango salad - Pretty standard, but still really good. Mangoes were crisp, peanuts were crunchy, sauce was flavourful. Would recommend. Deep fried chicken wings - Crispy well seasoned wings. My only complaint was that there wasnt enough to go around. 6-7 wings for a large order, and since we were 8 ppl, he made sure we got 7. +1 for service. Chicken ball skewers - Ordered the chicken satay skewers, but got these instead. Balls were seasoned nicely and cooked well. Would recommend. and probably try the chicken satay skewers next time. pork chop rice - Cannot say it was as good as the broken rice at Pho Ahn Vu, but still a generous amount of meat and rice. It needed a lot more of the scallion oil.

This replaced the old Super Pho so we wanted to try it. There were surprisingly a lot of people. They close at 8pm so last call is around 7:30pm. They came to each table to tell us and asked us if we wanted to order anything else. Ambiance - 4/5: there are more tables than the old place. I think the seats may be different from the old store. It was clean, and bright. The decorations are kept simple. Service - 4/5: we were seated pretty quickly. The staff speak both Chinese and English so there's no issue with communication. They were also pretty quick with the food. It just took a bit of time for them to collect my payment. I ended up going up the front to pay. They accept debit and cash. Food - 4/5: we ordered the house special pho and the torched veal brisket pho. When we ordered, the server asked us if we wanted our bean sprouts cooked and also said it came with green onions, onions and cilantro, asking us if we were ok with those toppings. The house special pho came out quick. The other pho took a bit of time but the food was piping hot. There's only 1 size to the pho. Other than these 2 pho, you can build your own pho. We both ended up having leftovers. The torched brisket added a layer of charredness but it was nice. Some pieces weren't as tender and stuck to my teeth but others were pretty good. They give a good ratio of ingredients to noodles. They used thin noodles. The soup base was very clear. The only complaint I had was that the soup was quite salty. I didn't taste the other pho so unfortunately, I can't comment on it. Overall - 4/5: I would come back to try other dishes - rice and vermicelli. I saw some interesting combinations that I haven't seen in other Vietnamese restaurants.

This location seems to be destined to be a Vietnamese restaurant, its predecessor was Super Pho and if my faulty memory serves correct, it was the former original location of the Richmond Hill Pho Xe Lua. If my experience was indicative of the things to come, Luna shares similarity with all the restaurants that came before it, the food is just not very good. Luna from a decor and ambiance standpoint is the most classy out of all of them. You can kind of tell just by the restaurant name and the prices on the menu. I actually really like the environment, it just gives off a very warm and cozy feeling. Unfortunately, the food does not match the environment. We ordered two items: 1. Grilled chicken and spring rolls vermicelli 2. Special beef pho The vermicelli was the better of the two items and was ok. You can tell they did try to put a lot of lemon grass onto the chicken. Unfortunately, I feel like the lemon grass taste was just superficial and did not manage to make its way to the rest of the meat. The meat is also missing the necessary char that comes from the grilling, especially the skin portion which makes the skin feel too fatty. Their spring roll gets a passing grade from me and if I'm not mistaken, they did slip some shrimp into the spring rolls which is not typical of Cha Gio. Their special beef pho did not really cut it at all. The soup lacked complexity and is too salty. Despite being very generous with their portion of meats, both the sliced beef and beef brisket were of inferior quality. A normal person would have difficulties chewing through them. They definitely gave my jaw a workout and eventually I gave up on it. The servers were polite and helpful. I requested for cooked bean sprout and out came raw ones, but they quickly replaced the plate without any fuss. They also came around to ask how things were during the meal and once again at the end of the meal. At that point, I gave them the constructive criticism. Hopefully they took it to heart so that other patrons can have a better experience going forward. For those who cares about these things, the servers/owners seem to be mainly Cantonese and Mandarin speakers. The menus consisted of Chinese and English and the pho are sold in one size only. I will try my best to give them the benefit of the doubt here. I understand that it's super challenging to get a restaurant up and running. But unless I hear some objective, positive reviews from friends and family, it will take a lot for me to return to Luna.

This is a gem in Richmond Hill! Not only is the food excellent but the service as well. My highly recommended dishes are Deep Fried Chicken Gyoza, Torched Veal Brisket Pho, Fried Rice with soft shell crab. If you want to try Vietnamese Fusion dishes then you have to visit this spot. The restaurant has ample space. Also, it's in a plaza, so there are plenty of parking spots.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond Hill, I like the Seafood Laksak, special beef pho, Grilled Pork Chops and Chicken with rice.

Came here with a group of friends for a fun reunion. This place was recommend by one of my friends and I am really glad I followed it, as the food here was of very high quality and our server was hilarious and professional. My friends seemed to love the pho they got from here. Service was also very quick too, and while the interior is on the smaller side, it is very clean and modern on the inside. Prices are quite cheap too. I would come here again.

The perfect amount of spice - makes you sweat a bit without killing you - you can still taste everything you're eating! The place is quite small and they get busy so expect some crowding. The food was delicious and had exceptional flavour and quality. My partner and I had the Bun Bo Hue (5/5) and the Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice (5/5). Bun Bo Hue was filled with meat and blood pudding. It was not as spicy as I had hoped it would be but the flavour profile was irresistibly good. Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice had ample portions of meat. They were tender and juicy. As I mentioned, the place gets busy and packed. We were a group of 8 and I tried to book a reservation a couple of days prior to our visit. To our disappointment, they did not accept reservations at all. The wait time was quite long since we were such a big group. This was quite hectic and stressful for the servers. Hopefully this can be considered in the future for big groups (8 people and above) to make the service smoother.

First off everything was not bad but I found it to be just average tasting nothing blew me away. I must note that the satay chicken skewers were way too spicy, to the point where it was literally inedible. It's not a bad location. Inside the T&T plaza at woodbine and 16th. Not sure if I'll be back to try the pho as it doesn't look overwhelming judging by this appetizer platter. It's a shame, I really love pho and wanted to love this place. But, there are many Vietnamese restaurants around and I don't think this one will be in my rotation. Sorry folks, my recommendation is try Pho Anh Vu or Ngon Corner which are nearby.

The restaurant is well-lit, clean, spacious & modern looking. Parking in this plaza is relatively easy since the lot is huge! We went on Christmas Eve around 6:15 p.m. The place was pretty quiet and we got seated right away. I ordered the Bún bò Huế. The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor although on the oily side for me which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & ingredients making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. We believe that there is taro in the roll which makes it so yummy. I really liked the decor of this place! We both agreed that this is definitely a place to be included in our rolling list of Pho restaurants to eat at!
