Came here with my husband after driving by it so many times. The interior is super cozy and welcoming. The service was quick and accurate. They were super nice. Food was like a premium version of the dishes we normally get. My husband got the pho special and he said they used premium brisket inside his pho. They also provided him with a dipping tray, which at most places, he has to ask for it. Definitely coming back here after trying a few more in the area!!

Delicious and hearty pho with quality ingredients Atmosphere: The restaurant is quite wide and fairly open with rows of tables across the centre and booths near the windows, giving an almost canteen atmosphere. This works great for a more casual dining experience with family or friends. Food: The flavours of the Thai mano salad were very nicely balanced, with umami from the fish sauce and a hint of spice as well that balances out the sweetness of the mango. The grilled shrimps also had a nice barbecue flavour, but were a little deceiving on the plate as they were halved to look like there was more protein than actually served. The beef rib pho came in two huge bowls, one with the bones and marrow, and the other with a couple of ribs and the pho. The broth was clear and had a nice beef flavour, and the pho was perfectly cooked. The bones didn't have too much meat but had a lot of cartilage and was great, just wished there was a hint of more pho in the bowl but is plenty to share for two people with an appetizer. Service: The server was fantastic and quick, and everything was prepared very quickly. To pay, you walk up to the counter and they only accept debit or cash. Hearty and heart-warmingly great!

From the food to the ambiance, this place doesn't get any better! I ordered the mango shrimp salad as a meal and it was perfect, refreshing and satisfying. I'd recommend getting a side of protein as the shrimp is not enough.

I visited Pho Anh Vu in Vaughan a few months back after seeing this name all over social media, but I found it didn't quite live up to the hype. While the broth of the Pho was indeed flavourful with a good amount of meat, the spring rolls didn't stand out much, as I have had much better, and the fresh rolls didn't seem very fresh. There was also something that looked like a fly (it may not have been one) that was rolled into the fresh roll hence why I deducted a star to two. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and the service was efficient. Note that you are required to go up to the counter to pay when you finish eating. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, and has a casual atmosphere. They also offer high chairs for the little ones, which is a nice touch for families. There's free parking out front, as the restuarent is part of a strip plaza. Overall, it was a decent experience, but it didn't meet my expectations based on the buzz social media had generated.

Great experience. We have been to the Richmond Hill location, which is bigger and a bit older and is starting to show its age. This location is newer and smaller. Located on Hwy 7 (on the south side) just west of Keele. As with most Pho Anh Vu's the entrance has pink blossoms surrounding the entrance. The menu here is smaller but covers all the basics. Interior is very pretty. Service was great! Each table has all the basics ie. chopsticks, spoons, sauces etc. Everything but napkins. I was about to ask for them but noticed an employee scanning the tables and next thing you know I had napkins (It's the little things that make the experience). Small pho is just under $17.00. Broth was deep and flavourful. I would definitely recommend a visit to this location if you are in the area.

Delicious lunch! Serving good to share for two. Had a che dessert to finish the meal - not too sweet but satisfy the sweet craving

This place was so happening when we visited. The servers were bustling and hustling. One server in particular did an outstanding job socializing not just with his own tables but throughout the restaurant. You could hear laughter wherever he went. The food was good too. They came quickly after we ordered. The portion was awesome, and I had left over for the next day. I ordered the special rice noodle soup (15), and it came with a decent amount of meat. It's such a comfort dish that I could never tire of it. Highly recommended.

Went clubbing the night before and needed something soupy, warm, and familiar. Pho it is. Didn't know Pho anh vu opened another location around Vaughan area and my sisters were really hungry after a night of drinking and dancing. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was already busy when we got there. We waited about 15-20 minutes before we were seated. Place is the smallest location compared to other locations, but looks nice inside just like the other ones around the GTA, and the patrons dining were pretty much 99% Vietnamese, so you know it's legit. I got myself a bun bo hue this time around, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. I was disappointed in myself, thinking I could have devoured the whole thing, but portions were huge! Same consistency like their other locations, huge portions, and fast service. We also got their cha gio, and fish sauce chicken wings which were pretty spot on.

Newly opened Pho Anh Vu. It's in an industrial area about 5 mins away from the Vaughan metropolitan Center subway. Quality of food is good and is about the same as the other Pho Anh Vu restaurants. Open kitchen concept with Vietnam style renovation and painting on the wall. There are about 12 tables in total so it's not a big restaurant.

I love Pho Anh Vu--the food is extremely delicious, especially its grilled meat, fish sauce, and pho, which I'd consider the quintessential pillars of Vietnamese cuisine. I'd give it five stars, but then the restaurant is in a higher price range for phos than other Vietnamese restaurants, so it lost a star (17 plus tax for a small size regular pho--which would end up 20 dollars and plus). Compared to places like Pho Tai Bac, it is very expensive.

2024-07-20. Pho Anh Vu. Concord, ON. Beef Rib (served on the side with #22 Beef Rib Pho). A Pho Anh Vu specialty. 5 stars.

Food was good. It was just too crowded that they had to split our table with another guest, which makes it awkward.

Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. As creamy and thick as the broth appears, the intense Thai coconut curry flavours are perfect to slurp down in this modern fusion dish. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts. This is wrapped with the lettuce leaf for crunchy and refreshing bites. The menu prices have slowly but steadily increased over the past couple of years. There is still cash discount available. Not much has changed with the decor over the years in this spacious but dated restaurant interior. Service is always kind, fast and kid-friendly which is nice for young families. Skip it or hit it? I admit we don't visit as often as we used to all factors considered but boy that Curry Brisket Pho is something I crave.

Shrimp and Pork Rice Paper Rolls - The shrimp, pork, and lettuce were wrapped on the very outside, but the inside was just fully stuffed with rice noodles. I had to take out most of the noodles, otherwise I would have been too full. Chicken Wings - Just those standard, regular friend chicken wings. By the way I didn't see any sticky rice that was mentioned on the menu? House Special Noodle Soup - Meat lovers' choice. I'm not a big fan of pho (always feel like there's too much MSG in it), so I can't really give a fair review on this one. Service was good. Vietnoms has gotten so popular these days that I don't make an attempt to go on the weekends prime…read moretime as there is often a wait or you may get a cramped seat at the counter if you don't want to wait as long. Best to go on weekdays to get a better chance for seating. Recently tried a couple new items on their off menu including the curry beef noodle (fried egg noodles on top), these crispy triangle shaped rolls (forgot the name) maybe pork and crap roll? Then followed up with something I've gotten before the dry chicken pho noodle salad. The curry beef with the crispy egg noodles reminds me of khao soi though there is less of a coconut flavour and more salty and savoury. I don't usually have curry Vietnamese style so I didn't know what to expect. But we found it a little too salty and also I personally prefer my curry a little sweeter like Japanese or coconut-ish like Thai or HK style curries. It's good, just not to our palate. It's a generous portion so we took it home and actually used the remaining curry broth to make a tasty stew with other ingredients and a touch of marinara sauce and it turned out really tasty! The crispy triangles rolls we had were fantastic and I like the side of fresh greens with it. Dry chicken pho noodle salad is always good. I like that they provide the broth of beef balls on the side so you can always enjoy it with the broth if you like. I think the extra broth with beef balls only happens for dine-in though because I have taken out that same dish before and I don't remember them including the extra broth on the side. The other time we also tried their shaking beef (comes with a fried egg on top) with rice and ordered the tapioca seafood and pork noodle soup - look through my later photos for reference. I don't think we'll order the shaking beef again but the tapioca noodle soup would be in rotation. Love that they are always experimenting with different dishes and I'm always excited to try something new here from their off-menu dishes.

However The food I ordered didn't live up to the hype. We ordered 1. The sizzling meat plate with baguette 2. Banh Mi Dip (beef banh mi with a soup dip) 3. Small fried spring rolls Now, maybe I came in with overly high expectations. I've seen some reviews raving about these menu items But I was very disappointed in the dishes. The sizzling meat plate was actually not sizzling and was Luke warm. (Although flavours were not bad). The banh mi sandwich was kinda soggy even without dipping yet. And The fried spring rolls tasted like they were bought and frozen and not handmade. (I could be wrong but if I am, then that's even worse) All in all I won't be back, sorry But If you do go, maybe you will have a better experience with the food 3 stars is the best I can give, given it is a local spot and deserves all the support from Yelpers.
