Stirfry noodles with thick noodle option
    Cin C.

We were wonderfully surprised by the service, quality and deliciousness of this spot. We had a late lunch and shared a plate of stir fried thick noodles, a beef bun, and plate of pan fried dumplings. Everything was delicious and came piping hot, which I truly appreciate. The stirfry noodles had the perfect texture and the beef bun was generously stuffed with meat. Service is quick and attentive, stopping by to make sure we liked our meal several times. They helpfully supply plastic bibs should you need to protect your clothing from potential splashes.

Came on a Sunday evening and it got busy around 6pm. Lots of seating and tables inside. You order through a QR code and the menu is extensive with noodle dishes, appetizers, Chinese burgers, and stir fry dishes. Each diner gets a plastic bib to wear so you don't splash any soup on yourself. They give you a basic to place your jackets as well if needed. I ordered the Stir Fry noodles. It was similar to Shanghai noodles. Flavours were good, but it was a bit too oily for me though. My partner enjoyed his Spicy Traditional Noodles with beef and rice noodles. Portions are big and we ended up packing some to go. Lots of parking in the plaza. Staff were nice. They were great with refilling our water and making sure the dishes were good.

Nice, hearty-tasting noodles and dumplings. I think the reason this place has the high ratings is the combo deals. They have some affordable value combos which are very cost-effective for your wallet in this economy. The bottoms of the pan fried dumplings were insanely crispy and golden brown which I like. Keep in mind, however, that these are open ended dumplings so if you're expecting meat juice to squirt out when you bite in you will be disappointed. You make your own dipping sauce with the sauce provided at each table. Onto the soup noodles I ordered. The broth had good flavour and the noodles were firm and chewy. The beef was also tender. My big gripe with the soup noodles is there's too little meat. Like around 5 pieces of meat and that's it. Yes the price is fair and doesn't hurt your wallet but you're also looking at value as a diner and the resto does seem a lil stingy w/ the portioning of their meat. Would come back but most likely only for the combos and not as a solo diner.

Currently, they are offering customers combo meals (noodle + side + pop = $17) on weekdays which is not that bad of a deal given the increasing costs of food. Their large noodles are so good and chewy! I can eat those all day! Their stir fried was also worth trying! My friends enjoyed the tripe, each bite was bursting with flavors! The Dawang seafood noodle is a little spicy so just a warning. Surprisingly, the Chinese kimchi was an antidote for the spice!

Only discovered this restaurant today when I was googling places to eat noodles. I never really noticed this restaurant in this plaza until literally today. We ordered the combo for 2 which includes 2 noodles, 1 side dish , 2 skewers and 2 soft drinks. The side dish we had the cucumber, skewer we chose lamb and 2 noodles were braised beef brisket noodles. The noodles were good and the braised beef was tasty- however they were tiny pieces and tiny amount were given vs the noodle ratio. I enjoyed it, the service was really nice, they even gave me a hair tie for my hair to eat the noodles! I will come back again, as i genuinely liked the noodles and the service. The only wish is for bigger pieces of meat or more pieces.

They offer great variety of authentic Chinese noodles and are located in a very busy plaza, so finding parking is a bit challenging. They have great Combo for 1 and Combo for 2 menu option at a reasonable price. We tried Combo for 2, which you get to choose 2 Noodles, 1 side dish and 1 meat skewer x2. We ordered "Beef Brisket Noodles" with thin noodles,"Signature Noodles" with thick noodles, "Fruit Vinegar Cucumber" and Lamb Skewers. Our order was served very fast and we enjoyed it. The ambience is casual and pleasant.

Satisfying slurpable noodles and amazing service Food: The star of the show is definitely the noodles, which appeared to be hand-pulled and made fresh as they had very good bite to them and were cooked perfectly. The braised beef broth was light, and had a good portion of beef and helped bring out the texture of the noodles. The braised pork tasted nice and tender, and tasted of a nice traditional soy braised sauce. The lamb skewers were typical of other barbeque joints. The feast seafood noodles had quite a bit of toppings, including crawfish, abalone, scallops, and a lot of spicy oil. It definitely got to the better of us, but we'll definitely revisit to try some of the other milder noodles (less spicy ones). Service: The service was highly attentive, and picture perfect. We were able to order fairly quickly, the food was brought to us pretty quickly as well. Whenever we were short on water (to cool down from the seafood noodles), they would top us up without asking. They also cleared any finished dishes and soiled napkins away very quickly, and provided new ones at the same time. It was probably the best service I've had at any restaurant, bar none. Atmosphere: It was nicely decorated with wood accents and Chinese text of noodles on the wall, and very clean and modern (almost like a Japanese aesthetic). There's space for a larger table in the centre of the restaurant, and smaller tables on either side, with a free open bath around all the tables. The bathroom was also very clean, and everything likes nice and bright. Overall, quite a satisfying meal with great noodles, can't wait to come back.

Foods been inconsistent, especially the broth for the signature noodles... I rather you cancel my order if you guys are running low or something, instead of just adding more water to cover it up. They still got good reviews so maybe we've just been unlucky with the timing the last few times? Ill keep it 3. I mainly stop by after lunch hr rush. Also way way too stingy on the meat for the signature noodles!! Some days you'll get 3-4 dime sized pieces. So different than the early days :( I'll stick to my wonton noodle place for my rare noodle cravings. Sigh

To be honest, it is not perfect in many dimensions: It's not spacious and feels too greedy to have too many tables. It is not a good place if you really want to have an elegant environment to have your meals. The servers are a bit aggressive. But despite of all those disadvantages, I still give it 5 stars because it has the PERFECT food! I almost dropped some tears when I tasted my first bite of the dish I ordered, stored fried beef with tomatoes and eggs. I think what it does best is that it adapt its dishes to use the local produce and meat, and still keep the legit HongKong food flavors. My wife ordered the stir fried instant noodles and it was full of pepper, mushrooms and soy sauce flavor. The menu here is reasonably priced for the HK cafe food that's available till 5pm. We were impressed by the huge portions & surprisingly good flavours. Curry Beef Brisket Rice was stewed well to achieve really tender tendons. These are still two of our go-to dishes here. For a decent dinner table like that, it's not cheap but okay . Each dish was cooked very well. Delicious and had wok hai. There will be a dessert after the meal, a bowl of tofu flower for each person. That dessert is a true hidden gem. Silky smooth and moderate sweetness and perfect warmth. I wonder why no one mentioning it before, it is very good. We can come back to this restaurant just for the dessert.

We ended up getting the ham macaroni soup with a cheese ham sandwich combo, along with the O Street signature beef sandwich and fries from their new menu. Despite how busy it was on a Saturday, the food came out at a pretty reasonable speed, which I appreciated. The macaroni soup was just okay, very much the kind of simple comfort food that fills you up, but nothing especially memorable. I was most excited for the signature beef sandwich, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The burger/sandwich itself was smaller than I imagined, and it only had about 2-3 pieces of beef brisket inside with marinated bell peppers and their homemade sauce. The sauce leaned sweeter than expected, which might work for some people, but personally I was hoping for something more savoury and more generous with the beef. However, the brisket was tender, which was a win... ish. Overall, still a decent spot if you're craving classic HK cafe vibes and variety, especially for a casual meal with family.
