January 31, 2026 - I tried traditional Langzhou beef noodle soup. It came with beef, scallion, garnish and the noodles. The broth was tasty and the beef was nice and tender. Great meal to warm you up on a cold day.

This halal Chinese restaurant is bringing Lanzhou cuisine to Toronto with fresh hand-pulled noodles when you order their dishes. I love that you can watch the chef create your noodles from scratch and choose from 9 different kinds of noodles. I enjoyed the chow mein and their traditional beef noodles - perfect texture. The chicken in chili sauce was not that spicy and the dumplings were very juicy! We also had some pumpkin cake - a sweet touch to end our meal. They have other locations in the GTA (Fairview Mall, York University, Scarborough) so you have no excuse not to visit them! I find that this location was warm when we visited. The space was an open concept with view of noodle making. Staff was nice!

I came for lunch and they had specials each day for members. You pay $20 to be a member and can get the perk discounts, and 10% off the bill. It was Thursday so buy 1 get 1 free lamb skewers. I did not join the membership as I don't come that often. I got the traditional with classic noodles with extra green onions. It was nice, flavour was nice and hot enough . Service was ok, you scan to order. And then pay at the cashier.

Came for some late friday night grub after a badminton session w/ friends. One of my friends is pakistani so this place was right up his alley because everything's halal. The soup base was hearty, beefy and very clean tasting (almost TOO clean tasting). The skewers were ok imo. Not the best I've had. Not the worst. Definitely middle of the pack average. The noodles are great. Very elastic, good firm bite. Prices were fair. Not the best hand-pulled noodles in Toronto but solid resto. My friend told me the owner used to be business partners w/ the original Omni Noodle location at Midland and Sheppard but they had a falling out and went their separate ways. They still share the same website though, which is hilarious. I haven't been back to the original location in a while but I've got this itchy memory that they have slightly bigger portions than this location.

This was the perfect meal on a chilly day in Toronto. The soup was great, the noodles were cooked well, and overall the food was great. I do wish the chicken had a bit more flavour, but it was still very tasty, and I do recommend it! Service was great as well, food came out at a good time.

Great noodles and soup! Open late night. I reccomend the wide flat noodles. Service and ambiance is casual

We came on the weekend for a lunch with a group of 5 and was promptly give a table of 4. It would be a tight fit so we waited for the next table to get up and asked the waiter to merge the tables for us. Not a lot of seating space, with only 20 chairs in the restaurant. We ordered online an array of dishes, including the lamb skewers, beef brisket noodles, lanzou noodles, dumplings and a meat bun. We didn't know until afterwards that you can customize the noodle shape, so we missed out on the opportunity to try it out. Great noodles with good side dishes. I would recommend the skewers as it went really well with the noodles. Service was okay, as they cleared the table and got us water promptly. However, they didn't actively help figure out the seating for 5 and we had to follow up with a missing bowl of noodle that came very late to the table. Also, would have appreciated a heads up about customizing noodles size and shapes.

Omni Noodle Palace located at Sheppard and Yonge is a 24hr noodle joint featuring hand-pulled Lanzhou noodles. Their specialty is beef noodles where you can get noodle soup or stir fried noodles. They also have a variety of snacks available as well. The restaurant is open for dine in or take out where there are about 16-20 seats for customers. I had tried Omni Noodle Palace during the pandemic when they were take out only. This time, I went back to dine in and was pleasantly surprised. You order your food via a QR code that is on your table where you can choose your noodle shape. Once ordering, the food arrives at a reasonable time. The noodle soups are hot and fresh. I opted to try the traditional Lanzhou beef noodles. The noodles were made perfectly and the beef was tender. The broth was comforting but they do likely use some MSG in the broth as well. My party and I never felt rushed in the restaurant. When you are ready to pay you can just go up to the cashier. If you pay cash (and if you are not splitting the bill), there is a 5% discount. They do accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good spot to have some traditional Lanzhou hand pulled beef noodles!

Came in with a small group and wasn't sure what was happening and decided to take a seat at an empty table. One of the staff came over with menus after a few minutes and then walked back behind the counter. Not much in terms of service, but maybe we need to order in chinese? Apparently they had some special summer items available on a separate menu, but it wasn't mentioned. I probably would have tried that if I had known about it. Decided to go with the spicy beef mixed noodles. You don't get to choose the type of noodles for this I guess? Or at least it wasn't offered. Noodles were chewy. Not much meat. Lots of sliced bamboo and carrots. Portion is pretty small for $14 compared to other handpull noodle places. Washroom is nice though.

Would I recommend? they are not too bad, but it doesn't taste good enough to visit often How's the Service? Average service, not able to serve ice with drink is a bit dumb for restaurant. so that's definitely a minus How's the food? the presentation is kind of shit, tastes wise is just okay. How's the ambience? their sitting area is not that comfortable, the shop is pretty small. How to find it? they are outside of the mall facing Yonge steeet

Pretty solid place for quick and delicious food! The service was okay, we were not briefed on how to order by the waiter, apparently you can choose the specific type of noodle you want. The dishes I tried were very flavourful, the noodles were fresh and and the meat was delicious (though quite fatty). It also took only 5 minutes to receive our food, which was quite fast.

6 piece garlic chicken wings (crispy, tasty, a bit of a cumin spice)

Grabbed some noodle soup and wings from here for takeout lunch. I like that you can choose from 9 different styles of hand pulled noodles. It was tasty but seemed pricey, but I guess that is the norm around here. The chili oil is really good! There's a small discount if you pay by cash - I think 5%. Overall I liked but didn't love. I like the chengdu place in the food basics food court better - but that might be because I prefer rice noodles to hand pulled noodles. - Braised beef noodle soup - I went with round thick noodles. They were nice and chewy - not over cooked at all. Quite dense so it's filling. A decent amount of bite-sized beef chunks - mostly meat, a bit fatty, a bit soft tendon - it was all very tender. Would have liked more veggies - there was maybe only half a piece of bok choy in there. Broth was flavourful and complex but not very spicy as advertised. Be sure to ask for some chili oil to spice it up - it was a very tasty chili oil! - Garlic chicken wings - one order is 6 pieces and they are all flats - my favourite! Quite large pieces too. Crispy and tasty with a slight Asian flavour - maybe cumin?

I have been to this location twice. The first time we came was a 4.5/5, but the second time was more like 3/5. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but seems like the quality isn't too consistent :(. Will still likely come back to see. Sesame Paste Chicken Noodles: I have ordered this twice. Both times the chicken was cooked really well, but the second time the noodles were overcooked and slightly mushy. Braised Beef Noodles: 4/5 The broth was very flavorful, while meat was just alright. Lamb Ribs Noodles: 4.5/5 The broth was lovely, and the meat was so tender (fell right off the bones!)

I've been craving Szechuan-style whole grilled fish for the longest time, so I was really happy…read morewhen I stumbled across this spot while walking on Spadina. The posters outside caught my eye, and I decided to come back with a group of three friends to try it out. We came a bit late around 8 PM, and most of the fish were already sold out except the original. We ended up ordering the Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($40), a whole fish served bubbling hot with three toppings (potatoes, spam, and lotus root). You can choose between catfish and turbot, we chose the turbot fish. It looked extremely spicy, but the spice level was actually perfect. It was a bit on the oily side, but pairing it with rice balanced it out nicely. The fish was very tender and buttery, everything tasted amazing! We also ordered the Stir-Fried Egg with Tomato. The eggs were soft, the tomato sauce was rich. Not to mention the portion size was huge, we even had leftovers after eating until we were full. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and had plenty of seating. I think they were doing some sort of promotion so they gave us a $25 off coupon, though it expired pretty quickly so we didn't get to use it. I'd definitely come back for that grilled fish.

This is a new Chinese restaurant featuring Hunan and Szechuan cuisine. The spicy dishes emphasize…read morespiciness, not numbness. A few of their dishes come out on a sizzling plate with flames underneath. They are still in soft-opening mode with several specials. You can see the menus via a QR code. The Hunan cuisine is listed as "Hunan Noodles" and the Szechuan cuisine is listed as "Chopfire Menu". The Szechuan dishes are listed with 1 to 3 chilies representing the spiciness. If you can't handle spicy, then avoid eating the chili pieces and you might "survive". The restaurant decided to minimize their food offerings so that they can focus on refining their dishes in terms of quality and taste, including from customer feedback. We ordered the following: 1. Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($39.95). 2. Home Stir Fried Beef ($21.95). 3. Bullfrog with Baby Ginger ($19.95). 4. Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork ($15.95). 5. Drunk Oolong (charcoal roasted oolong tea base) x 2 ($5.95 x 2). 6. Lemon Taro Balls ($7.95). We also saw the following: 7. Stir-Fried Sliced Pork with Green Pepper Noodle Soup ($9.99). First 10 customers each day, only pays $1.00. 8. Ink Painting Cocktail ($5.95). The Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish came out on a huge sizzling platter. The BBQ Fish, a Turbot Fish, was very fresh and flaky, easily coming off the bone. There is no head attached like at typical Chinese restaurants but it would not have fit in the platter. The platter had a delicious sauce (soupy consistency and not sweet), luncheon meat slices, lotus root slices, and two other vegetables, along with chili pieces. The entire dish tasted great together with the various flavours. The menu listed it as 2-chili spicy but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Home Stir Fried Beef is tender. It is listed as 3-chili but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Bullfrog with Baby Ginger has the bullfrog cut up in little pieces; no you don't see a whole frog! The meat was actually good but most pieces have bones in it, so it takes time to eat it carefully. There was ginger slices in it but it, but we thought the slices were quite large! The Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork was very delicious! It came in a sizzling plate. The Cauliflower was flavourful and was not crunchy and not too soft. I've never had preserved pork slices before; it was quite good, not as salty as Chinese preserved vegetables. The Drunk Oolong has comes in a small bowl a with gin and ice. On the side, they include pieces of the charcoal roasted oolong tea leaves so you can smell it; quite a good smell indeed. You can also order it without the gin, which is what I ordered for mine (since I don't drink alcohol). It was such a nice drink! The Lemon Taro Balls dessert was pretty. In the centre was a slice of lemon. The customer service was good. There is plenty of indoor table and counter seating, including a small private room at the back. There is also an outdoor patio during warmer weather. There is pop music playing in the background. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are two gender-neutral washrooms downstairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-026

From the moment we walked in, the space already set the tone.. dark, dramatic, elegant, and beautifully designed without feeling overly stiff. It has that upscale energy that makes dinner feel like an occasion before you've even ordered anything. Food-wise, there was a lot to love. The signature apple wood roasted Peking duck was definitely a highlight, especially with the tableside carving, which made the whole experience feel even more polished and memorable. The skin had that beautiful lacquered finish, and the duck was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. We also ordered a few larger dishes for the table, and I really appreciated how everything still felt refined without losing that comforting, indulgent side of Chinese dining. Some dishes leaned rich and luxurious, others were lighter and more aromatic, so the meal never felt repetitive. Service was another standout. Attentive without hovering, smooth without being too formal.. exactly the kind of service you hope for in a restaurant like this.
