Noodles are good. The feature of Lanzhou beef noodles is delicious and you can choose how thick the noodles is. Services are fine. Cold dishes are good. The atmosphere is good. Spacious. Easy to find. Next to BMO Agincourt branch in a plaza.

Loved their noodles. The broth in the soup was a little bland though. The waitress wasn't very attentive but I would go back just for the noodle dish.

I'm so in love with this place. It's such a nice interior. The staff is adorable. And the food is fabulous!!! We ordered chilli chicken, beef fried rice and beef stir fried noodles. The noodles have these delicious mushrooms in them. We order out from this place all the time and today I finally ate here. What a treat

First time going. Loved it. I will be going back here. I was looking for something to eat and thought of getting pho. The place I would have gone to was closing soon, so I decided to run a search on Yelp. This place was open later, so I decided "why not?" The design: The layout is simple and allows for easy movement. It's not crowded with tables amd random junk. The tables are clean and the chairs are comfy. There's a window at the back where you can see the chefs prepare the noodles. The food: I ordered the traditional lanzhou beef noodles (no changes or additions). The beef is thinly sliced and tender. The handmade noodles were well cooked and the broth was good. It was a simple dish that didn't taste simple at all. I definitely will be going back and ordering the lamb noodles the next time.

Orient Express is a franchise from China which has over 400 restaurants in China and this is their first overseas franchise location. Never heard of them online or have their photos appearing on your favourite instagrammer's feed? I can assure you this is the real deal. Nothing here is gimmicky or pretentious: the quality of food speaks for itself. Broth has so much flavour and the noodle has such good bite! Their Spicy Chicken in Chili Sauce ($6.99) is so light and spicy! Will be back again and again to satisfy my noodle craving!

It's very rare to find authentic Chinese restaurant that serve halal food in Toronto. During the lockdown we tried their traditional Lanzhou beef hand-pulled noodles soup as takeout. Which was great! But after the lockdown ended we tried it at the restaurant and it was simply amazing! Interior was neat and clean but service was poor. Even after asking multiple times for forks and to refill the water they kept forgetting about it. I think good service is just as important as tasty food at seat down restaurants. Hopefully they improve their service in the future.

I heard good things about the restaurant and decided to check it out last week when I happened to be in the neighbourhood. This place is a delight! Hidden away in a small plaza in Agincourt. The restaurant does not look like a big place from outside but once you enter it is actually pretty decent size. There is ample room to bring medium to large group of people. The service is really good. From greeting to getting seated and then help with the menu, the servers did an amazing job. Since it was our first time we asked the server for recommendation. My wife got the lanzhou noodle with beef and I got the beef stirfry noodle. Both were really good, but the portions are huge. I felt like it could easily be shared between two people. The cool thing about the place is that the noodles are hand pulled in house. You can actually see a guy making them in the kitchen. Makes for a good distraction while you are waiting for food. Also the place serves all Halal food. Most items are chicken, beef or lamb. Definitely worth a shot. I know I will be back again.

Had the following: Braised beef noodles 12.99 - 10/10 LZ Dry noodle with lamb 13.99 - 10/10 Beef fried dumpling 7.99 - 5/10 Pretty good. Excellent noodles.

    Miss Lady ..

I had the braised beef soup, the cold shredded chicken and stir-fry noodles. The beef stir-fry noodles were chewy and the beef was kind of tough. I stopped trying to eat it after a small serving. The braised beef soup was flavorful and enjoyable . When the base got low, I asked them to bring some more and they brought more soup base free of charge. We also had the fried beef dumplings. Those were good. The shredded cold chicken had very little flavor. Everything was very greasy. We were on the other side of the divider in the middle of the restaurant and the waiters never voluntarily came to take our order and see if we needed anything. We constantly had to catch their eyes and wave to get their attention. It was annoying and terrible! There are a lot of foreign dishes on the menu with no description of what they actually are and maybe only one image per page. Apparently they have different types of pulled noodles that you can order, but if you want to see what the options are you will have to get up from your table and walk over to the cash register where there are images of the options. Very impractical! In addition, they don't provide any Forks or spoons to scoop the food up on if you are sharing the dish. I honestly probably would not return to this restaurant, the only thing I would recommend is the braised beef soup and fried dumplings. P.s They dont take credit card

When I first heard of Orient Express, first thing that comes to mind was that it was a cheesy Asian fast food joint much like Panda Express, but boy was I wrong! Yes its a big franchise (400 locations in China!) but its definitely not cheesy Asian! They serve some pretty mean hand pulled Lanzhou noodles here where the noodles are chewy and the broths are flavourful. For the soup noodles you get a choice of 8 or so different noodles from round, flat, thin, thick or fat and the best part is that you get free noodle refills with your order! All for about $10! The place was clean and the service really good. For those of you who eat Halal, the place serves 100% Halal so that is a big plus. Solid addition for some solid noodles! 4/5!

Great service, cute place and good food. Went to try this place out after hearing about it from some friends. I was pleasantly surprised by how homey the interior was considering it's location. The prices are amazing, as you can definitely share all (majority) of the plates! The food is very appetizing, would have ordered a lot of the dishes I saw go by if I wasn't so full. Oh & the service was amazing! Everyone greets you & doesn't neglect you after you've reached your table. I ordered the traditional lanzhou beef noodle & it was very good just a tad on the salty side (only reason I think I'd give it a four). I'm not usually one to add to the soup base, but with this one I had no choice but to add chilli sauce. The beef was good & the noodles were chewy! And the portion was really generous. Boyfriend ordered the braised beef noodle, solely because he likes spicier food. But really it's the same as just adding plenty of chilli sauce to the soup and changing the meat. Personally we both like the thin sliced beef in my noodles better than the braised beef. It was thicker and more fatty. If that's what you enjoy, then go for that one.

Sansotei Ramen Review…read more Order: Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen Ambience: Sansotei at union station is more like a quick takeout /food court ramen spot than a sit-down restaurant. It's great if you're grabbing something fast, but the seating area wasn't the cleanest and I had to look around for a table that had been wiped down, which wasn't ideal if I am paying 21$ for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. Food: I tried the black tonkotsu ramen and it was definitely rich and filling. I liked that you can choose between thick or thin noodles, which is a nice touch. That said, the broth was a bit too rich and salty for my taste and could use something to balance it out, maybe an order or Diet Coke. The meat was good but not as tender as I would like. Sides and Pairing Tip: I'd recommend getting a side of gyoza or even a Diet Coke to help cut through how rich, heavy and salty the ramen feels. Value for Money: It's a good option for a quick meal, but it does feel a little expensive for the experience you're getting for that price. Overall: Great for a fast ramen fix when you're on the go, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a more comfortable dine-in experience, or more value for money. 3/5

We decided to walk up to Queen Street to see something we hadn't seen and seemed like a good area with a wide variety of restaurants. I was almost writing this review for the one on Dundas Street, but realized there are a few locations in downtown. Glad I double checked. We walked up along Spadina to Queen, not all the way up to Dundas. We were weighing options, but we were unsure what we wanted and struggled. We almost ended up at another restaurant with live music outside, but we weren't being served and wasn't enthusiastic about their menu. So, we looked at a couple of options. We didn't want Chipotle or Chick Fil-A; I can get that anytime as I live near those in Maryland. Also, I wanted cuisine that was harder to find near where I live. Ultimately, we settled on Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles. After a lot of hunger trying to decide, this ended up being an excellent choice. Server was friendly answering our questions. It was moderately priced. We got their hand-pulled noodles, which was a large bowl, and was delicious with beef, veggies, & plenty of noodles. I also got their Japanese Toki brand whiskey. This was a FINE choice at a reasonable price. We got into some conversation with the server about being from the US and various other topics. This was an excellent experience, highly recommend.

The weather in Toronto this week has been in the 20's and 30's! The restaurant does serve the dodgers when they are in town! If it's good enough for them... I ordered a Canadian whiskey to start off. It was very nice and smooth. I think it was a Sleeman and sons? Not positive but I really liked it! Then the food. I ordered the first roll from every section. There were some repeats which he advised me would happen but I didn't mind! The sushi was so tender and had great flavor. My husband ordered the ribeye steak and that was really really good. I would order that definitely next time and come here again!

I don't usually go for high-end sushi restaurants, but Miku has been on my list for a while, so I was genuinely excited to finally check it out. The restaurant is located on the ground level of an office building, but the moment you step inside the restaurant, everything changes. You go from bright, corporate lighting to a moody, romantic space with soft, dim lighting and a refined, intimate ambiance... it truly feels like entering a different world. Bonus points for the complimentary coat check, which is a huge win during winter when everyone is lugging around massive puffer jackets. We were seated in plush, velvety sofa booths near the bar, with a view of the street, which felt both cozy and upscale. Shoutout to our server, Shintaro, who was phenomenal with his warm, attentive, and energetic service, which made the whole experience even better. We started with drinks: my coworkers ordered sake flights, while I went with their signature cocktail, the kumquat cosmo. It was sweet and citrusy, and exactly what I needed on a Tuesday night after work. For appetizers, we all chose the sushi and sashimi selection, which included 9 pieces of chef-selected sashimi, chef-selected nigiri, and aburi oshi sushi. This was chef's kiss. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the sushi and nigiri were perfectly seasoned and sauced, so that we didn't even need soy sauce (though they do have a lovely house-made sweet soy sauce). I ordered the Red Wave Roll just to use their house-made sweet soy sauce... and wow. I've never had sushi that didn't fall apart after biting into it For my main, I went with the roast black cod. It was cooked beautifully, with a tender, slightly chewy texture that was rich but not overwhelming. For dessert, I went with their famously loved green tea opera. It's a small green tea sponge cake layered with matcha buttercream, red bean cream, and a hazelnut wafer crust, paired with a rich, velvety matcha ice cream on the side. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Miku lived up to (and honestly exceeded) the hype. Incredible food, top-notch service, and a beautiful atmosphere.
