This was my go-to childhood comfort food. They offer a selection of dishes--rice, barbecue, and their signature noodles. The noodles have a great bite--not too chewy and not too soft. The soup is rich in flavour and filling. The meat tastes great and has a nice texture. My only complaint is that the meat portions can be disappointing.
Magic Noodle has been a long time staple in the Scarborough community for their fresh hand pulled noodles, whether it is in a piping hot broth, stir fried, or served with sauce! There is always a noodle master on shift to ensure your noodle is made however you prefer , whether it is texture wise vs length wise. The noodles are always cooked al dente and it does pair well with whichever toppings you prefer from sliced beef to smoked duck breast to even lamb! Always a good time with Magic Noodle!
A nice little spot that is nestled near Midland & McNicoll. The items on the menu are pretty decent/varied given that it is a 24/7 restaurant spot. As for the employees, they're quite nice when they actually were around, but it was hard to flag them down despite there not being many people. Hoping to see a Magic Noodle promo or something in the future with better prices
We've been in the area a lot recently and happened to come by Magic Noodles. It's improved quite a bit - cleaner for one thing. Service is so quick here and portions and pricing are good value. I almost always get the Juli Jelly here and the cuttle fish balls. All the noodles are comforting and you can't really go wrong with any of it. Even if you do take-out, I find the quality of the food is still pretty great (and added bonus of convenience). Good solid spot for regular noodle nights!
I recently came back on a late fri night after badminton once again and this time I decided to try the tomato broth (which was listed as new). I readily admit that I'm not a huge fan of Magic Noodle. It just happens to be open 24 hrs and one of my badminton friends absolutely loves it since he's from Sauga and they don't have Magic Noodle over there. The classic beef broth has always tasted watered down to me and so the noodles sometimes end up tasting bland. The quality of the noods remains the same. I still think they deserve like 3 stars only. However, this tomato broth I had definitely merits an upgrade in score. Up until this point, the best tomato broth I've had at a soup noodle spot was the one at Hey Noodles. I think this tomato broth might just have one-upped and dethroned it. There was a lot more complexity and layering to this broth. Also, idk if the chef was feeling better that day or if it was just inconsistency but I actually received a surprisingly SOLID amount of beef chunks in my bowl so it actually felt worth it. One thing that IS very good at Magic Noodle is the tofu skewers. They're incredible. Especially the bbq sauce they slather the skewers in. I ordered one skewer of bbq squid tentacles. Never again. They were a rip off (the skewer had tentacles on 1/3 of the stick). The other thing I'd like to mention is that we didn't know that Magic Noodle has unlimited nood refills. Apparently the waitress informed us that they implemented it but didn't advertise it so not many ppl know about the free noodle refills.
Love this place for noodles. Kids love it too - especially watching the noodle-making. The tea eggs are delicious and flavourful. The noodles perfectly chewy. We got the popcorn chicken and it was crispy but not dry. However the chicken and noodles was a bit on the dry side. Dry noodles with pork was very nice.
If you're craving for noodles, this is the place to go! I've tried so many different kinds of their noodles including the magic, beef brisket, golden seafood, and signature friar and they're all consistently good! You have the option to choose the thickness of your noodles. As well as adding extra noodles food free. They have chilli oil on the table if you want extra favors. Highly recommend if tire in the mood for noodles!! P.s if you order through online in their website, you can collect points!
Came for breakfast for a filling meal before driving back to the US. Selected this place as it was open early and offered the full menu. Restaurant was empty, and the food came out quickly. Noodles were good, fairly in line with the other Magic Noodle locations. Expected a bit more flavor in the broth but it did get a bit better towards the end (either that or I just got used to it). Generous amount of meat Lots of parking available as it's in a strip mall.
I got the Red Splash. Noodles was fresh and bouncy and well seasoned. Price is unbeatable at $9.99. Will come back to try other items.
Pretty ok. Got the tomato beef noodle with the triangle noodles, hot and dry noodles and the seaweed salad. Tomato beef noodles were ok. Nothing special about them. The broth was a light tomato taste with a slight sweetness to it but really lacked flavour. Beef was 50% gristle and 50% meat but at least it was tender. The flavour was meaty but fairly standard. Lastly the triangle noodles were interesting and abundant but not really my type of noodle. My wife enjoyed the triangle shaped noodles a lot though. 3/5 Hot and dry noodles was my favourite of what we got but was neither hot nor dry. It had a nice creamy peanut sauce but was one dimensional. Wish it had more pickled vegetables or cucumber to break up the texture because it was basically 95% noodle, 4% meat and 1% everything else. Even after adding the chilli oil on the table it wasn't spicy at all. 4/5 has potential. Seaweed salad was pretty decent but nothing to write home about. Mostly there for texture, it had a nice sesame oil taste to it. It was nice to break up the heavy noodle texture from the whole meal. Would probably be really good with beer too. 4/5 Overall I'd give it 3.5/5 for a quick meal. It's open 24/7 and the copywriter definitely had a lot of fun making the menu. Definitely not a destination restaurant but good if you're in the area and craving thick and chewy noodles.
December 29, 2023 - late night dinner with friends. The service is always fast. It does get a bit noisy but it is what it is. It's also nice to see that they make the noodles fresh. I ordered the Hot and Dry noodles, I love the nutty creamy sauce. It wasn't spicy for me but had lots of flavours. My friends also enjoyed their food. Prices are affordable and love that they are open late. Definitely worth it.
Continuing on my soup kick in the colder weather, I was highly recommended this place by a family member. The first thing that I noticed was that this place is 24 hours! Pretty good sign that it's always busy. A TV on the wall was looping an episode where the Cantomando guys (that's their social media channel) tried their hand at cooking hand made noodles with a head chef from the restaurant. The area that the chef prepares the noodles is open so you might see him kneading and pulling but you'll definitely hear when they're pounding out the noodles! The soup noodles are their signatures but they have other stuff if you're not into soups. I ordered the Triple B which is a classic beef noodle soup kind of deal. It's not intentionally spicy but there is heat. You can select the types of noodle they use and I highly recommend their handmade chewy daoxiao mian! I got to try bites of other dishes and the Smokey Duck and Pot Belly were also delicious. To cap off with dessert, I highly recommend the pumpkin cake. It's chewy and filled with a bean paste on the inside.
24 hours. Hand pulled noodles? Say no more. Service is quick especially if you call ahead and pick up. Everything is good. My go to orders are the signature Fryer and triple B

This was a birthday lunch on a weekday and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this meal. I am definitely biased towards any type of noodle soups and have tried most of the noodle chains, but this was my first visit to Magic Noodles. A huge bonus that they have lunch combos that lets you try their soups + skewers + drink for $16.95. I had their lamb skewer and Magic beef combo and all the flavours were so comforting and spot on. The lamb skewer was a juicy combination of fatty and lean pieces that was grilled very well and my magic beef was gently flavoured without over-powering spices. The fresh noodles are definitely the star of the show and I would come back to try other offerings soon. read more

Tips: - This eatery is open 24 hours a day. - It's also on Fantuan. I've been into soup and noodles lately. They are comforting and perfect when it's cold outside. I was looking at my Fantuan app and noticed this Magic Noodle listing. It's funny. This eatery is a part of a plaza that I frequent often, which includes Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and Popeyes. I had never been to this restaurant until I placed my order on Fantuan! It's open 24 hours each day. I should consider coming here after a concert. I placed this order on my Fantuan app: - Lychee sakura drink - Shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup - Juicy pork buns The lychee sakura drink was free with a $10 order on Fantuan. I got an estimated time of twenty minutes for my order to be prepared. Perfect! I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into it and waited until I got a notification that my food was ready. I walked in and stood at the counter. I got a helpful woman who came over. I showed her my order on Fantuan. She was looking for the order number and said so in Mandarin. I oddly spoke back in Cantonese. I don't even know if she understood it, but she found my order and handed it to me. I thanked her and happily left with a plastic bag with my food. I also got a smaller one for my drink. I then drove home. The lychee sakura drink was delicious. I could not customize it on the app, but it worked in my favour. It was slightly sweet with little bits of lychee in it. It was cold. So good! My order came with utensils, and instructions to heat up your soup and noodles. The soup and noodles in my order were still hot, so I didn't need to follow them. I poured the hot soup into my bowl of wonton noodle soup. I stirred and then devoured everything in my bowl of happiness. The shrimp and pork wontons were flavourful and yummy. I loved them. This place does hand-pulled noodles. I got the classic and loved how chewy they were. Delicious! The bowl had seaweed, dried shrimp, deep-fried onions, cilantro, and scallions. I had to move the cilantro to find the deep-fried onions. This combination with the wontons and soup made this bowl so enjoyable to consume. The soup base was excellent. It wasn't too salty. It was perfect. I had the juicy pork buns afterwards. I got three of them. They were steamed and fluffy on the outside. The pork filling was juicy and packed full of flavour. They were delightful. I'm a fan. Yummy noodles! Ordered the widest type of noodle and it was cooked perfectly al dente. I had opted for non-spicy so I could adjust for spice with the hot oil accordingly. Also tried a variety of appetizers which were delicious and not too spicy. My favourite was the spicy cucumber! It had a nice refreshing crunch and the sauce was addictive. The night started ok. I ordered their The Magic (pictured). Then the night kinda went downhill. As I was splitting the noodles with my mom in another bowl, we noticed a hair in the bowl of noodles. We couldn't tell if it was head hair or something else (gross, sorry no pic). It looked kinda in between. Anyway, we told them about it, and the waitress was nice enough to make us another one. However, the second bowl seemed like it was missing some meat. The lamb slices were completely missing, and a number of other things only had a few (sorry again, no pics). The only thing that it had a lot of was noodles, only cuz we ordered extra, and it was free. So basically the replacement bowl had less meat items. The kebabs came. They were tasty enough, but they came cold. The lamb kebab was a little stringy. The squid was pretty good, but too expensive. The people were pretty nice. At least there's that. Ugh. I don't think I would come back again. I wanted to like this place. Whyyyyyy? Food: 5/10. Service: 7/10. Value: 5/10. Overall: 5/10 (not an average) read more
Really underrated and budget friendly spot, that's open 24/7. Was introduced to Magic Noodle recently after a night of clubbing and karaoke. It was 5am and we were hungry looking for options to eat. Usually your options would be pretty baring: McDonalds, A&W, etc. But if you're in the area of this magic noodles, don't even bother with those other places cause this place will warm your soul no matter what time of day. First and foremost, other than being open 24/7, a huge bonus is the low prices and deals they have available. The dish I got, the pot belly, costed me a whole $8.....$8 for a filling meal at 5am, sign me up everyday of the week. I paid for everyone at the table (around 8 people), and it cost me less than $110. As for the food, at this price point I think there should be absolutely no complaints. The quality and taste mirror the price point, and while I can agree to other reviews and say it leaves some taste to be desired, I personally think the value and quality of it can't be beat. Magic Noodle is an amazing option if you're sober or drunk, no matter what time of day, and is sure to keep your wallet safe. read more
We came here on Saturday around 2am for late night noodles. The restaurant was still very busy at this time with lots of people coming in to eat and even more take out orders! You can see a chef making noodles by hand in their kitchen. We ordered the Pot Belly (pork belly), Triple B (braised beef), and popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was ok, I wish the sauce had a stronger flavour. The Pot Belly noodles was really good and came with knife cut noodles. The Triple B noodles were ok as well, just wish the broth had a richer flavour. Good spot for affordable noodles and it's conveniently open 24/7. read more
Pros: Outstanding food, customizable noodles, very fast service, open 24/7. Cons: service will be lacking for those accustomed to North American waitstaff service but they've always met our needs appropriately. Lots of their dishes use cilantro (which i HATE) but you can always ask to omit that. My family and I love it here. We live about 30+ mins away but will come here about once a week. You can get soup noodles, stir fry noodles, or "dry" noodles (among other things). You can't go wrong with whatever you pick. read more
Comfort food Magic noodle is alwyas there when you need it - open 24 hours with so much warm cozy noodle dishes Choose the broth, noodle type, and any add ons (e.g. egg) and you'll be met with a fully customized bowl! One of the most authentic La Mian in Toronto. Their portions are huge and very affordable. The noodles themselves taste amazing and fresh as the noodles are stretched and made right in front of you. The sitting might be a little small but very cozy. Would definitely recommend it if you want to try some traditional Chinese La Mian. read more
Braised pork n beef noodles, the noodles were great but the soup was really only... The veggies topped was cold... They could of did a quick rinse in hot water or soup cause it not great when u have hot soup and noodles with cold veggie. I enjoyed their pork/ beef sandwich those were really amazing. read more
Gone are the days of League of Legends inspired beverages, but what has stayed the same is reliable access to 24/7 noodle soup. I changed up my order this time with the haggis pot and the yang kebabs. The haggis pot is pretty much what you would expect, a pot of lamb stomach. The volume is definitely an area of improvement at its current price point, but it could be worse. Flavour-wise, it's just fine but what was I really expecting? The Yang Kebabs were quite flavourful and well-seasoned. As with the haggis point, at its current price point you are paying a premium for skewers. I will commend Magic Noodle for quick service, but the staff could have been more attentive as it was quite the mission to ask for refills for the water jugs. With its current ordering system, you can cash out right when you order with the QR code on the tables but keep in mind that you will be asked to tip as well even though they may not have served you at the time of ordering. If there is anything magical about this place, it's how they can operate 24/7 with surprisingly quick turnaround times but look elsewhere for value and overall food experience. read more
My fam and I specifically went out of our way to go to this scarbs location because apparently it's the OG spot! Was a bit of a drive but figured it'd be worth it. Tried the magic ($12.99) and the popcorn chicken ($5.99). Everything was alright but overall I found the food and experience pretty meh. It didn't particularly stand out and tasted pretty plain. Wasn't a huge fan of the magic dish as it didn't really seem to stand out or taste particularly great. It was just alright? Haven't really been a fan of what they've been doing lately and just has been disappointing overall. Not really that interested in coming back to any magic noodle spots until they shake some things up. read more

We were in the mood for different noodles (other than ramen or pho) so here we went. As you can see, they have very flat and wide noodles to thin ones. Note, they are dense dough noodles (unlike ramen or rice vermicelli) You are allowed unlimited noodles should you have some sauce or broth leftover which is something to consider. The noodles themselves are cooked well al dente. There are different sauces and protein to make the dish. They also had skewers that we found enjoyable (squid and lamb). The spices are cumin like with a sweet touch. Service was straightforward and nice. This location is small and very casual w a little window to watch the cook prepare the noodles. There is a dessert place around the corner and an Asian market across the street to walk off some of your meal. read more

24hr noodle restaurant in Scarborough! Worth a try especially for the hand-pulled noodles. Any 24hr spot is an experIence! The flavour lacks in seasoning so I recommend adding chilli oil if you don't mind spice. The meat was well cooked so I was quite pleased with that. Avoid the extra sides that are deep fried, not the best quality and taste. Service at 2am can be quite slow, especially on a Saturday night due to high traffic at this hour - as expected. But overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to satisfy some late night soup cravings. read more

The cold noodles were excellent. Very tasty. The Pork Gamo was good but not great, and the basket for the sandwich was too small, making it difficult to take the Gamo out without dropping the meat inside. I had the Signature and Duck Breast Noodles before, and they were simply excellent. I have been to this restaurant three times in the last month. The servers were always efficient and friendly. Oh, magic noodle. I was enlightened to another dimension when I was introduced here by Dude. Is this place ACTUALLY open 24h? Because that's insanity. Taste was quite alright. I thought it would be dingy due to the long hours but quality's definitely up there. I had the Magic Pork and although it took me a while to disassemble the bone, the taste was good. Broth was super flavourful, thank you MSG! Their snack menu looked great too, but I didn't try any. The portion sizes were mad decent. Place is pretty busy but it's got a pretty big dining area so you don't feel cramped. A big pull for me was that this place is relatively clean. Cutlery wasn't sticky or gross, and there's no residue from the previous customer. Hygiene at Asian places isn't usually top notch so I was pleasantly surprised. read more
24 hour noodle joint! Recommended by a friend. No wait for late dinner on a Friday night at 9ish. I was told the place gets pretty busy later on the night especially after karaoke parties lol What i ordered: The house noodle Grilled pork chop noodles Beef wrap Tofu skewers Lime lemonade Noodles were freshly made in store which were delicious. Service could be better. I made sure to tell my server i want no greens, no cilantro in my noodle, and it still came with, so ofc i had to say something. And she tried to tell me theres no cilantro, just green onions. So i told her I specially asked for none of those and i can smell the cilantro. Then she unwillingly took it back and yelled at some lady at the back who preps that. Other than that, food came fast, everything was pretty good. I would say tofu skewers were my fav! Def a place that can satisfy my late night craves. read more
