Such a cute cafe!!! We had baked French toast with blueberries (delicious), their shaken espresso on ice (love!), millennial toast (cream was sour and odd) and potato and turnip latkes (too salty and oily)!! Great healthy food options. We love the new Ada location! I enjoyed the Caesar Salad. The sweet caramelized onions were a nice touch.

First time coming here! Great food! We got the French toast and the OG with bacon sandwich. Definitely recommend adding the bacon! Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and was bigger than I expected. The service by our waitress was good not great. There were plenty of tables open even with correct spacing with COVID but we were seated at a table directly in full sun. Overall pleasant experience and we will be back! read more

Went to the MudPennhy in Ada several months ago and waited close to an hour for the food. It was excellent when it finally came. Thought that might have been just one bad day for them and decided to give it another chance today. We were seated promptly and our coffee order was taken but it took them about 15 minutes to start making the cafe miel, and then I watched it sit by the barista for about 15 minutes without ever seeing our server, so there was no way it would've been warm when served. By then the two groups who came in after us were being served. Decided it wasn't worth it and left. The restaurant has a lot of potential -- the food looks great and the atmosphere is good -- but poor service will doom it if things don't improve. read more

The Most Unfriendly Barista Ever works at MudPenny in Ada. I've visited here probably 15 times and it's shocking to me how she takes down customers with rude retorts and general unpleasantness. She and the Seinfeld Soup Nazi attended the same school of customer service: don't chat, move along and any special requests like light ice will be ignored. read more

They only had one kind of brewed coffee that tasted sour. The prices are very expensive for what you get. 3$ up charge on changing your bread on the sandwich but didn't tell us. $14 for and egg sandwich. This has been the second time we ate here. Sorry not going back. read more

While we got seated right away. The waiter came and took our drink order. We sat at the table when the restaurant is not packed and plenty of people working we ended up getting our drinks after 20 mins. The only reason someone noticed is because we had to call it to their attention. Not acceptable as well as the food is way overpriced now. Menu changed and not for the good. On a early Tuesday morning I walked into what I thought to be a lovely bakery type restaurant. I was with my daughter who just had a serious Dr apt. Right at Spectrum down the street. All she asked me for was Starbucks with her fancy drink to make her feel better. Well we decided to walk down the sidewalk and check out the shops after doing just that -were hungry and walked into the restaurant. It looked like a nice place and only a handful of tables at 9am. The hostess, who greeted my daughter and I laughed at us bringing in Starbucks- I said oh I know-I didn't plan this we walked down here- she proceeded to seat us. I was feeling uncomfortable but I was intrigued by the elaborate meal options. We placed our order and I see they are evidently serious about there coffee by the looks of the coffee bar. The waitress came by and said,' hey you can't really have those drinks in here.' I said oh.. well we just bought them. She said I can probably bring you a cup to put it into. I said ok, a little annoyed but I didn't want to cause a scene this was embarrassing enough.. I next see the waitresses all standing behind the the bar talking about us and there was a man behind a computer that got up to further talk about the situation as they evidently seen it. The waitress then walks over to me and says for safety reasons we can't have those cups in here. At that point I could see my daughters face in embarrassment so I decided time to go. What a terrible experience we had. I've lived all over the United States, including L.A., I've eaten all over the country and NEVER have I EVER been treated so poorly. Terrible customer service. There's a 100 better ways they could have treated us for evidently offending them by the Starbucks cups and they chose to be like mean kids. Well no thanks- your service sucks and I don't foresee you staying around for long if you think it's ok to treat your customers this way. read more

I ordered takeout from here yesterday for my first experience with them, and while I had some issues with the website I was able to call the restaurant and the nice human on the other end of the line helped me navigate it better and I was able to place my order pretty painlessly. My husband picked it up and let me tell you, it was SOOO GOOD! I am so glad we gave it try on a whim and will definitely be ordering from them again! read more

Not kid friendly and poor customer service. Visited this restaurant twice with my family. It might come off that it's kid friendly but it only goes as far as the kids menu. There's no change table for little ones and we're scolded by the manager for changing our youngest who was 2 months at the time on a table outside the bathroom. Everyone from the manager to our servers we had made us feel that we as a family were a nuisance. Definitely regret even giving this restaurant a second chance. read more
