Really pretty location and pretty clean. The service is a little slower but there's only one person working with a lot of customers. The gelato is pretty good too. I am a little disappointed in the cookie I ordered though. For a almost 5 dollar cookie I expect it to be soft and warm, not cold and hard. But overall I'll go here for a quick dessert/caffeine hit. Foxtail Coffee is like a fancy Starbucks or Dunkin! I enjoy the environment and the coffee is pretty good as well. Menu items also make me think of Starbucks. Service is very friendly and I think the baristas are knowledgeable. Overall this coffee shop is replacing my normal Starbucks run, so that's why I keep making this comparison. So far I've tried all of their seasonal fall drinks and have had multiple bagels and breakfast sandwiches. My partner also got their lemon loaf cake (like sbx) and he liked it. Prices are a bit high, but that's expected in Ada. Parking is easy to find when it's not busy and, bonus points, it's free. 4/5 stars! read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast because we had a gift card. The atmosphere is modern with a high end decor, variety of seating options, and a fireplace. The menu is rather large with quite a random combination of breakfast options, traditional coffee shop drinks, and ice cream. The breakfast sandwiches were average at best. The bagels are on the soft/soggy side but it did the job. I'm not sure if they're premade and just heated up but that's kinda how it tasted. People seem to think this is a great local spot but they don't realize Foxtail has over 80 locations with 10 more on the way. This is a massive chain with locations in multiple states and multiple around GR that are franchised by the Devos family. It's conveniently located but parking can be a pain. The staff wasn't overly inviting and the place was packed. There are a lot of local spots nearby that we would pick first. read more

TLDR: beautiful location and with everything you could want in a coffee shop setting, but the coffee could be better. I seldomly get to downtown Ada, and it is growing and adding new things all the time. I was immediately impressed with how beautiful the cafe was: loads of space, high ceilings, nice decor, and ambiance... everything was gorgeous. It looked like a great place to meet people, spend some time doing work, or enjoy the comfortable seating (there were both tables and chairs and couches to relax a bit). I ordered a cappuccino since I'd already had some coffee that morning. The presentation was good, with a nice foam-to-espresso ratio, and it was served in a 6 oz cup with a saucer. The espresso was a bit too bitter. I don't think the espresso had been dialed in. Anyway, it's a beautiful coffee shop; I may just order a non-espresso drink next time. read more

The staff here is super friendly and always ready to help with orders and anything else. The place itself is great, with a really nice atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for doing schoolwork, personal tasks, or even business-related things. That said, my main issue was with the food. I ordered the pesto sandwich, and honestly, I can only describe it as being lower quality than something you'd get on a plane. I've tried a variety of items from sandwiches to muffins over the years, and while I understand it's a chain and they don't make everything fresh (at least, that's my what I am told buy the staff), I still feel that for a place this nice and at this price point, it should be worth spending $8 or more. Service is always very slow, they gave us a breakfast sandwich with cheese on it after we very clearly explained that our son had a dairy allergy and he could not have any cheese on his sandwich, the coffee is not very good. The space is cute and convenient though, with a nice view. read more

Quite a good batch brew coffee here, which is something most coffee places ignore nowadays. The cafe is pretty and cozy, but they would benefit from some sound dampening efforts. When it's crowded, with machines going and various conversations at the same time, it is loud in there. Never uncomfortable, but could get distracting at times. read more

New place so wife and I took a walk there to check it out. Was very busy for around 1030. One register so the line was a bit long. Moved through the line fairly quickly. However then it bogged down. Took awhile to get our coffees and food. So be prepared to wait. Now on to the food and coffee. I had the three cheese egg bites which were excellent. My wife had the oatmeal cream cookie which she said was good but super sweet. We both had iced coffees and I was impressed with the flavor. Gotta improve the service a bit though. There was noone in line when i arrived and i waited 5 minutes to even be greeted. I want to support local in Ada, but this service is disrespectful. This is a smaller known, retail coffee shop. Obviously, no one compares in size to Starbucks or the spreading annoyance of Biggby. But if you look on their website, you'll see that they are growing and have a presence in many places. The latte was good, the muffin was good. It's a pretty large space and it was very clean. The staff was friendly and engaging when I was asking questions about how business was going. It's not a great place...but it's good! read more

I was so excited to see a new coffee shop in the area and was excited to try it! The space and the location are great and it is super cute and inviting inside. Other than that, I was quite disappointed in my inaugural visit. Besides coffee, my husband ordered an egg croissant breakfast sandwich and I ordered an English muffin breakfast sandwich. The croissant sandwich was served smooshed so badly that it was literally less than a half inch tall on the plate, and the English muffin sandwich was simply an premade egg disc, placed on an English muffin with cheese and then microwaved waaaaay too long and served. The coffee was decent, but the woman who took our order was completely apathetic. Because I want this place to be great I will try it one more time, but if I have as bad of an experience as I did on Sunday, that will probably be the last for me. read more

Coffee was just ok - the mug was difficult to drink out of - especially when it is overfilled. The service was awful....the barista was too busy making her own drink to even acknowledge me. My go-to place as a college student! The space inside is absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My friend got a drink that was iced even though she ordered it hot, but they gladly made another one for her. Kelsey (if that's how her name is spelled) is always so kind and has awesome drink recommendations. Would totally come back just because the staff is so friendly :) Every single drink I've gotten here is absolutely fantastic too!
