went here today and they had banana matcha! It was sooo good! Highly recommend. They have a seasonal menu which changes periodically and is a fun way to try new things!

Lyon street is the perfect cozy place, we always find our selves coming back here! It's nice that you can pick a pastry up from next door at nantucket and have it at lyon street. During the winter the chalets make for a romantic day date. And int he summer the few tables they have outside on the sidewalk are amazing too.

Lyon street cafe is a regular spot for us. I love the vegan chia seed pudding and they always have the latest vegan treats from sweet batches. they have drink specials outside of the normal menu which is what I look for at a coffee shop. the strawberry matcha is good but not the best i've had. it's a little bitter for my taste. my partner loves the nola cold brew which is a chicory coffee. he also claims they have the best vanilla latte which is his go to at most places. i'm excited for the fall/winter specials to come. It can get busy inside but despite a long line, the drinks are made relatively quickly. seating can be hard to find on the weekends. in the winter they have the super cute individual a-frame pods outside. We love hitting the trifecta - lyon street cafe, nantucket bakery, and martha's. it's a great place for treats.

Neat spot! Loved the cute & cozy vibes. Relatively fast service for a busy Saturday morning. Has a small parking lot near it. Got my typical iced vanilla latte & it was good!

First time going to Lyon Street Cafe and we truly enjoyed our time here! It was quite packed but we had been warned of this in advance and I just assumed it must be good if this many people are here and waiting in line. :) The long line went pretty fast thankfully and we were able to order a mocha latte and the special baklava latte. There was a moment we did feel out of place waiting for our drinks but it was just a busy day. Our name was called and we both loved our drinks. The mocha was incredibly smooth and I loved the nutty flavors in the baklava latte. So good! Besides the coffee being good and the people being so kind to us there, this coffee shop is gorgeous and has a lot of simple white and black everywhere. The aesthetic is on point! Definitely looking forward to coming here more and trying more items :)

I forgot... but it's the Orange coffee limited time drink!

I loved the vibes and interior inside. It's fairly small, but it seems quite popular! It's a nice place to take out your laptop to work or just chill for a bit. The service was quick and efficient!

Fun, cute, spacious place with great service! I stopped in for the first time and grabbed an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and was surprised at how quickly and kindly the service was even with a packed cafe! The latte was excellent! For someone needing a dairy alternative they offered Oat and Almond. The price was the same in comparison to all other places I have been too.

A great place to hang out, comfortable seating, and the bakery right next-door allows for easy additions to your caffeinated beverage. Friendly service and I had a delicious latte. Appreciate the pointer from my local friend, Rob.

Stopped in today for the first time with a friend! Service was fast & staff was friendly. We both got the Carmel macchiatos - which were great. The inside was full of people studying/working - ambiance was calm. Such a cute setup outside with little heated huts to enjoy your coffee in! They do have a few food options in the display case as well. Or feel free to grab some bakery items from Nantucket next door & relax!

After working from literally all of Grand Rapids 4-5 star rated coffee shops in a span of five weeks, Lyn Street Cafe makes top three. Here's why: 1) Coffee: After ordering many lattes from many shops, Lyon Street Cafe's was the best brewed with the right amount of foam, richness and balance. 2) Space: It's simply designed with tables with outlets and strong wifi throughout. 3) Service: Staff were friendly! 4) Location: Just east of downtown and Medical Mile, it's on a street with several other local businesses worth visiting like Martha's Vineyard. If you love coffee and/or need a place to work, head to Lyon Street Cafe. Street parking is nearby.

We loved our trip to Lyon Street Cafe! It was very spacious, with all sorts of groups there- people working, people studying, people just hanging out. If you wanted to beat the crowd, they also have shanties outside! We saw they had some yummy looking baked goods (but we didn't try any). Our drinks, however, were great! My fiancé was thrilled when he realized they had beer on tap, so that was what he went for, and I got a spicy mocha with oat milk. It was what I expected- good, a mocha with a little bit of kick. Definitely somewhere to check out if you're in the area!

I've been going since late 2022/early 2023, back when they were just a vintage shop (with a cute cat) at their old spot further down Division. I first came across them at a market and bought a shirt (still probably my favorite shirt in my collection) but at the time they were pretty under the radar, so I forgot the name. Almost a year later, an old friend complimented that same shirt, which led to me telling the whole story. I was like, "all I remember is they sold spoon rings," and said friend immediately goes, "sounds like Otono on Division." Ofc I went there that weekend, and sure enough, that was them. Been a fan ever since. At this point, a good chunk of my wardrobe is from them. It's been really cool seeing how much they've grown and evolved, especially with the addition of the café. I think it's such a hit and fits their vibe perfectly. The owners are also super personable and the staff are always kind. I added a few pics from past visits, but I definitely recommend checking them out. And if you get lucky, they sometimes have cookies and other treats from Cou Cou Bakehouse when there are leftovers from her pop-ups!

Honestly, I am not a huge sandwich person, but if I heard a sandwich shop is good, I'll try it. The sandwich was cut in half and had their Michigan Turkey, bacon, avocado, and other veggies that you can read in their menu. The turkey was really delicious - like, really, REALLY delicious. It was so flavorful and soft. And the veggies like avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce tasted so fresh. I got it with sourdough bread, which was really good. It was a bit tough to put the whole sandwich in your mouth because of the crusty crusts (lol), so I just resorted to eating it with a fork and a knife (very proper). The food came out rather quickly, and the service was very sweet, friendly and down to earth. Ambience was great! Casual and friendly. There is street parking - usually, it's not too difficult to find parking around this area. But maybe I just get lucky, I don't know. If it's a good day, you can walk around and enjoy the scene with the river and park!

The service was a tiny bit slow but we were not in a time crunch so it wasn't really a big deal. I had a glass of wine and my friend and I split an appetizer, a charcuterie board, and the Parisian sandwich. Their menu is seasonal but I think the sandwiches stay pretty consistently. Everything was really good and high quality. I especially loved the sandwich. Truly similar to the same sandwiches you can get everywhere in Paris. The charcuterie board was yummy with unique choices! Everything paired pretty well. I would definitely come back here to try more menu options and wine :)

If you liked Aperitivo, you'll love Sav Sav. Everything we ate was delicious, but we both loved the tomato and burrata small plate the most. It was bursting with flavor and was nicely balanced between savory and sweet. I also really loved the Parisian and want to try the other sandwich options. I'm excited to see how their concept evolves! The little market area is super cute and they have lots of tinned fish, cookbooks, wine, snacks, and more. This will be a go-to spot for me in the Downtown Market.
