Biscoff cappuccino

Cute shop that needs to go on your list right now! We love to support a female owned business! The two ladies who run this shop are amazing and so sweet! One of my favorite items I've tried was their savory cheddar rosemary scone! Absolutely love the big chunks of salt on top! The most recent time I went, I enjoyed a Biscoff Cappuccino and it was divine. Can't wait to go again for something sweet! Please try this place out and support if you're ever in the area!

Cute little coffee shop! I loved the pecan pie seasonal latte and my toddler surprisingly liked the cardamom macaroon. They also had super yummy looking in house cocktail syrups available! They were very busy and my single latte took about 20 minutes, but the two baristas were working extremely hard and offered my toddler a free book when he became impatient, which was so sweet!

Crème brûlée latte and pumpkin chocolate chip scone

Checked this place out on Saturday with a friend and my 4 year old daughter. I thought the service was fast and the food and drink were good. I tried the crème brûlée latte because I was excited for the experience of having my drink blow torched! While the top didn't exactly "crack" it was still fun . If I make it by again I want to try something with the pistachio milk - I've never heard of that! I love the unique options . I had a chocolate chip pumpkin scone (split it with my daughter) and it was more like the texture of a muffie (muffin top) so no complaining here! The only suggestion I'd have is maybe something a little more kid friendly; the only option that my daughter really liked as far as drinks goes was a chocolate steamer and it came in the traditional cup - maybe something less...breakable? Overall, a fun experience for Grown ups for sure!

Amazing service, homemade pastries and syrups, great coffee and ambiance. You can tell everything is made with love and care.

Special- coconut delight latte

Wow-- a must visit cafe. Very cute and quaint! Not a lot of seating available so you may need to plan on a to go order. We came around 1030am on a Sunday and there were 2 tables and the hightop window bar available. It seemed to have a decent amount of turnover. 2 tables left in the ~40 min we were there. Raspberry and Nutella slice- good size. This is one of their classics. The flavor is amazing and the crust is thick but not difficult to get through at all. I told my husband I wanted a full size pie S'mores cake slice- delicious. I often feel places put too much coffee/ espresso powder in chocolate cakes and this one tasted like there was the correct hint to compliment the chocolate crumb, but not so much that you feel you are eating a coffee flavored cake. There is a layer of chocolate (ganache?) and toasted marshmallow topping. Also would like a full cake!! Coffees- The coconut delight is a special. If you like mounds or almond joy, you are going to LOVE this. Crème brûlée latte is a classic on their menu, bruleed tableside and we were told to let it sit a few minutes for the top to harden to have small caramelized pieces while drinking. This was also delicious. A fun twist on a classic latte.

A modern-elegant, sleek and cozy cafe right at the corner of Wealthy St and Eastern Ave. There is metered street parking enforced M-F until 7pm in the vicinity. First impression: this cafe is cute and clean. Ordering was prompt. I had a hot chocolate with a crème brûlée top (not a menu item). The hot chocolate was mildly sweet and watery or as the barista described it, "an adult hot chocolate." Imagine 30% sweetness of a swiss miss packet. The brûlée top was flamed at the table, a fun mini experience. That helped add sweetness to the drink. It was served in an adorable tea cup and saucer with a dainty silver spoon. Makes for picturesque drinks. Follow them on instagram for updates on drinks, featured pastries, and closings @chartreusesistersgr

Excellent bakery! Went here for the first time today by chance and am glad we stopped by. It's a cute little welcoming cafe for people with a serious sweet tooth. I believe the pastries are made in house. We ordered a slice of early grey cake with a pistachio rose latte and Nutella latte. Both were fantastic. I took an ube cheesecake to go, and it's a perfect combination of ube, cream cheese and biscotti. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

My brother and I wanted to get some sweet treats to share with our parents and decided to stop by and I'm glad we did! The interior is so cute and the sisters who own the shop are super sweet! I highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat or one of their fun drinks!

Freshly brewed coffee, honey lavender matcha, and raspberry guava jalapeño bliss bar.

What a wonderful little café! Super welcoming, warm and cozy. I had the BEST and most beautiful hot matcha drink today, and the raspberry bliss bar was absolutely delicious: bursting with flavor and not too sweet. The Chartreuse sisters are super kind and it was so fun to get to speak French too! Will come back for sure, I wish I lived in that neighborhood to visit every day!

So happy I stopped by! The baked goods were absolutely perfect great texture and amazing flavor. As a huge London Fog and Paris Fog fan, I was thrilled with how good theirs were. I also love their sustainability focus and the way they've preserved the charm of the old pharmacy with photos and historic touches.

Alyson and Mallory have created such a cute business together! I remember trying their pastry boxes a few years ago when it was a pop up out of their home. When I stopped into their brick and mortar store for the first time, I ran into their parents who chaperoned our college study abroad group in Nice and Paris. Their pastries and drinks are adorable, and service is great! I'm not a huge mocktail person, but theirs are unique and tasty. Great to have a taste of France here in GR.

Cherry oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

Easily one of the best patisseries ever, but especially in Grand Rapids! They catered desserts for a family members wedding and they were all anyone could talk about! I also had a matcha there and it was incredible! Can't say enough good things about this place!! The Ube cheesecake is the best thing I've had in a long time!

Their baked goods are so tasty. I think the financier is my favorite, though you really can't go wrong here.

Very minimalistic. I don't like it. Drinks are good. They still serve pastries from local Nantucket bakery. To me, the place looks weird, looks unfinished and seating is not comfortable

The new space is way bigger and brighter, with lots of natural light and space to hang out, get some work done, and enjoy a unique beverage + vegan breakfast sandwich! They also have a lot of fun art everywhere, as well as plenty of cute and irreverent items for sale. Loved the Snoopy stuff! Nate and I stopped in recently to get something from their summer menu - I tried the reaper: vegan caramel syrup, cream soda, espresso, and oat milk marshmallow vanilla cold foam. Nate ordered the sacred heart: lemon syrup, tonic, matcha, oatmilk marshmallow vanilla cold foam, with a dried lemon garnish. Phew! They were both very tasty, smooth and not too sweet. I always enjoy the opportunity to try something unique, and Morning Ritual has always provided that. Also, major points for taking our names for our drinks! Hearing "oat milk latte" and then seeing someone else take your drink is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to coffee shops. It's such a small thing that can make such a big difference and yes I will continue to write about this in every coffee shop review ever, lol. It looks like the space will serve as a music venue, and their sign also mentioned a photobooth, which wasn't there when we visited, so I'm excited to see what they will offer to the community as they continue to bloom in this new location. Parking: metered street parking is available nearby, be prepared to walk a bit!
