Lemon Blueberry cheesecake and Red Velvet cheesecake
    Victoria S.

After moving nearby 4 months ago, Nantucket on Fuller has become a weekly stop! We always get a loaf of their garlic parmesan bread and will use it to dip in runny eggs, make grilled cheese sandwiches, or use it to make regular sandwiches (most recent being Thanksgiving leftovers)! We've also had some of their delicious sandwiches, cheesecakes, and always try to run in and snag one of their special weekend baked goods. Service is quick and the staff are so friendly, and everything is priced so well for being made in house. They also have delicious cakes that we love to order for birthdays and events. We had the lemon blueberry cheesecake and red velvet cheesecake today - pic attached. Soooo good!

Layers of croissant, sweet but not too sweet, and totally delicious!!

Was waiting as I bought an item on Marketplace in the parking lot (what a place to meet) and I was early. Such a cute, old building, clean and a choice of bakery items. I'm sure there were more earlier as I didn't get there until 4 in the afternoon. I also picked out an apple danish, chocolate muffin and blueberry muffin. You know I had to at least try a little of each. Service was excellent. So very good.

We have come here for years. From their focaccia to the cake balls, morning buns, croissants, cakes, breads you absolutely can not go wrong. This is a hidden gem and for all ages. Highly recommend

This was my first time at Nantucket Baking. I'd heard so much about this bakery since I've moved here, and I decided it was finally time that I tried it. Well, honestly, I tried it because my friend saw on Instagram that Nantucket had just come out with a special pastry called Yuzu passion fruit. It looked so beautiful in the picture that we had to try it. I got a breakfast flat bread slice and they use a passion fruit. Let me tell you, I went at around 9:00 AM on a Saturday, and there was already a long line. Not for the Yuzu, but just for the pastries in general! The Yuzu passion fruit pastry was really good. It was so beautiful!! I could tell it was really well done and a lot of care and time went into it. Some thing I did appreciate was that it was not overly sweet. It was definitely was a unique pastry. The croissant was just a perfect touch of crispiness and softness. The colors made the pastry look so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. I also got the flatbread slice - it had bacon, an egg, and other breakfast things on it. It was really filling! The bread itself was a nice texture and amount. I split it with a friend, and was still full after. Flatbread was $5, and Yuzu croissant was $8. Service was great - the people behind the counter were so nice and patient. Overall, a really nice vibe, and I can see why it is such a well loved place by locals. There is more like a drop by and pick up your food to go. No place to sit down to eat, but enough places to park.

Just beautiful pastries. I bought basque cheese cake and pumpkin pie. They were delicious.

I have always love the baked treats from Nantucket, but I recently ordered a cake from them for my friend's birthday and was also blown away! I ordered the cake online, and then Nantucket called me back following my online order. They were able to work with me to get the exact design I was looking for. This Strawberries and Cream cake itself was delicious, and even after the birthday party there was always a trail of crumbs coming from the fridge as my roommate and I could not stop eating the leftovers!

I'll preface this by saying I absolutely love everything Nantucket has to offer. None of their baked goods are even close to being "bad". But for this last visit for Fat Tuesday there were some pretty bad customer service issues and my order wasn't the greatest. What I got from this location - king cake. What I ordered - king cake, paczki, and some sandwiches (more on that later). I've never tried or even heard of king cake before last week. There's lots of different "versions" of it but they all have the same flavoring - cinnamon, orange, and almond. This sounded delicious to me but when I tried it none of the flavors popped. There wasn't much almond or orange flavor, only cinnamon was noticeable. The texture was fluffy but crumbly and dry. So, to me, this just tasted like a slightly sweet and stale loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Once again, this is my only experience with king cake, so take that as you will. Come next year I don't think I'll be ordering this again. I also ordered paczki and some sandwiches well in advance. When I got to the bakery they only had the king cake and none of the other items I ordered and paid for. I had to have a pretty lengthy conversation with one of the staff members and pulled up the receipt with the correct location and date. After about 15 minutes they went back and checked some stuff and it turns out the order got sent to the other Nantucket location even though it showed the Fuller location for pickup. Oh well, it happens and wasn't the staffs fault. I just wish the customer service was better as the staff were getting a bit impatient and rude.

Cold case - drinks, cheeses, butters, and other fun finds - we've found pate, salmon, and a few other one off goodies depending on the day

Simply THE BEST! If you're in GR, you must stop here. We've enjoyed their original location for years, and we're so happy to have a new shop on the NE side of town. Their baked goods are top notch. Always fresh and creative. They have it ALL. Cupcakes, bagels, bread, pastries, croissants, and anything else you might want. They have a great selection of pies, crackers, coffee cakes, and a few cold case items as well. You definitely won't regret stopping here. Just plan to drop some cash because you won't be able to pick just one thing! Also, their staff is delightful. Patient and well informed about what's in the case each day!

Perfectly cooked egg, this was so good!

Probably the best bakery in Grand Rapids. The only problem I ever have visiting here is that I want one of everything. I love popping in and getting a few pastries to save her over the weekend and I've also been known to snag a few of their baguette sandwiches for lunch. On our last visit, we were greeted warmly and I picked out probably the best donut I've ever had. I want to preface this by saying I do not like filled donuts. However, the honeycomb filled donut changed my entire perspective. Sweet honey flavored pastry cream piped in a perfectly cooked brioche doughnut With crumbled honeycomb candy on top. it's been a couple weeks and I am still daydreaming about this donut! I also got the baguette sandwich with prosciutto, nectarine, preserves and brie, ohhh utter perfection. My husband got the breakfast flatbread and could not stop raving about it. They even managed to get the egg the perfect consistency, so it still had a little bit of a run to it when bitten into. All in all our visit left us very full and very happy.

Aframe huts that seat four at the coffee shop next door.

The building was incredibly crowded and incredibly loud parking was pretty limited except for the parking lot across the street in order to actually sit comfortably or do anything here you would have to bring headphones that have noise canceling Even after a big family left it was still incredibly loud and pretty cramped. The frosting immediately fell off the cupcake as soon as I walked out the door I thought that maybe I tilted it but it looks like it just ran down the side when I went to take a sip of my frappuccino I noticed that there was no white chocolate taste whatsoever and the three shots of espresso covered up any flavor possible All in all I don't know that I'd go back here again it was pretty affordable and if you want to bang for your buck it would be okay. If you need somewhere to study or to work that's quiet and peaceful and you don't want a lot of distractions this wouldn't be the place for you.

Honestly, I am not a huge sandwich person, but if I heard a sandwich shop is good, I'll try it. The sandwich was cut in half and had their Michigan Turkey, bacon, avocado, and other veggies that you can read in their menu. The turkey was really delicious - like, really, REALLY delicious. It was so flavorful and soft. And the veggies like avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce tasted so fresh. I got it with sourdough bread, which was really good. It was a bit tough to put the whole sandwich in your mouth because of the crusty crusts (lol), so I just resorted to eating it with a fork and a knife (very proper). The food came out rather quickly, and the service was very sweet, friendly and down to earth. Ambience was great! Casual and friendly. There is street parking - usually, it's not too difficult to find parking around this area. But maybe I just get lucky, I don't know. If it's a good day, you can walk around and enjoy the scene with the river and park!
