Was really excited to try this place since it was on my route this morning and unfortunately I was disappointed. I went in looked at a few items The lady at the front was on top of things She greeted me as I came in the door and asked what I was looking for I was looking for nothing in specific I ended up grabbing two macaroons A cupcake and what I thought was a frozen white chocolate coffee. The building was incredibly crowded and incredibly loud parking was pretty limited except for the parking lot across the street in order to actually sit comfortably or do anything here you would have to bring headphones that have noise canceling Even after a big family left it was still incredibly loud and pretty cramped. The frosting immediately fell off the cupcake as soon as I walked out the door I thought that maybe I tilted it but it looks like it just ran down the side when I went to take a sip of my frappuccino I noticed that there was no white chocolate taste whatsoever and the three shots of espresso covered up any flavor possible All in all I don't know that I'd go back here again it was pretty affordable and if you want to bang for your buck it would be okay. If you need somewhere to study or to work that's quiet and peaceful and you don't want a lot of distractions this wouldn't be the place for you. read more

I live close to Sugar Momma's and have been getting pastries from them for years. So, when my parents 50th anniversary was coming up, I thought they'd be the perfect place to order a cake from. I was disappointed that they didn't offer gold for the lettering but decided that wasn't a huge deal. When I showed up to pick up the cake, the girls opened the box to show me the cake and I was very disappointed by the sloppy hand writing but it was too late to do or say anything since I was headed to the anniversary party and didn't have time to get one from anywhere else. Making it even worse, was that the cake was not flavorful and it was very dry, even crusty in some areas, even with the chocolate mousse layers. I won't be back there to get anything from them after this. I paid $70 for a cake for a once in a life time celebration and 1/2 of it went in the trash because nobody liked it. read more

We ordered three cakes - strawberry, chocolate and carrot and they were amazing. Yes it my wedding reception so I obviously had to try them all! They were fantastic!!! The second time was today - at my baby shower. We got the strawberry cake again (because the consistency is flawless on that one!!) and we tried coconut with chocolate icing. Wow. So good. Since I moved, I've been kind of exploring Ada and the surrounding areas. One day, my kids were actually being really good and so we stopped into this bakery to check it out and possibly get them a treat. Since then, I've been back a few times and have had similar experiences. The shop is located in a little strip mall on 28th street near Cascade and looks fairly nondescript from the outside. The location is actually quite convenient and the parking lot is never overcrowded. When I first went in with my kids, I was greeted by a really friendly young lady who patiently explained what all the different wares were to my kids who were excitedly asking. The shop on the inside is quaint and clean (my wife would say "it's so cute!", but since I'm a guy, I'm using that verbiage.) There was a fair selection of baked goods/pastries and they also have a decent hot coffee selection, which came in handy one morning when I realized I was out at home and needed to get some on my way downtown. The cakes look nice, but I haven't had one yet. What I can say is that the cookies, cupcakes and other baked goods have always been very good tasting. One of the lemon bars I got seemed like it had spent a while in the display case. It was still really tasty, but the lemon curd was a bit dry on the top. If the baked goods were consistently fresh, I would give it 5 stars. Still, my kids and my wife have always been very happy with their treats and, hey, if the promise of a trip here helps incentivize the kids to not start any shenanigans while I'm driving them home from school, then it's all good. read more

There are no coincidences. When a parking lot resurfacing caused me to find a detour on a recent visit to my hairdresser, I found myself glancing across the street as I waited for traffic to clear. The bakery also has an attached cafe where patrons can stop by for a meal or select from their extensive menu of specialty drinks. Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good bakery. So, when I stopped by for my second visit within a week (yes, the baked good were that good), I was surprised to hear my name.
