Veggie omelet with hash browns.
Kurt G.

This restaurant has been a favorite among locals in Wyoming and Kentwood for a long time. Carol was our server and a brilliant part of a team that worked well together. The place was packed on Saturday morning, with a line outside. The food is traditional, with a good variety. I ordered the vegetable omelet, which came with Swiss cheese, hash browns, and free sautéed onions. It was generously filled with vegetables and kept me full for most of the day. I love the cozy, old diner atmosphere that makes it feel warm and inviting. Check it out!

French toast with syrup

Feel like I traveled back in time to a great eat spot of the 80s in what used to house a Mr. Fable's restaurant. I found the place nostalgic, clean and a pleasant surprise. Great olive burger that was meatier and on a crisp grilled bun. Had a side of crispy hash browns with onions as well. My son said the bacon was great and not skimpy and enjoyed the fresh French toast and hashbrowns. No wait and the staff was welcoming.

The food is amazing and the service is great! It's a tad greasy though so people with digestive issues should order with caution.

An enjoyable experience! This was our first time visiting and the food and service was excellent…read more We enjoyed two coffees where you have an option to have them regular, decaf or a hazelnut brew. We chose regular and they were good. For food we ordered a combo meal and the western omelette. Both meals we asked for hash browns and they were so crispy and delicious! All the food was seasoned well. The omelette was filled with all the vegetables and tons of bacon (opted out of ham). The pancakes were so soft and fluffy! The server was awesome and so welcoming. Overall a great experience. Parking: We found parking right in front. It was side street parking and you use the mobile app to pay to park.

Fun famous photos on the walls that are altered to have bunch themed quotes. The service is slowww. I get it they're busy, but this is clearly the expectation. Food, refills and check took a long time. But the reason it's not a 5/5 is really because they take the classics, and put a twist that really isn't an improvement for at least what we got. Square slightly burnt biscuits with barely enough gravy for 3/4 of it (see pic). And the Benedict had a full ham steak, which is just so much meat compared to the typical set up and all the eggs were overdone and not runny at all. Very cool place, cool location, fun atmosphere if you don't care how long you're there, but the food under delivered. I'd lean 3.5 over 3 but can't give a 4.

I wouldn't have ever thought to head to social misfits for my weekday morning matcha but here we…read moreare. the menu includes standards and fun lattes with house made syrups. they also have oat and almond milk for a $2 up charge. i ordered an iced matcha with pistachio syrup and my partner ordered a bananas foster latte (both with oat milk). The pistachio syrup was legit - there were actual pistachio chunks and no fake pistachio extract flavor. i definitely would have preferred my drink sweeter though. i was also impressed by the drink to ice ratio. so many iced drinks are mostly ice but this matcha was FULL and not overly diluted with milk. i really enjoyed the flavor of the matcha itself as well. my partner said he'd give his latte a 9.1 out of 10. unfortunately there do not seem to be any vegan food options so it will be drinks only for us.

It's very punk rock and lively in there, walking in a sigh said " Please don't do coke in the bathrooms" lol so like ok sure!? lol The whole place menu is built on waffles, sweet and savory! We went with one of each...the pizza stick waffles and a monte cristo sandwich, both were heavy, filling, delicious like bar food, I would say. They were quite busy with every seat filled and we still got very fast service.

Honestly it was an incredible location for a space and had such a great vibe inside. My best friend is a regular at the restaurant and we're hoping to see them more in smaller capacities like when we saw them at the Fulton St. Market. Overall, the food was really good. I like the concept of fast-casual dining without the need to have a server. I think it allows things to feel more casual and allowed for me to be more willing to eat there (obviously in other circumstances lol). I got the horchata hot cakes with some of the papas with ghost sauce. I thought the pancakes were GREAT and more than worth it for the price. I was surprised how large and fluffy they were. The flavor was great without being too sweet and none of the flavors being too overpowering. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches and chaichata drinks and absolutely loved them. My friend loved her drink so much she got two within the span of us eating. I know it's a hard time for local businesses but I'm hoping there are more ways we can still see them around.

Different from the last time I was here but we were told to find a seat upon entering and that when we were ready, we could order our food at the counter. I looked over their menu and found lots of good breakfast taco options, the breakfast burrito I have heard is great, but what really caught my attention was the biscuits and gravy. I was feeling quite ravenous this morning and got the full order for $11 and a side of bacon. They had a table close to the entrance with extra menus, clean cups, water jugs, hot sauces, silverware and napkins. Seemed like a help-yourself vibe which I grabbed everything we would need for our meal. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and my bf ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and sausage. He told me it tasted so good and he loved that he could make his own tacos with his food. He let me try one of the hashbrown rounds and it was perfectly crispy! My biscuits and gravy were phenomenal. The biscuits were so fresh and the gravy had a really nice and comforting flavor to it. You could get chorizo and mushrooms in your gravy but i went with a traditional sausage for my protein. My bacon on the side came in a tiny dish but I ate all four pieces haha. Once we finished, there were some bus bins under the same table with the silverware, we placed all our dirty dishes there and cleaned up after ourselves before leaving. I honestly felt so content leaving there and can't wait to return. I really appreciate the ambiance in there with the beautiful plant life, the lights on the ceiling, and cool decor in general. The staff was also SO NICE! Wins everywhere. I also noticed people coming in for takeout which is good to know in case I don't feel like dining in some morning. Please check this place out sometime if you're in the mood for some really good breakfast that doesn't break your bank account.
