Non alcoholic sangria

Amazing food options and a great variety of NA options. The ambiance looks expensive and luxurious but prices are affordable. The food really is high quality. I got the hashtag. It was a whole breakfast bowl on a waffle. Delicious

The Dope One - a mushroom centric and asparagus heavy meal on a waffle topped with an egg perfectly done.

The place has class and a fun atmosphere. The waffle forward menu is bold and delivers. The service was good and pleasantly delivered. Everyone came away stuffed and happy.

This place has some very unique breakfast dishes mostly waffle based. We stopped in here with a small group and were seated promptly. Our server was prompt and we ordered a few of the crazy fun dishes. I had the Love me tender dish which was a waffle with peanut butter, caramelized banana, bacon and a maple bourbon syrup. Oh my this was good. The rest of my group had amazing dishes as well and we had a great time. When in Grand Rapids, stop in here for a fun unique breakfast.

London Fog

This restaurant/coffee shop has a lot of great drinks! We settled in after walking around the river and were quickly seated. Our server was friendly and gave us a couple of suggestions. My London Fog was absolutely fantastic! It was one of the best ones I have ever had and I drink them often!!!! I loved the lavender sprig on top. The grilled cheese was AMAZING! Wow! Tons of flavor with crispy cheesy edges. It was a large sandwich and quite filling. I did the swap for the hummus and veggies. It was delicious. I forgot to get a picture of the sandwich but it is something I would definitely order again. The prices are a little high but not ridiculous. I would come back.

Latte

Was in the area for work and stumbled upon this place. It gets quite popular, so you may want to reserve a table. This is a CASHLESS establishment. Waitstaff was extremely friendly, the vibe here is "comfy trendy". They serve differnt types of sweet and savory waffles, as well as non waffle dishes. There is an interesting ramen waffle I wanted to try, but am a basic waffle lover at heart. Inside and outside seating. I would definitely come back here again.

The menu here is full of unique waffles and coffees/cocktails. Our sever was great, very personable and attentive despite being busy. Our food was fresh and flavorful.

Frittata
Aly M.

Great location down town and has a kind of hang out vibe with darker setting and bar feel. Also had a surprisingly good salad and frittata for the bar-waffle vibe they had going on. The salad had croutons that were made from maple-waffles. Overall, food was great. Limited servers but we came at an off hour. Friendly, nice and punctual with the food.

Side of chicken, latte, waffle

Seated immediately on a Friday morning. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. Great recommendations and I was able to get sweet with a side of savory (chicken). Soooo yummy and presented beautifully. One of my favorite stops this trip.

Monte cristo
Keyin L.

Came here for a work dinner and we ordered the monte Cristo and Nashville hot. Both portions were huge but delicious. We sat right by the window and it was overall a great time!

Bananas Foster Iced Latte = 10/10! Loved being able to enjoy cocktails at night and then wake up to a delicious latte in the morning during our stay at the Residence Inn.

Great vibe, great food and better service- eclectic art

Delicious waffles in a relaxed atmosphere. Sugar Lovers -a great place to visit. Eclectic decorations- including musician photos and more!

A little overpriced waffles, and they were...fine. Easily could be made at home, and nothing too exciting that draws me to want to return.

That said, it is pretty painless. You can sign up on the spot and the email with the code comes through within minutes, so it does not slow things down too much. They offer outdoor seating even in the winter, and while it is technically heated, you will still need a coat. It was cold enough that we chose to sit inside instead, but the interior was also chilly. Every time the door to the patio opened, a draft of cold air rushed in, which made the space feel colder than expected. The drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality mostly backs up the price. I ordered the Donna's Kiss and it was absolutely worth it, very well made and delicious. My friend had a Moscato that was sweet and easy to drink. We also ended up getting two free shots of tequila because they liked our vibes , which was a nice and unexpected bonus! Definitely a great move on their behalf because it just goes to show that the staff there were super welcoming and that makes me want to come back (probably when it's warmer!!).

Stopped in here with a friend before an event. I will need to go back to get a full experience, but…read morethe short time we were there was nice. It was a hot day, but after work the patio was out of the sun, so we opted for a table outside. The patio is cute. I like that there are a bunch of 2 person tables rather than large party tables, and the lights are nice. Our server was very pleasant. She definitely knew what she was talking about and was able to tell us if something was going to be super sweet, and which drinks were more popular. Also, after she seated us and gave us the menu she gave us a few minutes and came back with waters and little samples of lavender lemonade, which was really good! I ordered the rosemary gin fizz, and my friend ordered one of the zero proof mocktails. She was warned it would be sweet, and she said it was definitely sweet for her taste. I was told my gin fizz was a little sweet as well, but I didn't find it to be overly sweet. I thought it was really nicely balanced, and wasn't excessive on any of the individual flavors. I was hoping for a little more of a salted rim, but it had more of a decorative salt patch on the side. That's the only thing I would probably change about it. Oh, and it's called a fizz, but is definitely still, not sparkling. While we weren't there to eat, and it is a distillery, not a restaurant, I did expect to see a few more food options. I can't knock them for that though, as we didn't try any. Overall, I would go back here for a quick happy hour or to have a quick drink again before an event. I liked the space, the service was great, and the cocktail was really pleasant.

The Parker rolls may seem 'regular' but they do rolls WELL! They are soft with a slightly hard top (in a good way) with a fluffy and whipped butter. Second time coming to Gin Gin's. Made a reservation many weeks ago and was seated promptly…read more Service was not as attentive tonight as the last time we came. We ordered our cocktails and waited alittle while to get them. Food was overall delicious. But unfortunately my Wagyu NY strip was slightly disappointing. With six pieces of steak - only 4 were eaten. The other two were way too tough and/or fatty. Kind of unfortunate for a $63.00 steak à la carte with no sides. The sides were all delicious. And my husband loved his pasta dish. We took a key lime pie home to go. It was fantastic! The wedge salad was okay - nothing special. This place is obviously popular. And I remember it being so much better last time. I just expect more when we spend so much on our meal. Very noisy but that is the same as before. It is a popular bar spot so I expect the noise. I wish I could say more positive things about our dinner. My cocktail was pretty good! And the macaroni and cheese was pretty amazing.

The study was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Cameron took care of us. Nice guy and attentive. Hubby and I started with cocktails. He had an interesting bourbon drink with aperol and amaro. It was so good - and pretty! I had my usual bees knees. Missed the mark unfortunately. It had some fizz, which it should just be gin, lemon and honey. No soda. We ordered the deviled eggs as a starter. They were made with dijon and cornichons, topped with paprika, chives and lardon. Such a delicious bite. Hubby had the salmon tacos from the daily special menu. He loved the Spanish rice that came on the plate and the perfectly seasoned moist salmon. I had the seafood tagliatelle with shrimp, crab, salmon belly, fennel, and capers in a vodka sauce topped with toasted breadcrumbs. It was amazing! Thankfully, we had a refrigerator in our hotel room because I took half the tagliatelle to go. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the Grand Rapids area. The space is beautiful, the food is delicious and the service is spot on. Great find!
