Servers are so sweet, they're fast and friendly. The food is phenomenal and I love how they have a points system for regulars and a student discount for GVSU students. Cute decor and the historical photographs are neat to look at while waiting for a table. Whoever does the chalkboards is an ARTIST, it's always current and a marvel to look at. I've been going since my freshman year at GV four years ago and between the community, events, and food, I won't be going back East anytime soon!

Cinnamon roll pancakes and a waffle with strawberries. 5 stars!

I've ordered from here a number of times during this whole covid thing and have never been disappointed with pickup. Today I got a chance to eat in and the service always as good as the food. I was SUPER impressed with how clean the place was. The staff followed guidelines for this virus to a T. Everyone wore masks correctly, they were washing hands thoroughly and often. And, we waited in our car for a text and were seated right away. Now the food.. amazing. I asked for extra crispy hash browns, got em. Perfectly cooked eggs, no problem. A waffle that's light and fluffy inside and not soggy outside with strawberry's and whip cream, no problem. And the whip cream was fresh. Service was excellent (thanks Kerri). I'll be back again, and often. One of my favorite brunches. And do yourself a favor, get the cinnamon roll pancake. You're welcome.

The space is kind of smaller but we were able to sit right away. The theme of the place is kind of quirky - there are celebrity mug shots on the walls with descriptions of their crimes, as well as a "jail" photo op. Most of the menu items have jail/prison themed names too. It's definitely unique! I'd heard great things about the burgers so I knew I had to try one. They have nine different specialty burgers that come with two quarter pound patties, or you can substitute fried or grilled chicken for no charge. I got the Reveille (one egg cooked to order, bacon, and cheddar), and Nate got the Brushy Mountain with marinated chicken (you can also get it with fried chicken). Crinkle fries are standard, or you can get waffle fries or sweet potato fries for an up charge. Our food took a little bit of time to come out, but we enjoyed watching the MSU women's soccer game on the big TVs while we waited. The food was worth the wait, because it was super hot and fresh, and the burger was delicious. The patties were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bacon was crispy, and the egg was cooked just like I wanted (over hard). It was a little greasy but I enjoy a greasy burger every once in awhile. I had a bite of the Brushy Mountain, which was also very good. The chicken was a little small but the flavors were great and the chicken wasn't overcooked. I'm so happy to have checked this place off my list, and will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. If you like a juicy burger, you have to visit this place!

The online ordering wasn't working the night we were there, so I sent Nate outside to order for us. They give you a beeper so you know when to go back outside to pick up your food - helpful for the snowy November night! The menu consists of smash burgers, an Impossible burger, fries, pretzel bites, and chicken nuggets. I got a double Original Lost Art, and Nate got the Frankenstein, which is a double burger with one beef patty and a ground kielbasa patty. We also got a side of fries to share. Our food was done pretty quickly and the burgers were big! I liked that they wrap them up a bit so it's easier to eat. Mine was pretty messy and the buns did end up sliding all over, so be sure to get some extra napkins. The patties were thin, seasoned well, and super tasty. I absolutely loved the fries. They were super hot and fresh, with lots of salt. The star for me was the Frankenstein burger, though. The addition of the ground kielbasa patty is just next-level. If you like sausage, you have to try this. Super delicious and I hope to see Lost Art Burger around town more often, otherwise I'll be back to Lost Art Brewhouse for more tasty food soon.

The restaurant had pescatarian friendly options and some vegan options as well even. I will say that the appetizers were underwhelming and I fear I did not take a picture. We got a three way sampler plate of pretzel bites, mozzarella sticks and onion rings for my group. I think I honestly misunderstood the portion sides so that's on me. The appetizers were on the same plate, were very small (I recall three mozzarella sticks for my party of four) and they frankly tasted mid sadly. I got the Grilled Salmon with the Chili rub and my boyfriend got the Crab Rangoon Flatbread (does not come with fries, despite fries in the photo). I enjoyed the Grilled Salmon and everything else in the plate besides the green beans unfortunately. The flatbread was delightful too! I didn't, mostly because there is a sign that says, "This is a sidewalk" which made me laugh. (Truly that should be an entrance into the parking lot!) The space is very bright and airy with cute decor and space to get some work or studying done. I was greeted right away when I walked in and I had a tough time deciding what to order. I wasn't hungry, but I love that they have a full on food menu - including salads, burgers(!!!), bagels, toasts, paninis, pastries, etc. Plus all the regular coffee items, boba, smoothies, and teas. I went with one of the seasonal specials, the banana bread matcha. It didn't take too long to come out and it was very tasty - not really what I was expecting, but I liked it. It reminded me of a very green banana (which is how I prefer bananas), it wasn't super sweet but also not super matcha-y.
