They looked like apple slices and were sort of wet and soggy like them too. In regards to Angela S. review I was there in the restaurant sitting behind her.... Boy let me tell how rude this lady was to the staff. This customer raised her voice and bragged about how good of a tipper she was, but she wasn't leaving a tip for anyone today. She claimed her food was horrible after eating a healthy portion of it. My food was delicious by the way, and I could see that the restaurant was short staffed and trying their hardest to make everyone's day enjoyable. I have had many great meals there, and it seems like there are a few bad apples that throw a review online to get attention. Aunt Belle's Kitchen has donated or heavily discounted many meals to Veterans and First Responders, they are a great bunch of people and it is disheartening when the few bad reviews drag down a small business. If she had a problem with the Owner in the Antique Mall then she should have spoken to them. The manager handled the situation well in the restaurant, and I will be back to enjoy more food and browse through the attached antique mall. read more
