The parking lot in front is pretty small, and there is only one access point, so if you go past it, you'll have to turn around near the apartments behind it. Don't drive on the sidewalk... I didn't, mostly because there is a sign that says, "This is a sidewalk" which made me laugh. (Truly that should be an entrance into the parking lot!) The space is very bright and airy with cute decor and space to get some work or studying done. I was greeted right away when I walked in and I had a tough time deciding what to order. I wasn't hungry, but I love that they have a full on food menu - including salads, burgers(!!!), bagels, toasts, paninis, pastries, etc. Plus all the regular coffee items, boba, smoothies, and teas. I went with one of the seasonal specials, the banana bread matcha. It didn't take too long to come out and it was very tasty - not really what I was expecting, but I liked it. It reminded me of a very green banana (which is how I prefer bananas), it wasn't super sweet but also not super matcha-y. They are expanding their space, so I am interested in coming back to see what that looks like and to order more delicious drinks and try the food!

We appreciated the kid friendly array of games and etch-a-sketch for entertainment. The menu is fun, but you need to search for prices. We ordered fries, a plain smashburger, a panini, and two sodas for around $31. Tipping is optional and the space is bright, playing dream pop tunes and filled with young 20 somethings. The food was good enough. My panini was well grilled, but the tomatoes would have been next level had they been marinated in balsamic vinegar. Winter is tough to find tasty tomatoes so I don't fault them on it... however the tomatoes were the let down of the Turkey PT 3 panini. The smashburger was sufficient. My husband said it tasted on par with Burger King (not sure if that's a compliment or a diss because we love BK). He was disappointed with the fries because earlier pictures portrayed them as hand cut and these were definitely from frozen. Either way, we cleaned our plates. If we come back, I'd be curious to try their breakfast. The açaí bowls look delicious along with the lox bagel and Seoul sunrise. They also have boba drinks, smoothies, coffees, and teas. Glad to have something with chill vibes in the neighborhood, but I definitely feel like the oldest person in the establishment. perhaps I contributed to the aging hipster vibe. Was in need of some more coffee and happened upon The Coffee Crew GR through the Too Good to Go…read moreapp. Snagged two bags of coffee for a GREAT deal, and learned something new! The Coffee Crew GR is a small batch coffee company in Comstock Park that employs adults with disabilities, and it's woman owned! Two things that you don't see very often, which is amazing in and of itself. Not only do they roast their own coffee (which is delicious, by the way), they also bake pastries in house! Their mini apple pies were delicious; my kids and my dad wolfed them right down. Per the flyer I grabbed on my way out: "We are owned and operated by a group of special needs young adults, as a for-profit effort to demonstrate the capabilities of these workers." Wholly agreed, and everyone should go and support if you ever pass by!

No sugar free sweetener of any kind. They filled the water all the way to the top so I had to drink some of it to get the lid on and they only have the wide mouth drink lids. No straws. I asked for a larger cup because I had to carry it on my bike. They don't have any. Just small cups. I get it if the owner doesn't like sugar free sweetener. But making that decision for the customer is very pretentious.

It's a certified B corp which means all their ingredients are sustainably and ethically sourced! That's a big plus! The place is so nicely designed with so many places to sit. Big beautiful windows let in lots of sun and natural light. I love sitting outside in the summer taking in the energy of downtown. You can tell this place really puts a lot of effort into caring and supporting their local community! This is the ideal local coffee shop. Although I've never been, they also have a location in downtown Muskegon!

I've been going since late 2022/early 2023, back when they were just a vintage shop (with a cute cat) at their old spot further down Division. I first came across them at a market and bought a shirt (still probably my favorite shirt in my collection) but at the time they were pretty under the radar, so I forgot the name. Almost a year later, an old friend complimented that same shirt, which led to me telling the whole story. I was like, "all I remember is they sold spoon rings," and said friend immediately goes, "sounds like Otono on Division." Ofc I went there that weekend, and sure enough, that was them. Been a fan ever since. At this point, a good chunk of my wardrobe is from them. It's been really cool seeing how much they've grown and evolved, especially with the addition of the café. I think it's such a hit and fits their vibe perfectly. The owners are also super personable and the staff are always kind. I added a few pics from past visits, but I definitely recommend checking them out. And if you get lucky, they sometimes have cookies and other treats from Cou Cou Bakehouse when there are leftovers from her pop-ups!
