More like a art gallery that serve drinks and coffee than a cafe. Very minimalistic. I don't like it. Drinks are good. They still serve pastries from local Nantucket bakery. To me, the place looks weird, looks unfinished and seating is not comfortable

New location alert! Morning Ritual has moved from the west side to the heart of downtown, at the…read morecorner of Lyon & Ionia. The new space is way bigger and brighter, with lots of natural light and space to hang out, get some work done, and enjoy a unique beverage + vegan breakfast sandwich! They also have a lot of fun art everywhere, as well as plenty of cute and irreverent items for sale. Loved the Snoopy stuff! Nate and I stopped in recently to get something from their summer menu - I tried the reaper: vegan caramel syrup, cream soda, espresso, and oat milk marshmallow vanilla cold foam. Nate ordered the sacred heart: lemon syrup, tonic, matcha, oatmilk marshmallow vanilla cold foam, with a dried lemon garnish. Phew! They were both very tasty, smooth and not too sweet. I always enjoy the opportunity to try something unique, and Morning Ritual has always provided that. Also, major points for taking our names for our drinks! Hearing "oat milk latte" and then seeing someone else take your drink is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to coffee shops. It's such a small thing that can make such a big difference and yes I will continue to write about this in every coffee shop review ever, lol. It looks like the space will serve as a music venue, and their sign also mentioned a photobooth, which wasn't there when we visited, so I'm excited to see what they will offer to the community as they continue to bloom in this new location. Parking: metered street parking is available nearby, be prepared to walk a bit!

YUM. This was my first mochinut experience and I wasn't sure what to expect. They were super good,…read morebut not exactly what I thought I'd be experiencing. These donuts were soooooo chewy and delicious and the flavors are expansive. I was going to order 2, but the box fits 3, and he talked me into it. I asked for a recommendation on the most popular flavor, but all of them looked so good, and the three that I chose were delicious. Hail to the double chocolate one!! I cannot wait to go back and try more flavors. The business was clean and bright, but there were only two other people inside. There is plenty of room for quite a few people to sit. I didn't opt to get any other food or drink, but the items that the people ahead of me ordered looked delicious. The service was over-the-top good. The guy was very helpful and friendly (and patient with my poor decision-making skills). He also tried talking me into other items, but I didn't have the room. I'm sure I will find time to go back for a corn dog, ramen, or boba. They also have a section where they sell snacks and packaged food.

I ordered the waffle and…read morewas genuinely surprised when shredded cheese was sprinkled on top before my name was called. It was a Saturday around 8:30-8:45 a.m., and the place was so busy that sending it back didn't feel worth it, so I went with it. It turned out to be their breakfast "sandwich," just made with a waffle instead of bread, featuring eggs, onions, tomatoes, and bacon. Since I don't eat bacon, that was the only element I didn't care for, but otherwise it was a very good meal. I also ordered the café miel, which was excellent. I'd definitely come back for the waffle (just without bacon next time!)

The place was pretty busy but we managed to get a table. We weren't near any outlets but I did see a few scattered along the walls. The vibe is pretty cozy with mismatched chairs and what look like church pews. I ordered a flat white with oat milk and Nate got a pour over. The prices were pretty cheap, lower than most coffee shops in the area (only $5 for a latte) which was nice. They also took my name for my drink which I loved! They also have a small food menu with bagels and spreads and sandwiches. I do wish they had some more fun seasonal options for coffee drinks, the menu is pretty basic. Some other cool features of this coffee shop include gender neutral restrooms with vacant/occupied locks (love those) and a wireless printer. It was pretty loud while we were there, but I have noise canceling headphones which helped. Definitely a busy spot, so if you need an outlet I'd recommend getting there early. I liked this coffee shop but I think I'd pick Ferris over it (which is next door). Still, if I'm in the area again I might stop by.
