The Coffee Crew GR is a small batch coffee company in Comstock Park that employs adults with disabilities, and it's woman owned! Two things that you don't see very often, which is amazing in and of itself. Not only do they roast their own coffee (which is delicious, by the way), they also bake pastries in house! Their mini apple pies were delicious; my kids and my dad wolfed them right down. Per the flyer I grabbed on my way out: "We are owned and operated by a group of special needs young adults, as a for-profit effort to demonstrate the capabilities of these workers." Wholly agreed, and everyone should go and support if you ever pass by!

Things are tough right now, so I appreciated him putting that positive energy out there. Coffee was typical, consistent Starbucks quality. Was way quicker to go in, by the way. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, possibly the best drip coffee I've ever had (and I have had some really good coffee!) and I'm told by my wife that the chai was absolutely delightful. A small menu of drinks and treats may make this spot slip off of your radar - but you would be missing out on a magical little place that, as the name implies, truly has heart... and plenty of it.

I asked for a recommendation on the most popular flavor, but all of them looked so good, and the three that I chose were delicious. Hail to the double chocolate one!! I cannot wait to go back and try more flavors. The business was clean and bright, but there were only two other people inside. There is plenty of room for quite a few people to sit. I didn't opt to get any other food or drink, but the items that the people ahead of me ordered looked delicious. The service was over-the-top good. The guy was very helpful and friendly (and patient with my poor decision-making skills). He also tried talking me into other items, but I didn't have the room. I'm sure I will find time to go back for a corn dog, ramen, or boba. They also have a section where they sell snacks and packaged food.
