My friends and I recently rented out the private room here for a small get together and it was pretty nice! I believe there was a room fee and there was also a $250 spend minimum. We had 10+ people so it was definitely not a worry to hit that minimum. It was ready for us when we got there at 5 & we had the room booked for 5-7! We had 2 babies in our group too so it was nice to have the separate room where it was a bit quieter and didn't scare the kids at all. Everyone was having a hard time choosing what to eat because everything on the menu sounded so good. They have Pepsi products so I had a Pepsi and ordered the bbq brisket Mac and cheese. It was pretty good. The portion size was huge and it was more than enough for 2 meals so I definitely took half home. The leftovers weren't as good at home. The server was very nice. Very quick and checked on us the right amount of times. I would like to come back here for the normal dining experience :) read more

My friends and I went to trivia at Gravity recently and had a great time. They hosted trivia in the back part of the restaurant near the patio, which was a good space for the group. Monday is all day happy hour! I hadn't eaten at Gravity in a while so I was looking forward to trying some of their menu. We all shared one of the St. Patrick's Day features, the Irish egg rolls. These were tasty but I wished they were a bit cheesier. It was a good portion for the four of us to share as an appetizer. I had studied the menu extensively but I was so hungry it was hard to decide. I ended up ordering the steak frites and a side of Brussels sprouts. Nate got a side Caesar salad with chicken, and my friend got the smash burger with sweet potato fries. Our food was presented really nicely and everything looked great. I loved the Brussels sprouts - they were very similar to others I've had elsewhere and enjoyed. Not too mushy, with good flavor. The steak was a 12 oz. New York strip, which is not always my favorite cut. It needed some extra salt and it was slightly overcooked. The fries were crispy and the tater tots are big and chunky. I thought it was funny that this dish came with both, but I wasn't mad. Overall it was a good meal, but I would choose something else in the future. I saw someone at the table next to us order the salmon bowl and that looked very good. Our server was really great and kept up with the section well. My workplace is very close to Gravity, so I've been here dozens of times! I love the black interior and lighting... it's a great spot for a corporate lunch, happy hour, or brunch. We all love the white truffle tots, redwater salad, pizzas, & pad thai. They have a lot of great appetizers, definitely don't skip them! We came here for the first time eight years ago because it is right next to our favorite hotel in town, the Country Inn. It is such a good idea, and so convenient to have a good restaurant in the same parking lot as a hotel. The first time we came here it was after a long day at the gardens, and we wanted a quality place to eat in Beer City where we did not need to drive. We got a couple beer flights, and they were really good. We got all sorts of food as well. This time, we came from the Christmas market. Although we ordered several items we did not eat enough for a meal. We went back to the hotel for a swim and the family needed a late night dinner, since we basically had lunch at the market. This was a perfect place we could get to easily. We got the hot honey chicken pizza. It was delicious. The chicken was crispy. The honey had a little zing, but not too much for those in the family who do not like a lot of spice. We carried out this time and ate at the hotel. This is a perfect place to eat or carryout. Great location right off the highway by the Park & Ride and down the street from Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Met up with girlfriends for a holiday book exchange before heading to Enlighten at the gardens. I love all the fun names for the specialty cocktails. There are a few zero proof cocktail options. I had the Pear Pressure: pear nectar, lime, simple syrup, ginger beer, lime wedge. It wasn't memorable, didn't taste the pear (vs just ginger beer), but much better than only having soda, tea, lemonade, or sod water as options. The Loaded Tots were a hit at the table and looked fabulous! Coming off of Thanksgiving, I enjoyed them vicariously through my friends. I loved the Buddha Bowl! The blackened shrimp was cooked well and not overdone (different protein options for an additional price). The bowl was large so I took most of it home and it was as delicious the next day. Came in for lunch on Sunday 10/27/24 around 2:30pm. It wasn't crowded, but the bar was full. We sat at a tall table behind the bar stools. Our server didn't provide her name and she wasn't wearing a name tag, but she was attentive and friendly! We decided to split the Smash Burger and the Taco Pizza. Our server asked if we wanted one of the entrees first - what a great question! We went with the burger first. The burger was on an onion roll which we both really liked. It was juicy and so tasty with the grilled onions! We both really liked it. The fries were HOT and had a crispy coating on them. That Taco Pizza though!! OMG, it was so dang good! We kept saying that over and over! It had a little kick of spiciness from the meat and the chorizo oiled crust. The combination of the light and crisp crust with the layer of refried beans and the spicy meat was absolute magic. Im going to be craving this one again for sure. It was the best taco pizza I've ever had - I liked that it didn't have lettuce on it. Mr says it's tied for first with a place that is no longer in business - so does it still count? Service was very good nice place but the food needs some serious work. The ultimate burger was disappointing. It comes in a concealed mess of inedible cheese. Why would you do that. It made the bread soggy and unappealing. It's just a bad presentation. My wife had the pad Thai with brisket. It was greasy and soggy. No flavor and just disappointing. The boys split the BBQ platter. The brisket is the not good. I tried it and honestly need to spit it out. I seriously don't understand how any restaurant could serve this. The sausage was excellent. Fries were good. For desert I tried the tiramisu. Not sure what they think tiramisu is but this wasn't it. It had little flavor and the cocoa powder on top served no purpose other than to make you cough. You need some work. read more

I really loved the brisket sandwich, served on Texas toast with BBQ sauce and coleslaw served right on it. It was melt-in-your-mouth brisket and my husband enjoyed his Italian deli sandwich. Our male server was a pleasure--he checked on us, served us promptly, and was quite frienclly. The hostess make us feel very welcomed and I would return there in a heartbeat! I can hear for dinner Saturday for my birthday and atmosphere and overall vibes were fantastic, but that's mostly where it goes downhill. I thought my black and blue pizza and food was delicious and they do have an excellent drink selection. But I can't kid you when I say we regularly went twenty to thirty minutes before seeing our waitress every time and pretty much everyone else at my table was underwhelmed with their food. We are staying locally for a family trip and have two nights this week and our 5yo son describes the kids pizza as "delicious " (and he's not a bit pizza fan!!). Husband enjoyed the chicken wings and ceasar salad and enjoyed these. I tried the beef tacos (a bit too spicy for me, but so flavourful) and then the shrimp pad tai- I asked for less spice and it was delicious. The service was great- seated quickly and orders taken promptly, and drinks/ food arrived quickly. Even though they were busy and had a few bigger parties. We also want to add that Lizzie at the front desk went OVER and beyond with how she interacted with our 5yo. She spoke to him so politely and gave him a personalised cup especially for his stuffy- and then the same the second night. Sounds silly, but it was really a big gesture for our son and stuck with him as part of his memories from this trip. As someone whose worked in customer service the bad experiences are easy to write about, but the great ones, need the time putting in, and given how far Lizzie went for our son, it needed a mention. We booked a private room for nine people for our Book Club Christmas Party, and we were delighted with the space, the service, and the food. Our waiter, Austin, was friendly and accommodating. When the room was too cold, he turned up the heat; when the food was too spicy, he made suggestions on how to put the spiciest ingredients on the side. Wed. 11/26/25, the day before Thanksgiving. Our family group of 16 spent the Thanksgiving weekend at the Country Inn, across the parking lot from Gravity. GTG was the easy choice for our first dinner together. We were warmly greeted by the Gravity staff, then seated in a private dining room. The side room was ideal since we had 7 small children with us. The service was terrific, especially the managing of the children. Kids meals were on the table pronto. Everyone loved their dinners which included brisket, mac & cheese, tacos and many other selections. One son-in-law remarked that the meatloaf was the best he had ever had. The concept and service was great, but the food fell short. My family dined here for lunch on a November Friday. We each ordered tasters of local beer. I ordered two sours. One was excellent and one tasted like ketchup. The pub dip sandwich was decent, but the cheese whiz on it made the sandwich. The Mac and cheese was very plain. Why is it a large group suffers because the server has other tables to care for on top of our 18 group. I asker her if she was the only one working our table and she said yes. No team work helping. And i dont thinkshe wanted it. We waited way too long just to get started, drinks were really slow even though only a couple of us had drinks from the bar. The tabs were just as slow. The food was good, but sucky service. We recently went to a chinse restaurant (not a buffet) and they had team work and they are very efficient in every way. The 3 stars is strictly from the mistakes on the check. We met friends for dinner and decided to go early to have a happy hour beer. We then drank Modello as it was $3 off on Tuesdays. The server brought checks and had to go back and correct them 3 times (before we even saw them he saw mistakes) by the end the first drinks were not at happy hour price and the Modellos and Tacos (both Tuesday specials) were charged at full price as well. It was pretty busy and the weather had turned so we just paid and wanted to beat the traffic out. Seems like the specials should automatically be in the POS system ? It's been a year since our last visit and we're even more impressed this time than last year. We tend to stop here for lunch on our way home from Holland back to the Ann Arbor area. The parking lot is large so we can fit our RV and truck out back. The space is dark and cool in the summer. Lunch is fairly slow but the kitchen is still hot. We started with the beer cheese appetizer that came out hot and fresh. My husband had the gravity burger. It looked so good I had to try a bite. SO delicious! I am not a burger fan but this one I would order. Light bun, crispy sweet and savoy bacon really set off the flavor. I had a salad with salmon that was just right. Nothing remarkable, just done well. The prices were reasonable, service was fine. We will make this a regular stop when passing through, for sure. read more
