Got the suki nam, which was warming and a nice cozy meal, and caught up with friends. Lots of options for any mood or craving here and i liked how much variety was in my pot

Came a little on the close side to closing time, but they were really nice and let us dine-in. Staff was all very welcoming and friendly. Located in Cap Hill, we were able to find street parking on the side. Ambiance of the restaurant is pretty casual. Food: + We got the split pot hot pot with tom kha (my favorite) and beef broth. + To accompany the hot pot we got the morfire veggie mix, pork loin and beef round, we felt that everything tasted fresh and was reasonably priced! + I got their non-alcoholic lychee and soda. The flavor was good but it was on the almost too sweet side for me to finish. Overall, a great spot with flavorful broths! Definitely would come back again!

A great place for a hearty meal with friends, especially in the wintertime! I came with 2 friends and ordered a split pot of half Tom-Yum and half Beef (5-Spice). We ordered an assortment of veggies, meat, tofu, and noodles to put in our shared pot and everything was tasty. The broths were very flavorful, I personally favored the Beef broth over the Tom-Yum but both were solid choices. We also ordered fried spring rolls to share, they were pretty standard but a good starter to the meal. Once we split the bill at the end, it only came to about $23 per person which is amazing for dinner in Seattle. Service was fast and friendly, they checked in on us often and did a good job at explaining the menu and refilling our waters. I would come back for sure!

I love Morfire! Thai style hot pot. So many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Staff is really nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. Fun atmosphere inside. Good for solo or groups, call ahead for table reservations. Love coming here.

This was my first time trying Thai hot pot, and it was absolutely delicious! Portion size was perfect for one hungry person, with really good cuts of meat, really fresh veggies, and a perfect Tom Yum broth. I'm definitely looking forward to trying a few other broths in the future. Restaurant was not crowded at all and I got seated as soon as I got there. Staff was also super friendly. Overall I highly recommend and I will be going back to try more!

went here at around 8 on a Wednesday and it was pretty busy with a few tables empty but it was mainly full. We were seated instantly. The spot is really cute and the service is super nice and friendly. We ended up getting 1 hot pot and 2 drinks and I think our total for both of us was about 55. I thought it was pretty fair for what we got. Overall the hot pot was really good, I thought the flavor was a little milder than I expect of Tom yum but I think it makes sense for a hot pot base to let the toppings shine. I do wish it had more of a lemongrass flavor. The lychee soda was really good, the maroon maroon cocktail was just alright to me. We expected it to be sweeter and taste more of blood orange but didn't really taste much.

Morfire has great service and the staff was really friendly checking in on us. The restaurant is cozy and has all you need set up on the table. The menu is easy to navigate and all you have to do is mark on the paper menu what you would like to order. Suki nam Tom yum: loved that this individual hot pot had a variety of ingredients and glass noodles soaking in the broth. For tom yum, I think the broth was a little light in flavor and wished there was more spice or sourness to it. Definitely used some of the dips on the table for the meats. Suki hang: our favorite dish of the night. Very flavorful and came out hot! We got this with chicken and it was very tender and also great with some of the sauces

Food - the hot pot here was really quite reasonably priced and had a good selection and quality. They also had about 8 different broth bases to choose from with at least 3 vegetarian options! They also had vegan and gluten free options too. I appreciated the MF Combo with a bunch of veggie and noodles for $10 and the split pot option to get two different broths. We also had the quail egg wontons, which were awesome! The drinks were decently unique, but I think more aesthetically pleasing than particularly flavorful, so they were fine. The mini flan and the boba tea were excellent. I would come back just to try the flan (life changing) if I wasn't already sold on the hot pot and small plates. Service - they were super friendly and attentive. The bartender seemed to know quite a few people that came in and would chat with folks. He checked in regularly with us too. Ambiance - it's super busy and you probably need a res (by phone only) if you come at 5 or after. We did not but got lucky coming in early and grabbing a seat at the bar. The music was nice and the decor and set up were cozy and fun. I would definitely bring friends or family here, but also a cute date night option too. We will totally come back here again!

LOVE this place so much! It's in Capitol Hill so parking is not the easiest. We were able to park in a lot that wasn't too far from the restaurant. This is a small establishment and they have a website with a well versed menu. They HIGHLY recommend reservations due to limited few seating. Ricky was friendly on the phone. They have to take your name, best phone number to reach at and a credit card #. The credit card is taken in case you do not show up. If you don't show up, they will automatically charge $25 per person. Better to call and let them know you will be late etc. When we had arrived, they had my name on chalk for our table :) Ambiance is nice! They have a bar and bar seating too. Morfire means "hot pot" in Thai -- at least that is what our waitress/host said. They had these quail egg wontons that were super delicious! I love quail eggs. I would love to try their family hot pot style next time but I got an individual hot pot. It was the herby one -- which they said they won't be continuing bc it's not as popular. I honestly LOVED the broth bc it was tamarind with a kick and reminded me of my moms dish, Sinigang. It was an herby kind of hot pot, pork and beef, with greens! My boyfriend had a noodle dish that had a bit of a curry flavor to it. Their sauces are amazing! They have it on your table along with ponzu sauce. Highly recommend the sesame and Morfire sauce! Our waitress and host was super friendly! I brought my Polaroid camera and she took a picture of us

Last night I had an amazing time at Morfire with a group of friends. A group of 6 of us split a number of appetizers before diving into the hotpot. I wouldn't have ordered quail egg wontons myself but I'm glad somebody did because they were absolutely delicious. I also was eyeing the son-in-law egg which read sort of like a scotch egg with a Thai twist, and that must be one of my top 3 egg-eating experiences ever. I was also still battling a mild cold and missed out on the cocktails but the waitstaff were sweet and attentive with my request for plain hot water. As for the hotpot, I couldn't have imagined how Tom Kha with its coconut milk became my favorite soup base but I ended up dipping most of my veggies and meat into that side; the other half, beef five spice, I considered a perfect dipping broth for the veggies to add just an extra touch of umami. Since we ate everything family style amongst 2 split pots, I got to sample an impressive variety of meats and veggies but amongst my favorite were the belly-wrapped enoki, beef round, scallops, squid, bok choy, and cabbage. We also really enjoyed getting to try the tamarind sauce which doesn't come with traditional Chinese and Japanese hotpot. Our waitstaff were attentive with helping take dishes away to make more room on the table, and great with small talk as they served us. I would definitely come back again with friends both local and out of town - this is a perfect cozy and tasty group meal spot!

Morfire is a solid spot! I especially love that they source their meats locally. The flavors were not as strong as we'd hoped though. Not the most authentic dishes but also nothing to complain about. Service was attentive, place kept clean.

Came here with some friends for dinner. We ordered the split broths with Beef on one side and Tom Kha on the other. For the proteins we ordered Beef Chuck Slices ($8), Prawns ($6), Squid ($6), Fishballs ($5), and Tofu Puffs ($4). For our veggies we ordered the King Trumpet Mushrooms and the Morfire Mix ($10), which contains carrots, cauliflower, shiitake, cabbage, glass noodles, bok choy, brown beech mushroom, napa cabbage, and chrysanthemum. Out of the sauces that they had, I liked the Morfire house sauce the best. It had this balance of sweet and spiciness to it. Both of the broths were delicious in their own ways. The beef was very flavorful and had this earthy taste to it. The tom kha was more creamy. What we got for the 4 of us was the perfect amount to split. We were left feeling full after eating everything that we had. I also ordered the Lavender Lemonade Mojito ($9), which is basically a butterfly pea cocktail with that purple ombre effect. It's really pretty and tasted great and refreshing. It basically tasted like a hard lemonade. What I thought was unfair was that we were given way less beef broth than the tom kha soup, so we were stuck asking for a refill on that for $1 more later on to even it out. Even from my photos you can see that the beef broth was significantly less than the tom kha. The soups should have been given at the same levels to start out with and I felt like we were shorted from that. Aside from that, the service was great. They brought out everything that we requested promptly and made sure that everything was to our liking. I feel like this would be a great place to stop by at on a cold winter evening in Seattle.

Check out this small but lovely place that will warm your belly. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was exactly what I wanted. My daughter gave her soup a ten out of ten. She couldn't stop smiling. On a cold winter day the steamy tables were so inviting. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
