Pricey, but decent. I enjoyed the bulgogi and yakisoba. The portions are filling but probably not worth $21 (large, after tax and tip). I thought the concept was really cute though! There's plenty of indoor seating available.

Reasonably priced, cool concept, but was just good. Food was good - the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was too salty and saucy, the meatballs were good, steamed egg was bland, and dumplings were good. Print your receipt - Went to Bentoful for lunch and ordered through the kiosk. After paying I selected the 'no receipt' option. When my food was ready, I walked up and was told to show my receipt, which I said I didn't print. I was scolded about how were they supposed to know it was mine. I eventually was given my food, but they shouldn't have no receipt as an option if it's required to grab your order.

Cute place to grab lunch - there's small and large bento options. I like that you can grab 1/2 portions of the vase so I got half salad and half kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice only had kimchi in it. I wish there was also egg, so it felt more like rice with kimchi/gochujang. The fried chicken pieces are big and come with sauce on the side. The sides were a bit underwhelming. I chose dumpling, egg, and broccoli salad. I like the options in general and the packaging was good for traveling back to your office. It was a bit pricy for the portion.

Great spot for takeout or lunch! They have a couple tables to eat if youre dining alone but not much space otherwise. You can take a look at the food and then order at the kiosk. The workers there were very nice and helped sort me out. The large size comes with 3 pill shaped togo boxes and the smaller size only two. You pick a base (I chose half rice half kale), a main dish (spicy chicken) and three sides (meatballs, spring roll, and brocolli) The kale came with some sort of pesto on the side as a dressing and it was very good. The meatballs were italian-esque and the spring rolls had something starchy perhaps potato inside. Overall I barely finished all of it and felt full AND healthy so def great fix.

I really enjoyed this place for lunch. I loved the variety and options. For bases, you can do grains or salads and have a main dish with it as well as 3 sides! It really allows for a well balanced meal. I tried the brown rice and power greens with sesame dressing with chicken teriyaki/teriyaki chicken. Also tried the chicken yellow curry. For sides I got the soy braised egg, fresh fruit, and chicken wings. It was all very delicious and I would definitely come back here. They have plenty of seating options around the building as well. Staff was very attentive and friendly to answering any questions.

I am surprised that this place gets such good reviews. Went in for lunch and was really excited to try this place out but the experience I got was pretty disappointing. I never seen this much of oil in Fried rice and also the main chicken dish had undercooked potatoes and smelly chicken. Portion of kimchi was super small as well. For 16 dollars, I think quality of food could be much better

Came by for lunch and it was amazing! The restaurant is located in the Amazon Amelia building but has an outdoor entrance along Fairview Ave. Ordering is done on a tablet near the entrance. They have lots of different options for creating your bento including what main & side dishes as well as condiment choices and other customizations. Beautifully packaged and easy to take on the go or you can dine in. The restaurant has fairly limited hours but you can eat in the seating area of the Amazon building anytime. Bulgogi was excellent, very tender and flavorful, kimchi fried rice had great flavor and the eggplant, spring rolls, and kimchi were all very tasty and rounded out the meal nicely. One of the sauces they had as an option was a lemongrass sriracha which I hadnt heard of before but this went perfectly with the bulgogi giving it a more punchy flavor. Portion size looks small in the little containers but its actually a lot of food. Staff was super friendly they even came by and asked if i'd like to sample a piece of their fried chicken. (This was also excellent) All in all amazing experience and I will definitely be back next time I am having lunch in the area. Highly recommend!

Their food just hits so close to home! SLU barely has any korean food so not only am i happy about this place but even more so because the food is very tasty. Ordering is super easy, you can order online or in person via a kiosk (covid friendly because it minimizes your contact with anyone) and you just pick up to two carbs, three side dishes and one main protein. The variety of options they have is simply amazing and the portion is very generous. The last time i got bentoful, i got half white rice& yakisoba, soy marinated egg, avocado salad, stir fried eggplants and korean fried chicken as my main. It was so much food and the leftovers ended up becoming my dinner. The only thing i wish i could change is that they close just after lunch time. Id love to be able to eat bentoful for dinner too!

Teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, spring rolls, dumplings, broccoli salad

Stopped in about 30 minutes before they closed on a week day and ordered Teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, spring rolls, dumplings, and broccoli salad. The employee advised us that they were out of a few items at this time. The yakisoba noodles were really good, as were the spring rolls and dumplings. However, the teriyaki chicken had a really tough texture and was hard in some spots. I ended up not eating much of the chicken. I was surprised to see how large the portions were for the price and I ended up with lots of leftovers. It was an okay meal, but nothing special. Also-- fyi, they're only open 3 hours a day, so check their hours before you go.

Packaging feels a little bit wasteful but I believe it's compostable.

While visiting Seattle for the week, my girlfriend and I worked out of Wework and wanted something quick and easy to eat. We found Bentoful a few blocks away so we gave it a try. The location appears to be very new but we were pleased to see the staff was both well prepared and appeared to take great care in making sure their food is clean and safe. You start by customizing your bento (base, meats, sides) on slips of paper, similar to a lot of poke places. I ordered mine with: Base - Brown rice and greens Meat - Chicken Teriyaki Sides - Seaweed Salad, Dumplings, Eggplant The total came out to $13. I immediately realized I should've taken a closer look at the counter before making my order as some of the sides like the yakisoba and fried rice looked much better than my basic base order! The bulgogi also looked great for an extra $1. The food was all pretty good. In particular, the sides were very flavorful and IMO the highlight. All in all, a great place to grab a bite for tech company lunch prices.

This place hits the spot for my Korean food craving. You fill out your card and pick Rice or noodles, your meat and 3 sides. This is a hefty amount of food and I was stuffed after this meal (I couldn't work for the afternoon!!). I paid extra for the beef bulgogi which was 1.50. The meal with no subs is 12.99 which is a great price for the quality and the amount of food you get. This will definitely be one of my go to lunch spots in SLU!

I looked up Paju before in South Lake Union nearby my hotel, and was excited to try it. Ended up finding a partner in crime anyway, and headed over close to closing time. Place is dark and modern, although I appreciate the wood oven being front and center. Owner was a little awkward given the timing, however she warmed up to us pretty quick when she said she was going to be in/out as we promised, and did appreciate the food itself. Got the sesame negroni, which was a unique and untraditional way to approach this cocktail. The sesame made it very different, and it remained as strong as I liked. The bugak (almost like a Korean taco with oxtail) was awesome. They were kind of just 2 bites of food each, however what was there exploded with flavor. I could've eaten 5 of these. NY strip was just ok. Didn't get any dry aged flavor from it at all. Not enough seasoning either. Bachan with it--brussel sprouts, kimchi--were tasty though, and the Paju fried rice was awesome. I wish they could put some beef/fish with that and call it a day. One of my favorite fried rice preparation I've had, but hey, I'm a sucker for squid ink. Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Seattle. Next time would sub the steak for the seafood jeon or branzino, however really nice meal otherwise. Compared favorably to other elevated Asian cuisine I've had (Joule in Seattle, Goosefeather in Tarrytown NY, Danji in NYC).

We were greeted warmly by our host, Steven, and seated earlier than our reservation. He and his colleagues was attentive and hospitable through the meal. The steak tartare was excellent with the sweetness of Asian pear paired with the earthiness of beef. The black cod sauce was addicting and balanced between sweet and savory, and the cod was flaky. The hanger steak ssam was blended at the table and had great richness and body with the beef. The sharpness from the cod sauce helped even out the buttery rice. The ginger crème brûlée was unique. The crème delivered the ginger in a bold, but not overpowering way. The caramel sauce and ice cream cooperated with all the flavor. Not too sweet It has been a long time since experiencing an "elevated" Asian meal as corny as it sounds. If you're into internet memes, then the charge is having a succulent Korean meal. Possible improvements: standard size plates instead of tapas style small plates (though I understand heir intent was for family style sharing). Additional table linen or plates to place your utensils because a small plate can't hold a fork, spoon, and chopsticks while you take portions from the main dishes. Conjoined to the paramount hotel, not sure what the parking situation is like since we arrived via light rail. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.
