I started getting hard gel/builder gel on my nails a couple of years ago because my nails are pretty weak and break whenever they grew. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's no one I trust more than Helen, Tony, and the group there at Moon Nails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually go on my days off/weekdays and I've hardly ever had to wait. They're all very kind and do a great job. Reasonably priced as well! The shop is pretty chill with calming music and a couple of TVs

I've been here only a few times but i've had great experiences every time. They have been able to get me in the same day and all of the nail techs do a very good job. This picture doesn't do the color or the chrome justice, but these were my Easter nails and I received soo many compliments on them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I forgot my techs nail but she was so sweet and I will be going back to her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The entire place was bright and clean and not hectic, so you are able to relax. Will be back.

What a gem of a place this is! January of 2025, I was on a hunt for a new salon, due to my old salon closing :(. I was so disheartened after trying several places, and Just being disappointed. I was looking for a Nail salon that was CLEAN, EXPERIENCED, carried a up to date POLISH SELECTION, and could execute NAIL DESIGNS. Let me tell you, THIS SALON IS IT! HELEN is amazing. She is a true artist, who is highly capable of fulfilling all of your nail design needs. The salon is clean, and comfortable. During my past visits, all staff have been kind, and attentive. They even go as far, as offering a complimentary water. I am a picky person, but I can honestly say, I have truly enjoyed every set/ fill service... and it hasn't been a well let's just see, and "trust the process". I could tell she was doing things right, just from the technique of how she was shaping the nail alone. ( also, her nails are always done, and cute, so that was reassuring in itself) They have all the up to date Nail Colors, including chrome, and cat eye. They also have Gel X , hard gel, and gems, to keep up with the trends. The work here is always consistent! I am very happy to have found this place. I think you will be too!

Found this shop by chance after looking for a replacement shop. Other shops were very big with too many stations and therefore noisy. This one was just big enough to accommodate peaceful and personalize service. I especially like that they aim to have two manicurist service you at the same time if you request a manicure and pedicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This way I can get out of the shop quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Moon nails has surpassed my expectations with nail care. Tony has been doing my nails just about 2 years. He leaves my nail mesmerizing. He has never disappointed me. Helen can create spectacular nail designs. Very creative with detail. She has never disappointed me when Tony is not in. My usual are long stiletto nails with added creation, making them look high end-expensive. But at a VERY affordable price. My fills are basic price charge. If you want to add something, it's an amazing price too. OTHER PLACES want to charge me for everything the shape and special nail polish even if it's gel price it's still an addition cost; not here. Pricing is on point very affordable. What you see on pricing sign is what you will be charged, and no surprise charges. Ms. Hannah, Erica, & I have been crazy busy, so Hannah suggested with we take a little break to enjoy some pampering. Downey was a good halfway meeting point and, after a Yelp search, Moon Nails, which recently opened, looked like they could use some Yelp love. Tony greeted us with a smile and got our spa chairs ready for us. We booked pedis, which gave us the opportunity to chat and catch up. The prices here are very reasonable, and as part of their grand opening special we also received 20% off. The salon is clean and everything is sanitized. There are TVs (on mute) for your viewing pleasure and music. I was really enjoying the tunes, which brought back memories of the South. They have a variety of colors to choose from and also provide bottled water. Helen made sure the water temperature was to my liking and trimmed my nails with care. The Pedi was so relaxing, I wanted to take a nap. Thank you Ms. Hannah for setting this up. I love my Barbie Pink toes. *$1 charge added for Credit Card Payments. *Located in a shopping center so there is plenty of free parking.

Decent new spot for pedicures near Downey Landing - Tony, Helen, & Tina were very nice and we had a lovely girls session! They offer several different pedicure options for great prices and right now (August 2023) they're having a 20% discount to celebrate their grand opening. We've been talking about a pedicure-meetup for a long time - as Yelpers from all corners of the LA area, we were looking for a salon halfway for us all which is how we stumbled upon Moon Nails (thanks to YES rockstar @NikkiB!!) - I called to make an appointment for the three of us to have chairs together and they were SO nice and accommodating and made sure we were able to sit together. We all got pedicures and had a great time - they were very patient with us and didn't rush us at all. They got us settled and gave us all a little bottle of water which is a nice touch. I never usually get nail polish so I can't speak to that personally - but my friends got polish and theirs looked great! I opted for their luxury pedicure which includes paraffin treatment and additional hot stone massage. My technician was Tina and she was very nice - but she was a little rough when holding my toes for the trim even after I pulled away and said "ow" lol. Also, she forgot the hot stone part of my pedicure and I remembered too late. Everything else was good though. They have a lot of chairs and nail stations and tons of color choices. Everything is very clean and they have a couple of TVs. Their chairs are a little uncomfortable though - they're positioned oddly and have a hard bumpy part in the backs and I couldn't find a way to adjust them or turn on massage so I'm not sure if they're massage chairs or what. Regardless, we had a nice experience and I'd definitely be back - their prices are great for the area. They're also right next to the huge mall, Downey Landing, so it makes for a nice day out. They're located in a small strip mall right across the street from it and they have plenty of parking. Also, they charge a $1 fee if you pay with credit card so be aware.

This was my first time at this establishment. I received a regular manicure for $18 And I also added the classic pedicure for $36. Please note, they charge one dollar to pay with card. I was seated in massage chair number two and I must note that because I feel the control to the massager was not working properly. Next time I will avoid massage chair #2 , since I love some kneading, tapping, and compression. The place was clean, they were all friendly. I got a regular manicure with polish. She did miss a couple spots. I told her if she could please go over a couple nails one more time and she did.

Toni is great and sweet. The workers make you feel comfortable as well and always a good time. I'm never disappointed or upset and they work with you to give you what you are asking for! They tend to get busy so it's best to make an appointment before you go.

Tony never fails to make me incredibly happy, I love a simple almond set, powder #70 DND #443 Helen and the ladies are amazing and continually provide amazing service!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Moon nails definitely is amazing there staff are always welcoming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], my nails have always been spot on they are done by Tony... this place is definitely a 10/10 lady's i recommend going to Tony for all your future prom,weddings, parties etc he definitely can do all the designs all the other wonderful lady's that work there do an amazing job with pedicures and regular manicure
