I was super excited because I was getting dipped nails for the first time. At first, everything started out fine up until my manicurist answered her cell phone and began to proceed with my nails. Seconds after that she cut me and realized she had to get off the phone. Like a Dummy and because I felt for her, I allowed her to continue. When it was time to dry my nails in the UV light machine, my finger got electrocuted and it burnt my left pinky nail. The manicurist of course tried to play it off and tried redoing it and made it clumpy. I've been working for about 15 years and I've never answered my phone while I was working. If I had to use my phone, I would kindly tell my customer to hang on tight and excuse myself. Super unprofessional and I sadly I waisted my money on my nails. Also, my daughters nails came out way better than mine and she's 10yrs! I haven't been to the nail salon in years and of course the moment I feel like finally going, this happens. Michelle is definitely the Nail Nazi. Don't be late for your appointment! This is a business run by a family and they have fun while they work. Make sure you call ahead and make your appointment otherwise you'll be waiting...... and if you want a pedicure, make sure you ask if they will do it at the same time as your nails, otherwise it'll take longer. I get my nails done by Kelly. She takes her time and I have never been disappointed. If she's not available, Kevin will "do me". Jean is the girl that does the pedicures and she is the only one who does pedicures so you have to have an appointment. I usually just call when I'm on my way and they fit me right in. They don't use polish on your nails so as soon as you wash your hands after they've been buffed, you are ready to go. Cash only type of place. read more

This place was my fav and Kevin was my manicurist he's awesome but is bossed around by his sister and unfortunately lost another loyal customer. I Haven't been back for 7 yrs. I actually haven't been to this place in years but made a special effort to add my Yelp review because although they do a good job on your nails, the rudeness of the owner AKA the 'Nail Nazi' is off the charts. The very last time I went there I also got a pedicure. I was out of cash after I paid but I like to keep a small stash in the car for emergencies. I was headed out to get a tip for my services when I overheard the Nazi state more than ask, "No tip, huh?!" to her sister (who had done the pedicure) How rude!! Did I have to tell you I was going to get it? Tips are optional and in this case I was most definitely going to leave one but instead I just got in my car and never returned. Done. Next. They have a special technique where they paint a fake nail tip on the top white, so that it's a french tip and then the other part they put the pink filler on and stick it to your nail.Yes, I told their secret. It really looks nice. But Michelle is very rude. It's owned by a family, but she is the main person in charge. She talks to the rest of her family like they are peons or beneath her. I'm a stickler for customer service and you will certainly find none here. She is the rudest person I've ever come in contact with. I live about 25 miles away but would make the trip anyway because they do a really good job. A couple of times I was late because of freeway traffic and after that she refused to ever give me another appointment. Every time I would call she would say they had no openings, even if I tried to make one two weeks in advance. She'd say, "NO, we don't have anything." And she would never let me speak to Kevin who would do my nails. I worked with about 6 people who would get their nails done there, and none of them go anymore. And their prices are higher then most nail shops. I found a better place in Manhattan Beach where I live called Francis Nails on Sepulveda and Manhattan Bch Blvd. 5 minutes from my house. I go there now. Yes European Natural Nails is good, but they're not THAT good! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! EVER! read more

Michelle has done my nails about 4 times now, and each time was wonderful. She takes her time to make them even and shaped nicely. She is so fun to chat with, I have enjoyed each time I have come. Honestly don't bother ever going here, it is beyond bad and ridiculously over priced. I don't know what these other people are thinking, maybe they don't require good quality nails or never had them so these do the job. For $28 for a pink and white fill you'd think your nails will come out looking amazing, but that's not the case at all. They put no effort into their work, if you want nice nails for an equal to lesser price and are ever in southern orange county try Holly Nails off Marguerite and Crown Valley, you will be amazed at the difference. I have been going to european natural nails since 2002, their craftmanship is excellent! and there salon hygiene is trustworthy. Their way of doing acrylics is way better as they are consistent, flawless and glossier! I would definitely recommend this nail salon and have for years. They are friendly people and fair to all their customers, so obviously if you arrive late or don't show up you it will affect and irritate the rest of the customers that do come on time. So book in advance, get there on time and tip them right because they are worth it! read more

I have been going to European Natural Nails for 20 yrs plus. No one is compared to them. Yeah there are other nail salons, but I haven't found anyone that has done as good as a job as they have. Because I moved away to DTLA their not as close to get to. I love everyone their from Kevin, Kelly, Michelle and Jean. They do awesome work. They take me in when I have no appointment. The way they do the nails is so different than all the other nail shops....no glue, no nail polish.
