I've been searching for a new nail shop and didn't want to skip on quality. The nail shop I went to before did great with the look of it, but gave terrible massages. I'm talking half-assed soft touch that did absolutely nothing. You can tell they didn't want to be there.. then I passed by this shop one day and say this lady GET IN THERE-- elbows and all. Here I am.... Not only is the massage great, but the chairs are modern, the services are unique (like this salt scrub that is pictured!), and they really give it 100% with everything that they do. Soo disappointed with my nails. Thai did not do a great job. My nails are not shaped smoothly and polish is bumpy. I was pulled ahead of another person that was waiting. We were told Thai didn't know how to work on what she needed. Well now I see what they meant. Pretty upset that I paid $38 and going to have to redo again. Not a very friendly environment and language barrier makes it worse. read more

I called on Friday to book a pedicure, and the man who answered was really nice (I didn't catch his name). I booked my appointment for Sunday and asked if they could put on my Halloween press-on nails. He said yes and that there would be no charge. When I came in on Sunday, the pedicure was amazing -- the lady who did it did such a great job! But when it came time to put on my press-on nails, the person helping me seemed unsure of what she was doing. Then I was charged $11, even though I was told it would be free. Unfortunately, the nails only lasted two days, and it looked like too much glue was used. I would've preferred if they'd just said no instead of doing a rushed job and still charging me. I was really disappointed because the pedicure part was great, but the nail service and miscommunication left me unhappy. read more

I went here a couple of time the first time I told the young guy that did my nails to make them short and he was bothered by it. Mind you I have a baby and I work at a retail store I need my nails short. He kept chuckling k whatever another time I went they didn't even acknowledge me and started taking other ppl so I just walked out. I won't come back. read more

This was my second time here and more than likely will be my last. I asked the man (didn't ask for his name) for a fill on my gelx . I also asked if he could make them a little more rounded as the original nails were more pointed and asked for white tip. As he was doing my nails, I told him I didn't like the shape and was ignored. The first nail he painted turned out fine but not sure what happened to the others. I made a comment saying they weren't even and he just proceeded to do what he wanted. You could see where he filled them. He didn't even file them properly. Leaving disappointed is an understatement. I left almost in tears as these were supposed to be my "Mother's Day" and vacation nails. read more

I came in for a builder gel french set and a pedicure. kim was great on the pedicure. the older gentlemen on my gel builder was not. i didn't quite catch his name but he was incredibly rough and careless throughout the whole process. he was not even going to do my cuticles until i requested for him to and he seemed annoyed by that. he rushed through everything and at some point even left me waiting for a nail repair while a different lady was willing to do it for the customer that came in. if this is a time to relax, i definitely am leaving a lot more stressed than when i came. i have multiple thin cuts on my cuticles from how much he used the nail drill for absolutely everything and i have white nail polish all over my nails as well from how careless he was. i love amor nail lounge and the vicinity but this gentleman was not kind, detailed or careful at all. greatly upset by this experience read more

KIM, i've been going to her for about a year or so & i LOVE the way she does my pedicure. She stood out to me the most because she would start drilling off the gel, cutting my nails, doing all the clean up BEFORE asking me which package i wanted. It's happened in the past where I'd pick the cheapest pedicure package & they'd try to upsell me & i wouldn't want to & they'd do a bad or okay job BECAUSE i chose the "cheaper" package. Kim is different. She always takes her time with me & doesn't treat me different based on the pedicure package. Overall awesome. Wherever she goes, i go! read more

My experience: Cold water in the pedicure tub (then burning, scolding hot so back to ice cold water), cold temp in the salon and seated at the first seat with cold air from the open door freezing me on an already cold day, didn't even see a remote for the massage chair and the young kid named Kenny who helped me didn't even show me where to work the chair until half way through my service when I finally asked. Same song on repeat the entire time I was there...for one hour. Absolutely DRY foot scrub with not one drop of soap but I guess I'm lucky the scrub only lasted for 20 seconds each foot...just as long as the massage. Literally 10-15 second lotion squirt on each foot. HORRIBLE service!!! No wonder this place has very bad ratings on google reviews. When I called, I made an appt for myself and my son. We were there nearly an hour and they never even serviced my son because there were only three employees and two were working on a lady for the entire time we were there and apparently never finished. We left at 5:40 and they promptly close at 5:30 so there was no chance of him getting his service done, which we were kind of thankful for. Not friendly, not helpful, and nail designs are very expensive. I inquired about a flame design, just one color at the tips of the nails and it was an extra $24 JUST FOR THE DESIGN! I think that's a lot so I passed. I've been there before and the experience was quite the opposite but I sadly won't go back. read more

I gave this place a chance because I had no time to get my nails done. My nails are horrible. I asked for gel and my nails are super thick. Super uneven and on top of that he didn't even cut my cuticles. I had to ask him at the end do they not cut cuticles so he became very bothered. I also understood everything they were saying. The guy Ken was very rude and now I have to spend more money to fix this set. read more

This was my first time here and maybe my last! They were rude based upon me just walking in. I love my toes, thanks to Kim ( she's great). My nails are already sensitive due to the previous nail salon which I explained but the guy closest to the wall kept burning me with the drill. He didn't want to be at work to day, so I believe he should've have stayed at home because everything I asked was an attitude. His work was really terrible so I just ended up getting all black nails which surprising look worst. $92 down the drain and that was with a "discount". I came back today 10/13 to get them fixed and David did an amazing!!! He was extremely gentle and kind the entire time, I will be returning:) read more

Really wanted to love this place because it's so close by but I think I'll be sticking to my normal nail salon. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean, I came in to ask for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was aware of the 20% off for the opening month and they let me know about it too so I was excited. I thought to splurge a little bit because of the discount and got the $28 lavender scrub pedicure- there seemed to be really no difference between that one and the classic, except maybe for the fact that they put oil. They told me it would be $25 for my gel too, somehow though, my total came out to $83. I assumed it was because I got french tip and chrome dust, but it still doesn't make sense to me- that was pretty much full price to me. My pedicure came out nice, but not the best job on the lining for the french tip. She did do a great job at prepping the nails though which I really appreciated. For my gel nails, I asked for a second coat of the white tip and she only did it on one so now one nail has a darker french tip than the other. Overall, they do give okay quality nails but not some outstanding service and I definitely wouldn't come back again to pay for the service full price if a 20% discount still came out to $83. read more

I don't know if I got her on a bad day, but I wouldn't want any girl to experience the treatment that I did today. I don't know what she does differently...maybe prays over the wax but it was nearly painless! Shes clean and effective!
