BEWARE: Cockroaches! I am very grossed out by cockroaches, and they have some, so beware. I am sad to give them this review because I think they did a pretty good job, and the older lady was really nice. BUT one, it doesn't seem like they really sanitize their tools properly, it looked Like they were just rinsed with water and that is not good sanitation. And 2, they have cockroaches! this is not good for health reasons, those insects carry bacteria. Their prices are cheaper than most, but given what I just said, I think it's overpriced. It's no wonder why they charge a little less than other places/ All I am saying is be careful when you come here, this lack of cleanliness can be a hazard. Don't put your bags on the floor, keep them in your lap. And I say don't let your kids be touching anything in there. read more

The salon is unsanitary: I saw the lady take the tools to the back sink and scrub them really quick with soap and water instead of opening a new package. Then she proceeded to use them on a new client's feet immediately after the other. She did not even wash her hands. Also, the chairs and tables are full of other people's nail dust all over the place. I waited about 15-20 with my nails in foil and acetone because another client walked in. The lady could have told her to wait but instead she made me wait when she had already started on my gel nail remover. I told her that she wasted my time and I had to leave. She still charged me $5 just for taking off my gel polish I already had on. All of this took 30 mins: walking in, choosing color, sitting waiting, getting foil and acetone on nails, sitting waiting, finally removing polish and then leaving. I didn't even get a real service done. read more

Came in for a basic gel manicure. Only one other person was being helped & the male tech started removing my old gel. Immediately started roughly pushing my cuticles back and continued to do so even after me saying ouch several times. Ended up cutting two of my cuticles & still roughly filed over the cuts despite them clearly bleeding. When he went to put on the gel color I picked, it was clearly so old that it had darkened to a completely different color. Once the color was finally done, he only put lotion on my arms. I had to ask for lotion to be put on my hands. The main woman there asked to look at my nails and filed the corners of my nails even more. I was just in the neighborhood & needed my nails done but I will definitely not be back. read more

WARNING ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! Business owner says that customer service is a priority except that place is filthy. So how are we supposed to be satisfied when we see ROACHES crawling around and tools that look like they aren't sanitized properly which is disgusting? At first I felt bad for the employees but they seemed to know about the problem and haven't done anything to improve. I saw at least 5 roaches while I was there (no exaggeration). While I was getting a pedicure there was a baby cockroach on my leg!! I was MORTIFIED. I flicked it off. I was so revolted. I am so DISGUSTED and FURIOUS! They need to get an exterminator ASAP or close down. They even sprayed raid right next to me. Get your shit together. I ended up paying $29 and they didn't even offer a discount after they saw what I went through. You're probably wondering why I didn't leave as soon as I saw the first roach. I thought it would be the only one I would see. After it just got harder and harder for me to leave because I didn't want to make a scene and I was too deep in the pedicure process. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. I didn't tip the nail tech. $29 for two pedicures was too much for the things we experienced. I bet the owner won't even reply to this because she knows what's going on. read more

Filthy, RUDE, homophobic, rushed. When Nancy found out I was there with my wife she shook her head and started ranting in Vietnamese and rushed the rest of my pedicure. I don't know why everyone has something nice to say about Tracy. She was rude, super rushed my manicure and didn't even cut my cuticles or massage the lotion into my skin. If you want cheaper terrible, and rushed service, with dirty towels with toe jam and nail clippings stuck to it go here. read more

UPDATE: just because I don't find it fair that some business owners reply to reviews as if the "reviewer" is wrong. I simply posted my personal opinion on the business. There was NO AC when I went in, it must've not been working during that time, but it was indeed an oven in there. I also don't appreciate that comments were made on certain points but absolutely no apology when it came to the tech who physically removed me from the chair. Ive gone to several other nail salons and this just wasn't up to par IN MY OPINION. Found this little place on Yelp and figured I'd try it since my go-to nail place was completely booked and I needed my nails done ASAP. Well...i had a bad experience and here's why: 1. It was over 90 degrees outside and they had no AC or fans for customers. 2. Wait time was ridiculous. I was the only one waiting for a service. Only one nail tech was working and two others doing pedicures, one of which was an older man, took an eternity and a half to finish a basic pedi. 3. The nail tech was finally able to start working on me after about 30 mins wait time at noon. I was getting a gel full set done by her. Well she filed my acrylics then moved me to a pedicure chair so she can start on someone else's manicure who said she had to leave in 20 mins (she was getting her pedicure done). So there I waited until she was done with her so she can start painting my nails. 4. Once my pedicure was done, the man put my sandals on and the lady who had done my full set came and physically moved me from the chair I was sitting on and told me "okay come on, you're done". It had literally been no more than 2 mins since they had finished painting my nails. SO RUDE. She is either the owner or manager. 5. She was upset when I told her I'd be paying card not cash and gave me a really dirty look and said it'll be $1 extra, fine I didn't care. I'm not in love with my nails. She could've done a MUCH better job, had she not rushed. Safe to stay this was my first and last time here. read more

Friday Afternoon Mani/Pedi - 2nd visit! Pedi - Got the royal spa pedicure for $25 which I mainly got for the 10 minute massage, WORTH IT! My lady was amazing and despite them being busy on a Friday afternoon she took her time with my crusty feet and made them into some poppin Cinderella toes with my go to white nail polish. Mani - let me back track, first time I got gel done here and wasn't super impressed. This 2nd visit, I tried the dip powder for the first time ever, and with One Nail Spa's very own, TRACY, who was amaze! I walked in right before the peak afternoon customer rush and despite having her regulars come in, Tracy didn't rush me and 5 days later my dip powder nails are still looking fresh.
