Very rude service. She has a problem with doing feet and nails and had a bad attitude not once but twice. When I inquired about prices she told me if I don't like her prices then I can try another shop. She even got mad @ me because I couldn't tip her, she took it as I didn't "like" her. HOW RUDE. This is my new nail place to go to. I have been here twice so far and I love it. The first time was a day before Labor Day and the nail tech was great. She did warn me that she was going to have to do my full set first and then pedicure after when I texted her for an appt and I was ok with that. I was questioning myself why but I didn't care. When I got there she told me that she is by herself and that she is looking for people to hire. I understood. Fast forward to almost a month later I needed a fill and a pedicure. She's fresh in the nail salon business (a little over 2 months) so she's trying to find employees to help her in the salon. Be patient if you are a walk-in! where do I even begin ? I went to modern nails because it had amazing ratings. It was a nice place and very clean. About 8 days after I got a full set two of my nails broke off, they're brand new they shouldn't break after 8 days. So I go to replace them and she said she's busy and maybe she might have time next week to fix them, I work in retail as a jewelry associate I can't have nails missing when I'm working with customers all day long. I was heated and asked her if she had any openings for the following day and she said come in tomorrow at 11 and I might be able to fix them for you. Might ?! I payed $92 for my nails and you might be able to fix them?! So I get those two nails fixed and this is less than a week later. I took all my nails off after this and I am going to a new place. This is absolutely ridiculous I spent a lot of money hoping my nails would last me two weeks and this is how they turn out. I would highly recommend not going to this place it's too pricy and the quality isn't great. read more

They need to clarify what the customer wants before starting. My daughter and I both wanted gel nails. We wrote it on the sign in sheet and said it when we were asked about the services. I saw that they weren't using the black light on hers and spoke up. The woman abruptly started wiping off the nail polish and said that my daughter said she wanted the regular polish. She then stood up and STARTED SOMEONE ELSES NAILS!!! Really unprofessional and my daughter felt like she did something wrong not stopping her sooner. It took 25 minutes to even start putting the gel on her nails. I understand that this place is a small shop because she was busy with someone else. I was expecting a wait with only 2 people working there at the time. The wait should have been at the beginning before we sat down, not in the middle of the services when they move onto someone else. My daughter was talking about this for several days and I had to share. They need to hire more people and work on customer service. read more

Today was my very first time doing false nails, although, I've been to other places where I had gel nail polish. This is honestly the cleanest nail salon I have ever seen. Amy sterilizes all of her tools, place looks very clean. She is very nice, I had 4 different designs on my nails and I didn't hear her huff and puff because the amount of work she had to do, she was happy to help me.
