UPDATE: Krysthal continues to show her horrible attitude. I said nothing offensive or bad about her. She decided to go on a rant on her business instagram page (which is normal for her apparently). The professionalism & trying to "expose" someone is beyond ridiculous. Don't have a business if you can't take feedback. We are adults, I would hope you would act like one & since you don't want to show the WHOLE story I included my side. I am not "hurt" you can't wax me but whatever makes you feel better about your poor defensive attitude. Instead of going on rants, maybe learn & improve communication with clients. It sucks I am having to write this review.. I've gone to Krysthal a couple times last year and absolutely loved her & her service. Not sure what happened from then to now.. I scheduled an appointment & she has to approve your appointment time. She reached out the next day for me to make a deposit to hold my appointment & sent me the invoice.. not a problem. I paid my deposit & then received a notification that my appointment request was expired. I was a little confused, to me I thought that meant my appointment was cancelled. I texted Krysthal to let her know I had paid but I was notified it was expired. I didn't hear anything back for about an hour. I thought it was a day she wasn't working so I had asked to be refunded since I thought my appointment had been cancelled. Right away she texted me back saying she was working and explained that my appointment was confirmed & asked me if I still wanted a refund she could do it right then. Before I could even respond which I apologized & wanted to keep my appt she just instantly refunded me & gave me major attitude, being very passive aggressive. Then she said she doesn't think that she is the best waxer for me in the future so she just shut me down instantly as a customer. I apologized & wanted to still keep my appointment but I'm assuming she got upset I asked for a refund instead of hearing me out? The new system she uses is kind of confusing since it sends these automated messages. Very unprofessional. Sad because don't get me wrong she is great at what she does but I think the customer service side & how she approaches people just doesn't match up. The glowing reviews are not lies! The place is clean and well decorated. Krissy did a great job. Obviously it still hurt, but she was very good at cueing my breath to minimize the pain. Had my first Brazilian today with Krysthal and it was amazing. Obviously a Brazilian is not going to be the most pleasant experience in the world (especially for your first time) but she really makes it as comforting and smooth as possible. It wasn't nearly as painful as I expected it to be, she's very fast and applies good pressure after she removes each section of wax. She also offered me a shot of tequila beforehand to loosen up lol! Such a pretty salon, amazing therapist, wax was my favorite wax (strip free and painless)., she uses an amazing "juice" after the wax that is anti Ingrowings but smelt so good that I actually wanted to drink it! I don't even know where to begin or how to explain how amazing Krissy is at this!! I had only received a Brazilian Wax two times and they were all at the European Wax Center about a year ago. The pain I would feel when they would wax me had me flinching and squirming on the table!! About 3 weeks ago I really wanted a Brazilian Wax as I was 9 months pregnant and about to have my whole kitty exposed on that delivery bed!! I found @thesnatchtrap on yelp & IG and read all the great reviews and decided to give it a try. First of all, Krissy kept me informed the whole process and was so motivating! She would say these are the tougher spots, there's only 2 strips left to do and would assure me I was doing pretty good! I honestly did not feel any pain. I don't know how she did it but the whole wax was pretty much painless, I felt a little bit during the tougher areas but I was not squirming around during the wax. I was so happy and surprised because I expected the pain to be even greater than my first two attempts at EWC, given that the skin is more sensitive during pregnancy and especially at nine months but NOPE it was the best waxing experience I've had!
